The walk to PNC park is about 15 min. away. It is also within walking distance to the Subway and buses which can take you to either Heinz Field, Mt. Washington (incline), or the Strip. My friend and I had a great time at the hotel. I would also like to say that the staff were very nice and friendly.

Stayed 2 nights to attend a Pirates game this hotel is perfectly situated near PNC park and close to many great places to eat, a T stop is a block away. Perfect in that I parked and never needed my car once. The rooms are brand new flawless, the breakfast setup is better than some Embassy suites in that there is plenty of seating, and the selection is quite varied. Valet parking is $32 many other locations are $25-$28. So they push the envelope on pricing there.

The service, room and food were all excellent. The location is great for exploring Pittsburgh, and was a short walk from the Andy Warhol Museum and the Pittsburgh Pirates ballpark. Also easy access to the subway system via the Wood Street station. Quiet room and the beds were comfortable. We will return.

This hotel was chosen for its proximity to PNC Park to attend a concert. While we were frustrated with the construction going on around the hotel which caused difficulty finding the valet parking, once we were inside, the customer service we had was top notch! They sent the valet to retrieve our car from another parking garage and helped us get checked in. Our room was perfect for 3 female adults and one teenage male. We loved how spacious the room was and that we all had our separate spaces. We... Read more

Great stay great service all around. Would not change a thing about this hotel. Close to everything downtown. Breakfast was fantastic. Salt water pool was great. We watched the baseball game from the window at the bar! Views were the best!

The ENTIRE staff at this location was phenomenal! From the bellhop, the check-in, restaurant and housekeeping staff. I can't say a single negative word about any of them. The free happy hour was a pleasant surprise and the hot breakfast was wonderful beyond all expectations.

Rooms are not cleaning very well. My bathroom was dirty when I checked in. I had to call to get it clean. For the rest of The week it didn't seem like my room was cleaned other than my bed being made.

We stayed at the Embassy Suites on Saturday, July 2, 2016. We were attending the Kenny Chesney concert in the city and didn't want to drive home after. We were amazed by the view of the city from the lobby on the 25th floor. Our room was beautiful and spacious, and we even had a small view of the Allegheny river. The shower was very modern and impressive. Also, the hamburgers at the restaurant were out of this world (and reasonably priced)! We will definitely stay here again in the future. It is... Read more

The room was very nice, everything else was terrible from finding the hotel, eating there and the free breakfast was total chaos. Finding the valet parking took 45 minutes and the check-in is on the 25th floor of the hotel. No one was in charge of the free breakfast buffet. Tables weren't cleaned promptly, so you had a mass of hungry people with nowhere to sit. Food, juice and coffee were not monitored, so you were constantly having to find someone. The dining room at night was not used and... Read more

To make this review useful, I'll start by saying that the property and location are beautiful and the staff, with one exception, were very friendly and welcoming. The low rating stems not from the property itself, but from the hassle connected with the reservation process and a Hilton Honors certificate for a free night (about $450!) that evaporated the day after we checked in. And Embassy Suites, Downtown Pittsburgh manager Britney's dogged refusal to do anything to help and seemed to care no... Read more

I frequent Hilton properties as I am a preferred member. Took an Uber from the airport (remember to use the temporary entrance address for your drop off). Hotel was nice but unusual in its design in that registration, restaurants, bar and pool were all on the top floor. It was convenient to PNC park, probably not more than a 15 minute walk. Room was nice and well a/c'd on a very hot weekend. Only issues: 1. No sheets on or for the fold out couch so I just wrapped myself in a blanket and b... Read more

Stayed with my husband. We watched a pirates game and hung out with some friends. This hotel was amazing. We were able to check in a little early which was a plus. The girls at the desk where so helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The room was clean and just perfect. It's actually two rooms, one with the bed the other with a pull out couch . Breakfast was wonderful and lots of choices. We are definitely staying again. Its within walking distance to PNC Field and market square, which is ver... Read more

The room was very clean and spacious. Overall very happy with it. However the pull out couch had no sheets. We had to call three times to get them sent up after each time they said they were on the way. This happened at 8pm and took until 11pm which was not ideal given we had tired kids. They were unapologetic The overall service was poor from front desk to managers reception. The hotel was sold out which appeared to give the staff the sense that service was not relevant The only group with... Read more

A unique location with some great views of city. However, the lobby setup for evening reception and breakfast is terrible. To wait 15 minutes in a line for a cup of coffee is ridiculous, longer for food or a drink during the evening. Hilton needs to rethink the layout of the 25th floor lobby and reception area as it can't handle hotel occupancy.

We had a wonderful experience with this hotel for a Pitt football game weekend. The breakfast buffet was great with made to order omelettes and an extensive selection of other items. The afternoon happy hour with free cocktails was an added bonus. Definitely will stay again when we're back in Pittsburgh.

Rooms were all suites and very clean. Room service was prompt and staff was friendly. Few breakfast and happy hour were a nice perk. Only complaint is the wifi was spotty at best. Most of my 3 day stay it was not working.

From the beginning to the end it was wonderful. Called to make reservations since we wanted to use both points and money. The reservations rep was a pleasure to work with and had us in the room we wanted but at a lower price than what we had found online. Checking in was smooth - the bellmen were a delight. After traveling for four hours on top of a full workday, they greeted us as if we were regulars. They weren't there to collect a paycheck, at least it didn't seem, they appeared to reall... Read more

My wife and I stayed here a night this week and found it comfortable, clean, and completely acceptable. We had several minor glitches (shower handle came off while in use; breakfast prepared eggs were a bit dry) but they will solve any problems with a smile and special order eggs are available. Coffee was great flavor. Would have liked a microwave in the suite, but there was a second television and large bath with wonderful views out the windows. We hope to come again here.

This is a very nice hotel in a historic building in downtown Pittsburgh. The decor is modern and the room is very clean and spacious. The location wasn't in the best part of town but was a quick walk to the subway to get you to other parts, including Heinz field, etc. The daily happy hour included rail drinks and varied snacks. Breakfast buffet was extensive with an omelette station and many other breakfast options. I would stay here again and recommend to friends.

Stayed with friends and it was great to meet in the lobby (25th floor!) in the evening to visit in a comfortable and scenic location. Historic building and exceptional fitness room and pool. Breakfast was very good and staff friendly and efficient. Rooms very clean and neat. Seemed to be recently renovated.

We absolutely loved our quick weekend stay here. The interior is beautiful with the old design but upgraded sections. Service was great. Lots of good lobby area to meet up and hang out with people. The hotel was nice, but very cold. The thermostat would only go to 75 degrees and the rooms was very cold. The meeting rooms was also very cold. Our group was from different parts of the United States and many of us was very uncomfortable at the hotel due to the temperature and not being able to increase the heat. Some of the people stated there was no hot water when taking a shower. I have stayed at many Ebassy Suites and by far, I was dissatisfied with the Ebassy Suites in Pittsburg, PA.

I have stayed in Pittsburgh before, and this hotel was the best value I have seen in all of my visits to this wonderful city. It was located in "the triangle", so it had access to everything: parking, restaurants, the convention center, shopping, just to name a few. The weekend parking rates couldn't have been cheaper. I will definitely use this hotel for all of my future Pittsburgh visits!
