From check-in to check-out cannot say enough good things about this time in Pittsburgh. Our room was ready and clean and kept clean. The breakfast area was small but Barbara helped with waffle cooking and another woman was quick to clean the tables as people left. Never had to wait although filled with a convention. The very best part was Rick, the shuttle driver. Oh my, the shuttle took every place we needed to go and he shared information on what to do when we got there. He dropped us of... Read more

Great location and convenience for attending the various CMU Graduation events and ceremonies all weekend long. Free parking and a shuttle is available to be able to come and go throughout the stay. It is also close enough to downtown Pittsburgh that getting to events and attractions in the downtown area are easy as well.

Hotel in a sketchy part of town with small rooms and no pool. My daughter and I visited this Hampton in and upon arrival from the parking lot we were not impressed. The area of which it is located does not seem to be the safest. Our view from the window was that of an abandoned building with others in the imediate vacinity. Also the rooms were tiny and this location DOES NOT have a pool so if you're traveling with kids who love the water....not the place for you to stay.

We stayed with our volleyball team for a tournament at the Convention Center in Pittsburgh. The hotel was well situated and easy to access. Breakfast was terrific with fresh fruit salad, nuts, berries, oatmeal, bagels, eggs, sausage, waffles and real syrup. The gym was a bit lacking, but rooms were clean and comfortable with fridge and microwave. Staff were very accommodating.

We have stayed here multiple times over the past few years and it is a great place to stay. Newly remodeled with very friendly and helpful front desk staff. Free morning breakfast is more than coffee and toast. Entire hotel is very clean and neat. Rooms are very quiet. Convenient to all things in the University and multiple hospitals area and close enough to the Shadyside area as well. It's a great place to stay.

Friendly staff, decent breakfast. Check in was easy. Katie was very friendly. She also helped me later with HHonors connectivity since they were having issues with the Wi-Fi. Parking is a bit pricey for what you get. Rooms were clean but not spacious. Ok for our purpose - Pitt campus visit. Both beds were too soft for our tastes, as were the pillows. Clean rooms, very limited breakfast choices, food was a little stale. Staff ere friendly - biggest rip off was parking, Understand it is downtown etc, but charging $ 15 to park in a unsecured lot is a not right. If you are going to charge at least offer a service. Rooms appeared smaller than usual Hampton properties, don't plan to work from the room. Good place for a night or two stay. Attraction is the location period
