Hilton was a priority not Hoemwood Suites.... Old Hotel rooms need updating and a good "bath". Taxis were no where to be found and there was no help getting around the area. The location is good but because of traffic and the slowness of the hotel allow 1 extra hot to do anything.

The location makes seeing the historical sights easy, and getting to the town center accessible. Staff handled a hotel full of Penn Relay competitors quite well, making room for all of us, especially with the breakfast being crowded.

I was in town for business, and I was lucky enough to work the night shift. I was able to pick my room, (top floor) to hope to have less noise. I was able to sleep during the day without issue. Very quiet, and the room darkening shade where appreciated. The late breakfast until 9:30 was a welcome addition after a long night. The suite enabled me to have meals at off times. The staff were WONDERFUL so helpful and welcoming!! The parking is down the street, but I did the valet, and the Vale... Read more

Visiting friends who were in for the AIA convention and had the pleasure of experiencing the hospitality of the Staff at the Homewood Suites. From Toni on the front desk to Agnes in the Breakfast room we found everyone to be smiling, helpful and all did their best to make our stay very enjoyable. Although located on the outskirts of town the bus was less than a block away and took us directly to the Convention center and Reading Market in the middle of the City..

Not a nice hotel. Reservation meant nothing, parking awful, bad food, no amenities. Avoid. Our reservation for a two bedroom, two bath suite was given to my brother with the samre last name who arrived before the five of us. No one at the front desk even bothered to check the reservation numbers. We were given two connecting suites with the wrong bed set up and a disgusting handicap bathroom. This hotel has nothing. The food is not good. The common areas are way too small. The Internet will re... Read more

Hotel was clean. Bed was comfortable. Parking I was lucky got spot across the street. I can see how people can make parking an issue. It was quiet. Overall served our family weekend to Philly. Would be better if they had a bar and did t have to go to hilton next door. Parking should have valet at homewood rather than dropping car at hilton to valet.

My boyfriend and I decided at the last minute to spend Memorial Day weekend in Philly and we booked a few hours before we left. Every staff person we encountered was so friendly. Our suite was really nice and stocked with water and snacks. The complimentary breakfast was delicious with a variety of food. The location was amazing and near downtown. We had a great stay!

We travel to Philly regularly to see family. We have stayed at the Hilton Hotel. We decided to try the Homewood Suites. We were very happy: the rooms were larger, the cost was lower, the rooms and hotel were quieter and the complimentary breakfast 90% as good as the Hilton's famous breakfast. We will continue to stay at the Homewood suites rather than the adjoining Hilton.

The Homewood staff really made it feel like home, breakfast spread was impressive, rooms immaculate, and services great. Perfect location - a brief ride to downtown for major tourist attractions and close to local neighborhoods for a more authentic local experience!

The front desk staff was really unfriendly, slow, and uncaring. They were even complaining about another guest being cheap right in front of me! Clearly they don't know about service or even simple manners. The room was also noisy. You can hear the traffic and sirens in the room. And the fire alarm light kept blinking. Made it impossible to fall asleep. Room was really small for a suite.

The best part of this hotel experience is the friendly staff and the desk staff who ensured I had a room when they were sold out and my room became unavailable. Each night was a happy hour/dinner that was complimentary with drinks and good food. The only uncomfortable thing was the parking and very small driveway. I didn't know how to check in and where to park at the start. So, just pulled up in a little U and got the luggage cart. The parking was an empty lot near construction zone with someon... Read more

Stayed at the Homewood Suites on City Line Avenue, for the Philadelphia triathlon weekend. The stay was for convenience only, the hotel is across the street from Belmont Pumping Station which takes water from the Schuylkill at this location and is pumped to the large sedimentation reservoir. Over the last few months I've had to be in Philadelphia frequently for business and stayed in this hotel because of its location and room amenities. The staff at this hotel were really lovely, always smiling and helpful. Hotel food was good and rooms were clean. Our only problem was the room layout and the way it was advertised. I have queried this since last September, when I booked, but even their Head Office didn't want to know and I'm a Hilton Honors member. This hotel is not only not up to Hilton Homewood standards but they gauge a customer with their prices. Just because other hotel are charging this rate doesn't mean you should. Dirty disgusting and the beds are horrible. And good luck on parking. As a single woman having to park in a lot 6 blocks from the hotel late at night was very scary

We were here for a long weekend visit to Philadelphia with our granddaughter. Everything was nice and clean and comfortable. The person at the front desk, however, made us feel at home everyday when we returned from our excursions. I've stayed in a number of Homewood Suites over the years... This location is unfortunately very far behind compared to the others. The staff were consistently friendly, which was great... But the facility itself was awful! The kitchen had caked on grease and old bags left by other guests in the cabinets. The water from the faucet would come out a bit brown/red for a minute, then turn clear... Which is very offsetting. The bed was not very comfortable -- to each their own here, though. I've work...
