I wouldn't stay at this location again for free !!! Far less than 50% capacity and they assign me a room at the far end of the hall from the elevator. Room is small and cramped, water didn't drain from bathroom sink or tub, and the heater spewed a blast of icy cold air for a good 20 seconds before warming and it was right next to the table where I was trying to work at my computer !!! The location is great for historical sites; but there's got to be better in the neighborhood !!!

So you can't judge a book by its cover, but you can judge what your hotel stay will be like when you check in at the front desk. Paula was working the front desk and greeted me as if I were a long lost friend. I had a problem with my reservation, but Paula remained patient and professional while investigating. She was able to help me as well as other guests and really treated me like a valued guest. Outstanding customer service and very much appreciated. I hope she is working the front desk... Read more

I'd give them a 6 if I could. This is now my third stay at this location. Room was impecable, functional and spacious, meals were very good. But the staff.... that's what made the grade. Exceptional teamwork. The entire staff shoots for " 5 for 5" every day of the week and during this stay, each and every individual delivered me a 6. A special shout out to Paula at the front desk who made a midnight arrival, exceptional each and every night of my stay. Absolutely Golden. Thank you all, I... Read more

Funny check in staff. They let me use their personal cork screw. Regular styles hotel rooms, clean carpets, linens, average bedding and industry standard pillows. Not sure what people expect. It's a moderately priced hotel, in the middle of two tourist locations. If you want your butt kissed real good and you want all kinds of dumb stuff go stay someplace else.

My stay at Wyndham was excellent. If ever in the Philadelphia area again I will definitely stay here and recommend other guests here as well. The staff and hotel were A+. The only thing I didn't like was paying for parking but over all my stay was excellent.

The morning of check out (11 AM)? The cleaning staff began knocking on the door at 9:15, we were not ready to leave yet. They checked again in 10 minutes and then in 8 minutes. I found that annoying.

Location couldn't be better, within easy walk of Independence Hall and other attractions. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Decor pleasant, rooms comfortable, bathrooms new ans clean. Only problem was a VERY noisy HVAC fan and heat difficult to control. Also the restaurant could use a healthier, more varied menu; wait staff worked hard to customize some dishes for a vegetarian guest.

I stayed here on a business trip and was very pleased with the hotel. They are very accommodating and nice. Great location for touring the old city, in walking distance to lots of great things. Nice restaurant and bar inside the hotel.

Not gonna lie. I love cemeteries. So I was very pleasantly surprised when I looked out the window of my room at this hotel and saw this historic graveyard right behind the hotel. Little did I know that it was pretty much one of the most important and historic cemeteries in the city ... including the final resting place of Benjamin Franklin. But I didn't even know that going in. I just wanted a hotel that was central to all of the really important historic locations in Philadelphia and I wanted ... Read more

Was a great stay at a location near the heart of philly. Would gladly stay here again. Within walking distance of many fine historical locations and the Hard Rock Cafe.
