The Inn at Penn is home away from home for parents of visiting Penn/Wharton students. Clean rooms, friendly staff & a great breakfast room. Try to stay in the corner suites. Book well in advance. Check in/room quality can be mixed unless you really follow up. Housekeeping is a trifle careless. However overall the is still the most charming option available. Will miss it now that our son has graduated!

Stayed at this location for a business trip. The location is perfect for meetings on UPenn's campus. However, the staff is unhelpful and rude. The hotel would not even bring hot water to the room. I only recommend this hotel if you are here on business with the university (because of the location only), if not, I highly recommend staying somewhere else.

I was assigned a room that was directly next to the weight/exercise room. I awoke to loud banging against my headboard. It was the weights banging down. They moved me the next night to a quieter room and gave me a discount on my first night stay.

Any savvy traveler knows already that the Inn At Penn is one of the premier hotels in Philly. I just wanted to relate an exceptional experience with regard to a business breakfast I had at the Hotel. We had a group of 22 radio programmers from across the country and I arranged with Daria DiCicco to hold the event at their University Club. She arranged a private room and to my great delight she went that extra mile and made a beautiful handmade sign to direct our guests to the event. Lorraine ... Read more

We rented two rooms for a family visit to Philly and would stay at this location again. Although we were across the river from the historical area we loved being close to the university where we could run, walk and the two young boys could play. The hotel was lovely and the staff was constantly asking how our stay was going. We had a small issue with our TV not working and they sent up an engineer immediately. We stayed at the Inn at Penn on a family visit. The public spaces of this hotel are lovely and the location is excellent. Excellent updated and clean rooms with iPads and top notch room service. The digital key experience was a bit frustrating with my Iphone6 struggling to unlock the door via the Hilton app. After the 6th try, success and was not there long enough to try the key again. If you plan on parking your car, you're better off parking offsite as the valet parking per night may be a bit high for some staying longer than a few days.

I have stayed at the Inn at Penn 20+ times. This last trip we booked a room by the elevator and throughout the night we heard the clanging and random noises from the elevator's cables. Needless to say room location was an issue -- the front desk warned we were by the elevator shaft but didn't share that it would be noisy. Otherwise, the hotel is clean, has a good gym and is in a great location. As long as your room is away from the elevator shaft, the hotel is great!

We've stayed here several times and the service is always above and beyond, the hotel is very clean, and the rooms are spacious. In the summer you certainly get the best pricing at this hotel as opposed to rooms in the downtown area. Therefore depending on the purpose of your visit, this is a great hotel to consider for a weekend trip to the city in the summer. There is just something about the décor and room layout that makes it a very comfortable and relaxing place to stay.

It's a Hilton! Great rooms, close to luxury but with absolutely fair rates. We had a two bed room with two big queen size beds and all thinkable (and even some inexpected) equipements and amenities.
