There is construction outside the hotel right now, which might be an issue if you wanted to sleep in. Love Park down the block is also under construction, which has displaced a number of homeless people, some of whom are sleeping outside the building next door. Other than that, the location is terrific -- it's near various types of public transport. Cabs and tour buses also come by the hotel very often, but you can walk to many locations, like Rittenhouse Square and Reading Terminal Market. The ... Read more

Loved the idea the kitchen and separate bedroom. Walk in closets is a super plus. Service and staff were excellent. The only problem I encountered was that the pullout bed in the living room got stuck after being pulled out and I had to call for help to return to couch position. So my daughter just slept on the couch without pulling it out. All staff were extremely courteous and helpful. Would return again.

Stayed here last week during my work trip to Philadelphia. The lobby is nice and clean, but the front desk seems to be using some old technology for check-in. Got to my room which was huge with a king bed in the bedroom and another entire room with a couch, chair, dining table, and full mini kitchen. Not sure if this hotel is used for long term stays, but it would appear that way. 3 Giant walk-in closets? However, the bathroom was quite small. The bathroom is where the housekeeping issues were. ... Read more

My daughter's wedding was in Philadelphia and family and friends from across the country stayed here. We loved the large, clean well maintained rooms and the hotel itself is well located near historic sights, restaurants, and museums. Parking is expensive but that's often the case in cities. Staff were extremely accommodating and helpful.

I spent the weekend at The Windsor Suites as part of a staycation in Philly for my 30th birthday. The staff is amazing. They went above and beyond to be accommodating. They even sent up a cupcake and a handwritten note to wish me a happy birthday. The suite was roomy and so comfortable we were sad to leave. I would highly recommend the Windsor Suites to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient stay in Philadelphia!

The hotel was very clean, and the staff was excellent - always willing to help with whatever we needed. We stayed during a college visit with Penn, and took advantage of the Windsor / Penn relationship. I can't say enough positive things about the hotel and staff. The balcony was a bonus! I will definitely stay at this location in the future.

The hotel was very nice with great rooms that were spacious and comfortable. The customer service provided by Traci at the front desk was welcoming and she was very informative about getting around in the area. She was also a delight to chat with. When we identified two things missing in the room she took care of the inconvenience. Would definitely stay at this hotel again. Our room was very quiet and did not hear any noises from the hallway or outside when the sliding doors were closed.

Yes, we are dummies/hicks who should have known better. But when you add 1/4 the price of the room for someone to move your car a couple floors up( there is no where to park on street), it needs to be made clearer for the consumer, on the bill, in hotel emails and on tripadvisor. This was the end of our 2-week trip, and every other place we stopped had free parking ( if you were staying there), valet or no. I enjoyed every aspect and every moment of my stay at the Windsor Suites in Philadelphia, PA. This is absolutely the fanciest hotel I have ever stayed in, and the entire staff was extraordinary. I had a great drive there but once I got into the city and got lost in construction, I called the hotel and Brandon very patiently guided me with directions I could understand as an out-of-towner. When I arrived at the hotel, I showed up in jeans and a t-shirt after 9 hours on the road. I was not a pre... Read more

After of couple of days looking where to stay in Philly for a night, we came across the windsor suites... After checking some reviews on trip we decide to give a shoot... My wife was so happy with the selection, the hotel is right in the middle of everything, we did the rocky steps, couple of museums, one liberty observatory, and many more stuff because of the hotel location, the room was so big... Clean, the bed was so good. TV was nice. It Seems small because the room are so big. Check in was ... Read more

We recently stayed at this suites hotel in downtown Philadelphia. The rooms were spacious, well designed and clean. It also had a full kitchen which we used to sample food we bought at Reading Market. Efficient and amiable staff.

The rooms are very spacious and clean, they were actually equipped like an apartment. Hotel staff was very helpful and the location was great for the conference I attended at the Franklin Institute. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

It is in a good location walking distance from downtown Philadelphia, average rooms definitely not what is shown in the pictures on their website, there is everything you need in the suite plus washing machines on each floor, great service. If you are counting on sleeping on the sofa bed or a rollaway bed it is not a good idea, the sofa bed has a very thin mattress, the roll away bed is an uncomfortable air mattress. If they didn't change our suite to a 2 bedroom suite, we would have moved to an... Read more

We needed to stay downtown for the Rock n Roll races. This location was perfect: Valet parking, walking distance to the PA Convention Center for packet pick-up, restaurants everywhere, and close to the starting line on race day. Museums are right down the street. Perfect! The staff was so attentive and really nice. We will be back for our next race for sure.

My wife and I were double booked at the Sheraton and because I have a non traditional job (market researcher for MTV) and was wearing street clothes they denied our reservation. However, I called the Windsor at 1:30am to last minute get a reservation and Thomas at the front desk not only honored their $133 a night reservation but he also took pity on us and upgraded us to a two room suite. I can not thank him and the hotel enough for giving us a wonderful stay in the city of brotherly love. I re... Read more

Located in the centre of modern Philadelphia, the Windsor Suites offers a very pleasant and comfortable accommodation, on walking distance of all renowed Philly museums. Valet parking and check-in/reception are absolutely adequate and very friendly, and the apartment has all amenities you expect - only lacking a washing machine, but there is a shared one on every floor. The roof top swimming pool looks more promising than it is. There is a restaurant as well as pub on the ground floor, which is ... Read more

After much searching and reading of reviews online, I decided to opt for The Windsor Suites. We were warmly welcomed by front of house staff and prior written requests were met (I had asked for a raised toilet seat). The room was large and spacious with a very well equipped and useful kitchen and the bed was very comfortable. Coffee and bottled water was replaced each day which was a very welcome bonus. Restaurants and bars were conveniently located on the ground floor, as well as many others w... Read more

This hotel is absolutely amazing. A mid-size boutique hotel which is very warm and inviting. We arrived on a very hot Sept. afternoon and there were 2 jugs of complimentary refreshments for guest. We were greeted by the friendly desk attendants who check us in. Before going up to our room, we decided to go to the store and asked to leave our luggage. Eric, the doorman/bellman was only too happy to take our luggage and store for us until we arrived back to the hotel. Angela Green, Reservati... Read more

For a few nights this is perfect. The suites have everything you need and the beds are so comfortable. Really decent priced and well located this is a must if you are visiting Philadelphia. Staff are all helpful and the hotel lobby is very nice. The adjoining Irish pub isn't too bad for breakfast either.

As first time visitors to Philadelphia, we needed a hotel that was near the city centre and offered suite accommodations. The Windsor is well-located, our room was very comfortable, spacious and well-equipped, and all the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. It was a good choice.

Loved our stay at the Windsor! It started off with us not being able to actually get to the hotel because of road closures... After asking 2 police officers who basically shrugged at us, we call the hotel and got Traci at the front desk, she talked us in, and when we had to actually take an "unconventional" route, she walked outside and WAVED US IN!!! That, my friends, is Customer Service. Great location for the hotel, rooms are very spacious, a whole kitchen, clean, friendly. Can't wait ... Read more

We had quite a large room with a separate walk-in wardrobe (big enough to lie down in) and kitchen. Which made it slightly odd that the bathroom was quite compact. On the 9th floor at the back, it was very quiet with efficient AC, but the decor was a little tired in places (marks on the chairs, walls etc). The Hotel itself is nicely located being within walking distance of most of downtown Philly (the Museum of Art to the west, the Penitentiary to the north and the Liberty area to the east). The... I had the pleasure of conducting a business meeting in Philadelphia this past week. I operate a sizable business in Fenton, Michigan and needed to find some rest after my meetings. I waited to make sleeping arrangements based on how my meetings ran, needless to say, I waited too long. I ended up staying at this property and had the pleasure to be checked in by Brian. I debated for a while on hotels for our recent work trip to Philadelphia. I ended up being very pleased with the Windsor Suites. The location is excellent for exploring Philadelphia by foot. The Museum District is a mere five minute walk (somewhat tricky with road construction, but very doable). Also very walkable to Reading Terminal, Rittenhouse Sq. and the historic areas. We didn't make it all the way down to Fish Town, but will do that on our next visit. Now for the hotel itself: The lobby is... Read more

We were overbooked at another hotel and they moved us to The Windsor Suites. What a bump up for us! This place is awesome, huge huge rooms, kitchen and location was perfect. The staff had to be the friendliest I've ever encountered. We stayed an extra day and night. Price was unbelievable for what we go. I will definitely go back to Philadelphia and wil stay at Windsor Suites.

Very friendly staff, nice, clean and very spacious rooms. Also a very good location, close to both the art museums and the historical centre of the city. You can do practically everything walking. A subway station is very close as well though. Highly recommended! I had dinner in the Irish Pub located in the hotel. The food was good, but not great. Fair quality/price ratio though.

We arrived in the morning, the room wasn't ready, which we expected, so they kept our luggage in a locked room. The staff was extremely friendly. They gave us water, called for a courtesy shuttle to a hop on hop off tour that we were going on & they arranged transportation to the airport for the following morning. When we checked in, the room was bigger than expected. Laundry service on every floor. You're getting the equivalent to an apartment if you stay here. We've lucked out on the hot... Read more
