Westin Philadelphia is a nice hotel, clean hotel with comfortable rooms, good central location, but often on the high end of the price scale, often too high for Philadelphia. On the occasions when I have stayed there, I enjoyed the nice rooms and the hotel is very quiet for a city hotel.

I miss the old wood-paneled Ritz Carleton, but the new design is modern and comfortable. I did not stay here but came for a conference, which was very well-done except for parking of $35 a day in the public lot next to the hotel; it was even more in the so-called hotel lot. I realize the garage is now separate from the hotel in ownership, but egads, can't they arrange for some kind of partnership so if you are staying here or attending something, there is SOME discount? They know they have you, ... Read more

I and my traveling companion had an ok experience here -- great location, nice-sized room, the usual comfortable Westin bed. And I was very impressed with the women's locker room at the small but functional fitness center -- it includes a real working sauna (the refrigerated towels are a nice touch), and is spotlessly clean. The same, however, could not be said for the rooms. I had read a couple of previous reviews complaining about this, so I checked out the first room I was given pretty carefu... Read more

We had a wonderful experience (first time at the Westin Philadelphia). Oscar at the front desk was outstanding - helpful, made our stay much easier / better with our 3 young children. He really went above and beyond. Great experience in the hotel restaurant. Excellent location. Loved walking to Rittenhouse Square. We will be back!

I just came back from a short stay at the Westin. I felt compelled to write a review so others could judge fairly before booking. The Westin is a beautiful hotel. I have no complaints whatsoever on the place itself. It looks luxurious, is beautifully decorated and has an excellent location. Only reason I have to give this hotel 3 stars is : housekeeping and night staff. I have been to so many hotels (3 to 4 stars in general) and never experienced such bad housekeeping. I was expecting the tradit... Read more

Spent two nights at the westin and had a great time. Oscar at checkin was wonderful. As gold members got upgrades to a 1 bedroom suite with adjoining room. Room was clean and comfortable. Huge tv. Water in shower was temperamental. Great location near stores and restaurant. About a 18 min walk to independence hall - very easy. Parking is expensive so parked car about 5 blocks away for a fraction of the cost than liberty place lot. Room service was prompt. Very friendly staff.

I stayed for a week and loved every minute of it. Beautiful in all ways. Restaurant and bars were great and rooms were fantastic. Walkable distance to everything as well. I would definitely recommend.

Yet another Westin that doesn't seem to realize that guests use their cell phone as an alarm clock and will need to simultaneously charge the device at the nightstand. It almost 2017. Hampton Inns have figured this out and 95% of the time have a multi-plug outlet or USB port on the nightstand. Sometimes both nightstands. Seriously, this is an easy one to get right, SPG! Other than this, the hotel was fine.

Everything about the stay was very nice, the room was spacious, the staff was all incredibly kind. The only complaint I have would be that upon checkout I was assured by the woman at the reception desk that I had no additional charges, yet after leaving I noticed my card had been charged an additional $100, I was never informed of any additional charges and if this is a standard fee it should have been mentioned to me by the receptionist instead of being a surprise later.
