The staff was very helpful and friendly. The beds are not very comfortable in this location. We had to pay a premium for this hotel due to a hockey tournament. There is also a lack of electrical outlets in the bedroom. I had to move the nightstand to be able to charge my iPad at night. When traveling with a family in such a confined area, you need to have access to your electronic devices so that you can work on things before the others wake up, You also cannot see the tv from the bed, only the ... This is a great location to have access to restaurants, shopping, the airport and not far from downtown. Staff were pleasant, room pretty nice...enjoyed our stay. We were in town for Beerfest and this was one of the least expensive Marriots in the area. We'd stay here again!

this location is tired. the staff is friendly, but the rooms are dirty. stained carpet and general stickiness to everything. Plus, there are flood lights and noisy trucks all night, making for a tough place to actually sleep.

This is our first time to stay at the Springhill Suites Brand by Marriott. We usually stay at the Courtyard, full -service Marriott or Residence Inn whenever we are in Pittsburgh. Our stays are mostly for 1-2 nights, while in transit, thus, we opt to stay at locations close to the airport. We are very pleased to stay at the SpringHill Suites and here's why: 1. Service- The free-shuttle service was excellent. Upon arrival, we called the hotel from the Baggage area. Michael, the front desk person ... Read more

We stayed here for 3 nights. It was easy to find off the highway and it's close to so many restaurants and shops. You can walk to all of them very easily. The parking lot was a decent size. The building was clean and seemed to be well maintained. When we checked in the gentleman at the desk was friendly. The lobby is comfortable. Our room was on the third floor by the elevator. We never heard any noise at night. We thought it was actually pretty quiet. Our room and bathroom were clean. The bed... Read more

We stayed here after picking up my grandson and granddaughter at the airport. I took my grandson to Ben Rothlesberger's football camp the next day. My wife and granddaughter waited at the hotel until the camp was over that day (12:30). I asked at th desk for a late checkout since it would take me at least a half hour to drive back from the camp. I was refused a late checkout but the desk clerk due to the fact that she said she would have to clear it through housekeeping (!) and there was no one ... Read more

We stayed one night at this hotel over 4th of July. We picked this place as a pit stop on the way to our final destination. It was important to us to pick a place that was priced reasonably, that included breakfast and that it had a pool for the kids. This hotel met all of our requirements. Our first impression of this hotel was very nice. The lobby looks newly renovated with a modern look. My kids loved the free snacks available at the front desk (anything from fishy crackers, pretzels, fruit... Read more

I stayed here to help my daughter move. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is very good with a large selection. The only negative is there is only one elevator for approx. 125 rooms. I would definitely stay here again.

First of all, BIG SHOUT OUT to Michael and Nikki at the front desk. Those two have always gone above and beyond for me with their guest service skills. THANKS!! This is my second time staying at this property. I stay for about a week every other month on average for business. The rooms are decent, the staff is usually great and the breakfast is plentiful. I'm going to combine this review for both stays... By the middle of my first stay, both Michael and Nikki would address me by name witho... Read more

Reserved and paid for room with two real beds night prior to Pittsburgh Marathon in May. Arrived at Springhill Suites early evening and room was given to someone else. There were three of us and no one was expecting to have to sleep on a sleeper sofa. The clerk admitted that they overbook the rooms? Why.....not for my benefit of course. Otherwise---elevator was very slow and noisy. Place was not very clean. Poorly kept motel. Only had two sets of towels so had to run back to front des... Read more

Booked a roon via Priceline only to find that the 24 hr airport shuttle is from 5AM to 11PM! Had to catch a cab!!! The manager stated that he did not care....the room was small, the tv blurred and went off at midnight resulting in a call to the front desk. Find anywhere else...not friendly, not caring, not a quality hotel/motel...

Our plane arrived at the Pittsburgh airport at 1AM. We needed a great bed to crash after the flight. The front desk clerks could not be more helpful. They greeted us with a smile, helped us with everything we needed. This was just what we needed And when my daughter came in after a morning run, the staff handed her a cold bottle of water. Now that's customer service!

Overall the hotel is nice with a very friendly and helpful staff. Check in was a breeze and the young lady at the desk was very cheerful and professional and gave us a great tip on a place to eat. The downside is that their smoking area is right outside the front door so depending on which way the wind is blowing you have to suffer through the smell. The room was very large (we had a double queen suite) with a good shower/bathroom. However, the noise from the street was very loud even with t... Read more

Picked this hotel for location close to family, restaurants and shopping. Reservation was for 3 nights. After 10 minutes at the hotel I went to the front desk and changed it to 1 night. The first impression is terrible. Upon walking into the room we were hit with the strongest air freshner smell imaginable. Then we noticed the MANY stains on the carpet. I am hoping they were pizza sauce or ketchup as opposed to something else! I went back to the front desk and complained about the smell. ... Read more

$126 to sleep 4 hours and onto the airport for a 6 am flight. Pleasant front desk, which is cool @ 11 pm when you're only there for a few hours. Clean rooms. Plenty of parking. EZ on and EZ off. Will stay here again on an upcoming trip.

I recently wrote a review of a different SpringHill Suites and this one will be similar in that this brand really needs to get its act together with consistency. There are many good characteristics of this particular property which I will get to, but first... SpringHill Suites vary in room appointments based on whether it is an older SpringHill Suites or a newer one. This happens to be one of the older ones. When you walk into the lobby, you're greeted with a very modern, refreshed, West Elm de... Read more
