Hotel meets all needs, took care of all issues timely. Parking free, but can be pretty far from hotel when busy. Complementary internet spotty. Staff for the most part pleasant and helpful. Felt hotel cost a little high, as location nothing special (no views or near anything exciting). Appears to be a business hotel and hosts personal events on weekends.

Everything was great. When we arrived, there wasn't enough towels. So, we called front desk to have them brought and they weren't. So we had to call font desk twice to get the towels. But other than that, it was great.

Clean and spacious rooms. Hotel was attractive and consistent with the Hilton brand. Buffet breakfast options were limited and a choice, even with an additional charge, would have been welcomed. We ate breakfast out. Our room faced a busy highway which made sleeping difficult. There were not enough baggage carts which made check-in and getting up to your room very difficult and caused a line-up of cars outside the hotel lobby. The front-desk was inadequately staffed, particularly on Saturda... Read more

Very convenient location and price was excellent however... the room door and a window up to the balcony which looks up/down the 7 floors, to the lobby. Very noisy. If you need quiet I'd recommend a suite room with a separate bedroom. I'm a tech guy, wireless signal not strong enough to complete login to laptop, mobile phone connected but very slow. All the noise of a large commercial building plus adult laughter and conversation with bar in center of lobby; and kids running, yelling and having ... Read more

We stayed over Memorial weekend and the air conditioning did not work. It was miserable and the management did nothing to address the issue. The rooms have a separate living room but the door closing off the bedroom was too big for the frame and could not be closed. The rooms include a microwave and refrigerator. The hotel is across the street from a large mall so lots of dining options.

The whole atrium hotel concept has gotten incredibly stale and distasteful. From the artificially scented lobby (what foul odor are they trying to hide?) to the stale air in the atrium to the dirty old carpet in the rooms, to housekeeping who "forgets" to clean the room, this hotel is just plain tired. I felt trapped and couldn't wait to check out.

The room itself was very nice. We got a 1 Bedroom Suite, which they call a 2 room suite. Spacious, with normal amenities, and clean. A couple of complaints: Wifi didn't work at all either day we were there. The pool needed cleaning - there were various things floating around in it. Additionally, the shallow end was 3 feet deep, which was too tall for my toddler to stand in - why have a pool without a useful shallow end? Anyhow, the place was quiet enough and it was serviceable for a 1 night st... Read more

The hotel itself wasn't bad. I did not appreciate the fact that the sheets in the bedroom had a few blood stains on them. When I tried to call room service from the bedroom, the telephone was broken so I had to use my cell. Other than that, it was fine.

This is a great place for a business trip in and around Valley Forge/Plynouth Meeting. Clean. Huge rooms. Good breakfast. Easy access to the turnpike and 476. Got a lot of work done in the room with good internet, a really good desk. The lounge/bar are perfect for the end of the day.

Upon arrival at the hotel, I was not greeted as a Hilton Honors member. It took a long time to check in. As a loyal Hilton customer, I have come to expect an above average check in process. This was not the case here. There seems to be no control of the pool. The staff seemed to ignore the loud rap music and dancing in the pool area from other guests but was overly vigilant about policing children eating pizza in the lobby. The wifi service is poor. The breakfast buffet for$16.00 per person is ... Read more

Excellent on all fronts. Staff was courteous, food was good, and room was clean and quiet. The lobby is open and overlooks a nice restaurant/bar. I look forward to staying there again soon!!! It's a bit out of the way, but that adds to the quietness -- there are no highway noises like at a lot of other hotels.

We have been using this property for over a decade and it is not as good as it used to be. It is one of the better Hilton properties in Plymouth Meeting. But better Hilton properties are downtown and at the airport. The staff are good. The pool is adequate but they closed the whirlpool which had been there for years. The breakfast is not very good anymore. Powdered eggs and limited selections - for the same price and better quality, a Cracker Barrell is less than 2 miles away

Staff great, rooms are fine. The issue here is everything is just a little bit old and its like an internal airport hotel, not that matters at all, just as an FYI. My room was a great example. The refrigerator made a noise that kept me awake, the work table had a leg that had been fixed, badly. On the plus point the breakfast was more than fine, seem a little different on the cooked side everyday. Maid server was very good, I have stayed in enough hotels to get things. Bed was comfortable.

Great hotel with several things that we really liked - 1. Has a great bar area 2. They offer 10.00 off the 14.95 breakfast buffet if you check out by 10am. 3. Lovely sitting area, which is great since my husband is an early riser. 4. Great blackout curtains and extremely comfortable, clean bedding. 5. Hairdryer, iron and some toiletries included (shampoo, conditioner, lotion, soaps, and shower cap). 6. Nice parking lot in an industrial park. 7. Refrigerator, microwave, and coffee pot!... Read more

The room was clean and had all of the amenities we were expecting. Beds were comfortable and staff were courteous. The only issue we had was the shower head and drain, but we mentioned it to the staff upon checkout and they seemed like they were going to address it. The gym here was spacious and had a good selection of equipment. I wasn't expecting a pool or laundromat, but they had both. I would avoid the breakfast buffet. Low quality options especially for $15+tip. 2 minute walk from Plymouth ... Read more

The hotel is ok. Good, not great. Beds are comfortable and rooms are quiet. Breakfast is pretty good. The main issue is that if you need Wifi, you will not get it. Basically it is non-existent. This is very important to me for business travel, and the times I have stayed, I have had to use my phone as a data hot spot.

I recently stayed at this property for one night on business. On a positive note - the rooms were spacious, clean, and well updated. They met my expectations for a DoubleTree property. The fitness center was well equipped for both cardio and strength training. On a negative note - at least 10-15 of the TV channels were out in my room which would have been frustrating if staying for more than 1 night. Additionally, as a HHonors Diamond Member, I received a voucher for a free breakfast. I we... Read more

I selected this hotel based on the location and HHonors Program. Normally during family travel I use the Hampton Inn. My husband who rarely mentions likes or dislikes was quite happy with the hotel and the offerings (he loved that cookie). I will select the DoubleTree again.

We reserved a king suite with living room area. The room was clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable. There was a really nice staff member who brought us a pack and play. She even set it up for us outside our door before bringing it in. The hotel lobby set up was nice. There were reception areas being used, but we didn't hear anything in our room. I have stayed in dozens of hotels through the years, and my stay at this Doubletree is probably the worst experience I have ever had. It is difficult to know where to begin. We stayed on a Saturday night, and the noise was so loud that at midnight it was impossible to sleep or do anything else in the room. The hotel manager said there were parties going on and refused to intervene. The tv in the room was broken as was one of the telephones. One of the beds was lumpy and impossible to sleep on. W... Expected more from a Hilton property. A couple of truly negative experiences occurred when I stayed for 2 nights for a wedding. First, we arrived on a Friday and ended up with a room on the 2nd floor. The hotel has a huge bar and the entire middle of the hotel is open air. Therefore, when parties are being held in the bar, you can hear all of it on the 2nd floor. The party lasted well past midnight and you could hear it pretty clearly. One nitpick: when checking in remotely, I wasn't told which floors were Honors floors, which I only found out when I got on the elevator. I probably didn't miss anything. On the plus side, the digital key works well, without noticeable lag. Now the negative: the Internet speed was wholly inadequate.
