Comfortable affordable hotel. Nice breakfast. Easy in and out of the city. Not too far from resturaunts and shopping outside of the city. Clean rooms. Nice pool and hot tub. Would stay there again next time.

Very nice hotel, rooms and comfort. Iffy on the breakfast. The beds are a modest size with decents sheets and pillows. Although the pillows could be better. Sucks that it's near highways. Free parking so can't complain.

Everything from the room to the staff was great. Rooms were super clean and updated. The free breakfast was good for a free breakfast, my 3 year old got his money's worth with the juice and fruit bowl out at all times. Spent sometime in the pool which was nice. Overall every staff member I encountered was smiling and very helpful

Was in town looking for an apartment for son, found one first day and cancelled second night stay, staff very helpful and accommodating. Rooms clean, staff helpful. Only complaint would be breakfast bar tight in space when lots in room. Not much room to move about, especially while waiting for food to cook. Otherwise great place.

I stayed at this location when I attended a local wedding and the overall experience was great! The lobby and room were very clean and I was thankful for the breakfast in the morning. I am a little annoyed that TripAdvisor is making me write a minimum of 200 characters when I would like to simply say that my stay at this hotel was great but I keep being kicked back into this review box to add more characters.

The price was great as was the staff and pool. The place was clean and comfortable and the staff was very helpful. We had some friends over in the lobby for a pizza pool party and the hotel lobby receptionist was extremely helpful in getting us set up and cleaning up after us.

I stayed here while visiting relatives. There was plenty of well-lit parking and I felt safe. The digital check-in was great and I got the room I wanted, which was very quiet, even though the hotel is near the road. The breakfast was good, there was always coffee prepared. The lobby area was nice and clean and a friendly atmosphere.

This is the second time I have stayed here. Clean, good breakfast, and near lots of shopping and restaurants. Good value! Only minor thing is it is on a divided highway, so you cannot turn to go north out of the parking lot. Indoor pool , good for families or business travelers.

Stayed at this Hampton Inn last Sunday and Monday nights for the U.S. Open. Access to the hotel takes some getting used to. I am sure the people at the front desk get tired of having to show guests a map of how to get to the hotel from McKnight Road. The room was nothing special but was clean and served its purpose. Either the walls are thin or we had a noisy neighbor who watched TV all night. The best part of this hotel was the breakfast. There was a nice variety of items to choose from. You co... Read more

The hotel was well furnished, the pool was nice for relaxing, and the fitness area was right by our room (as was the pool). Wish all hotels were as nice and staff as engaging. The free breakfast was different each day of our three-day stay, and all items were kept stocked and some items were even changed up such as the fresh fruit. Great oatmeal! Lots of choices for breakfast, both healthy and indulgent (such as fresh waffles and whipped cream).

Compared to Pittsburgh downtown hotels. This is a bargain. Minimal traffic delays going into city. Many good restaurants within 5 to 10 minute drive. Shopping malls close to hotel too. Hotel is quiet on the rooms facing away from highway.

We were in Pittsburgh for an overnight weekend stay to visit family & attend the symphony. The hotel was less than 10 minutes from downtown which was very convenient. The rooms are much nicer than the average - large, with interesting décor, the online pictures did not do it justice. There is a wall unit surrounding the window which includes a desk with charger station & a closet made to look like a wardrobe, a clever design. I had a job in the area, and stayed for 3 nights. The staff was friendly and helpful and the indoor pool and hot tub were great. It is hard to get to this hotel, due to the configuration of the road and the need to make u-turns, but once you are there, it is great. There are no restaurants within walking distance, so the roadway issue makes it a little more difficult. Breakfast was good, the hotel was clean and the service was great. I was a bit concerned when I first pulled up to the hotel. It is on a long stretch of highway with not much around it but other hotels, a church, and what looked to be an "adult store." My room's bathroom smelled strongly of mildew - enough that I kept the bathroom door closed during my visit. For this class of hotel that's pretty unacceptable. Lobby was very flourescenty (new word?) - clean, but sterile & uninviting. Breakfast was standard fare, though the food area was super putting out a buffet in your closet. Experience on par with hotels that cost a lot less, won't be staying again.

Great hotel located just 10 minutes outside the city. Staff was very friendly and provided driving directions along with a print out map. Even though undergoing lobby renovation there was minimum disruption. I've stayed at this hotel numerous times over the last 10 years. On previous visits it had what I expected of a Hampton; clean rooms, freshly laundered duvets on the beds, a good breakfast, and a friendly staff.
