This is the old Four Seasons hotel and it feels a bit dated. For a hotel that is selling itself as a higher-end property, it has a very long way to go on service. I'm not going to get into it all of it, but to say at this price point there are many better options in Philly. One thing I will say is we went to their new rooftop bar for a nightcap. We had a wedding party in the hotel. We get up to the bar and there is a bouncer at the door who says can't go in. Getting ready to make last call in ... Read more

Good room space- well maintained common areas and very reasonably priced breakfast in restaurant. Service was extremely courteous at all levels- bellhops; doorman, front desk, waiters etc. Walking distance to most attractions. Access to rooftop lounge was rather restrictive even for hotel guests and that put the rating down from "excellent"

The Logan Philadelphia, formerly The Four Seasons hotel is a very nice hotel. We stayed here during the memorial holiday weekend. The location is great , there are restaurants , the hotel is inspired by local historians, there is Art throughout the hotel. The suite was very spacious , it had a separate bedroom and a living room with sofa bed, perfect for a families. Amtrak, 30th street station is 6 mins by taxi. I have an upcoming stay at the Logan. I called the hotel tonight with some questions about my stay, that I couldn't find on their website. My reservation was booked through a third party site. The hotel hadn't charged my credit card but the reservation was showing as "confirmed." The first call to the hotel, someone answered and promptly disconnected. I immediately called back. The operator quickly transferred me. I spoke to a representative named Linda. Before I could ask my question, Linda ... Read more

We went while the hotel was a Four Seasons, just before the renovation to The Logan. We could definitely tell that the property needed a facelift and rebranding - the rooms were dated (think 80's gold fixtures and heavy drapes) and the hotel was pretty empty - but we were still happy with the location, views over Logan Square, and friendliness of all the staff. We look forward to coming back and experiencing the hotel in its new form as a boutique Curio Collection destination.

Very pleasant. No problems at all. The hotel was clean and attractive. The staff could not have been nicer. Very handy location. I would be happy to stay there again in the future. I think the beds were actually the most comfortable i have come across at any other hotel we have stayed in.

Our first visit to Philly and loved it. We checked out Tripadvisor reviews and that led us to The Logan. Great location. Fabulous staff - especially enjoyed meeting Marisa who checked us in and took care of us our whole stay. The rooms and lobby areas are beautiful. The Urban Farmer restaurant/bar was not only convenient but exceptional. Nice happy hour! Bottled water in room and at front desk was a nice touch! We look forward to returning to The Logan!

Loved our stay at The Logan. They upgraded us to a room overlooking Logan Circle, which was terrific. Restaurant was great for breakfast and lunch. Had drinks on the rooftop bar "Assembly", it has a great view, but drinks are pricey. There was a gym and spa with indoor pool. Gym was fine, but wish there was a jacuzzi. Overall a phenomenal experience.

This was an excellent hotel. The location is good for tourist sites and can easily walk into the city. The hotel is very large and our suite was as far from the elevator as could possibly be, this might have been an issue if you are older individual (not really a criticism but this comes with such a large hotel!). the room itself was very well decorated. Im not sure when it was renovated, but it has been done well with nice fittings. The bed is comfortable and the room quiet. The suite we h... Read more

We could not have been happier with our stay at The Logan. The front desk staff was great, and came through with a Diamond upgrade. The decor is lovely and eclectic, both in the public spaces and in our suite. Meals at Urban Farmer were awesome, and the view from Assembly (rooftop lounge) can't be beat. Overall, the location is outstanding. Perfect for a holiday weekend escape.

Great location! Everything you'd expect from a hilton and more. Great service - the staff is available via text to answer questions! Thats a really awesome touch. You can also check in 48 hours in advance. The only thing I wished we had was slippers. Urban farmer is nice. The only feedback I have is the hotel has some external places like the rooftop and restaurant. The nicest thing we can say is the hotel was clean. The stay wasn't bad but not good. Nothing special just average. It is in a good location that's why we booked this hotel. The assembly rooftop lounge was over rated we expected It to be more than it was. However we did love the wine list and the view.

I booked through hilton honors and stayed here two nights for july 4th weekends because someone recommended me to stay. Overall, I liked the hotel except for the limited pool facility because I thought I was freeze to death there and inconsistent hours of rooftop lounge because I was sent away by door man. This hotel has good size of pool but has no jacuzzi or any place to get heat at all at their spa and fitness facility. Since the pool temp is not warm enough, (at least for me), I was shive... We stayed at the Logan from the 4th of July through the 8th. My boyfriend was in town for a performance for the Wawa Welcome America and was booked at the Logan from the 3rd through the 5th. Although we had another hotel booked, he said that he thought it was nice and liked the location so we changed hotels. The rate that we received was decent for the time-frame and the location. I'm a loyal Marriott guest and have stayed at the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown and decided to give The Logan a try. Its a nice property located right off Logan Circle and a $5 cab ride from the train station. Service was nice and liked the L'Occitane bath products. The highlights of the hotel is Urban farmer and the Assembly Rooftop Bar. We are a retired couple who wanted to visit the Barnes Collection in its new location.Hotel location was perfect and we were able to walk everywhere. Staff very helpful in responding to all our needs. Our king sized bedded room was roomy and comfortable and hotel restaurant quite good. Because of the outside heat (90"s) we ate in more often than we anticipated and had really good breakfast and lunch. Very good experience and would stay here again.

I was originally in another highly rated hotel and moved after seeing mice running about in the room. My son and I presented ourselves close to 10 PM to the desk staff and they welcomed us warmly and got us into a fantastic room with incredible views of the Art Museum and Logan Circle. We stayed for three nights in early July and had a great time. The halls were nice, the artwork pleasant and the room was perfect for us. Simple elegance. The Urban Farmer was the highlight of our stay and breakfasts were unusually good. Try their homemade English muffins. Bellhops didn't bring in luggage. I had to send my family to fetch our bags from the luggage cart when we saw that they were abandoned on the sidewalk. Room was gorgeous until we discovered that the shower door was off its rail, curtain wouldn't open, and balcony door was nearly impossible to open. Room service orders come in brown paper shopping bags and clear plastic toped containers (similar to restaurant take out), complete with plastic utensils. For those that enjoy a breakfast or other meal in your room, this is an uncomfortable and really strange presentation. We stayed at the hotel one night when we were in town for a concert. The hotel has a great contemporary style and it's apparent it's been recently renovated by professionals. When I heard the old Four Seasons was renovated I thought it would be a very positive thing. It is not. The lobby is nice and modern, but the rooms are sub-standard as is the service. It was a very nice stay! We went for the Made in America festival so we needed a place that was close to Ben franklin parkway and would allow us to be loud at times (we tend to play music while we get ready to go out). But the room was nice. We were in a room that could be joined to another room so we could here the family talking next door at times but it may be more privacy in a detached room. Our room overlooking Logan Square was also nice -- relatively large and comfortable (although the couch is kind of difficult to sit on). We also really enjoyed our breakfast at Urban Farmer. Okay. This is a nifty place and much classier than its neighbor across the street, the Embassy Suites Hotel. We were very well treated, warmly greeted, allowed early entry, efficiently dispatched to our room, and actually given a suite with a view of the parkway. What's to complain about? Well, the color scheme for starters. There is so much black that it's downright funereal. I mean do the pictures on the walls have to be black (& white) also in addition to the shades of grey that dominate the ... Read more

The Logan Philadelphia is a fantastic hotel. It is in a great location, close to many historical sites and a great shopping area. My room had a stunning view of the Logan square and the staff members were all knowledgeable and helpful in offering assistance with every little query. The onsite restaurant, the Urban Farmer serves the most divine Blue Crab omelet and the service there was excellent. I definitely recommend the Logan Hotel to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Philadelphia.

Very good and comfortable rooms. Fine restaurant on ground floor serving good food on china with stainless utensils and proper glassware. BUT HORRIBLE ROOM SERVICE: the same food from the restaurant is brought to room in paper shopping bag in Styrofoam containers with plastic utensils! Disgusting. Will never stay there again, though other aspects of hotel were good.

This a lovely hotel located on Logan Square right off the Ben Franklin Parkway in Philadelphia. Within walking distances of all the popular Center City shops, bars and restaurants, we really enjoyed our stay here. The room was comfortable and well appointed. The staff was excellent and room service even brought up ice and olives for us at no charge.

When checking in on Friday afternoon, we explained to the front desk person that if at all possible, we'd be needing a late check-out on Sunday in that we were in the city to participate in the Rock n Roll Half Marathon. We were told that that would be no problem and it would be easy to extend our time until 1:00 and perhaps 1:30 depending on how the day looked on Sunday. Before leaving for the race, we reminded the front desk person (a different woman than the one who'd checked us in) and were ... Read more

We stayed here for four nights and the beginning of September and really enjoyed our stay. When we arrived the hotel was manic as the Made in America festival was on but we were told that the front desk would call us when our room was ready. This did not happen unfortunately and we had to go back to the desk a couple of times to check. When we did get into our room it was very spacious and had a great view of Logan Square. I had stayed at this place before, but this was my first time back after the renovation. Don't let the outside fool you, the inside is lovely. They did a bang up job with the renovation, including the art work. I stayed in one of the suites. It was a huge room - foyer, living room, desk, French doors to the bedroom, dressing area, etc. Everything you could ask for in a luxury property. It's right in the museum district and therefore convenient for tourists. The in property restaurant and... Read more

Amazing property and restaurant. Rooms and accommodations are superb but the service and employees are so top notch I'll never stay anywhere else while in Philly; thanks so much to Leslie and Troy for showing us such an ideal of hospitality! Also, dining (several times a trip) at Urban Farmer is a must while in Philly! The cornbread alone will have you planning your next trip back.

Had stayed at the Logan when it was the Four Seasons many times, and now have been enjoying the Logan since it opened last year after a major renovation. The Logan keeps its place as one of the finest hotels in Philadelphia. The most significant changes are to the lobby and restaurants on the main floor, while the guest rooms have been refreshed. I stayed at this hotel many times over the years when it was the Four Seasons. I always had a nice experience. Things have certainly changed. The renovation is ok. The place is still pretty tired. The staff is friendly. The room service is bizarre in that they hand it to you in a paper bag with your food in plastic tubs with plastic untensils. Located right on Logan Circle, next to the Academy of Science and Franklin Institute. Five min walk to City Hall. Incredible view of the fountains. Quiet location- good sound insulation from street noise. Swimming pool is salt water, so no chlorine. Staff very courteous. One observation is withe concierge- was always "too busy" to help, or not there. Ask the barkeep for directions or change for the train, you get the information! Comfort of the Four Seasons that it was.
