Location is the key here. You pay for the ultimate convenience of being within walking distance of stadiums. Closest to citizens bank park. Rooms are heavily used and show wear and tear but I expected that. Comfortable beds, large enough rooms with fridge and microwave. Quiet rooms - never heard any noise from adjacent rooms. Enjoyed the buffet breakfast, perfectly appropriate buffet for 10$. Nice bar/lounge area. Staff is friendly. One parking space is included - if you need another spot it's ... Read more

Traveled to Philadelphia to watch the Nats play the Phillies. Selected this hotel because it was within walking distance to the stadium. Check in was smooth, even a couple of hours earlier than the 4 pm check in time. The room was nice and clean, the Stadium sports bar in th hotel offered good food and cold beer at a very reasonable price.

Hotel is an average Holiday Inn, nothing special. Rooms and common areas were clean and nice. The high rating I give this hotel is for the convenience to the sports complex. We were in town for a concert one night and baseball game the next. Wouldn't stay anywhere else if I go back. Maybe not a family vacation hotel, but terrific for sports, restaurants, and bars easy to walk to.

HI makes a satisfaction promise in their Guest Service Directory that states... "We promise to make it right or you won't py for that part of your stay." The G, Tushar Shah is apparently a gutless coward because he cannot be reached despite trying for 3 days in a row and having no calls returned. Our room was ancient, dirty and the hotel didn't bother to clean or service the room on Sunday despite specific requests to do so and our check out on Monday. This hotel is dirty, falling apart, and expensive and one of the worst I've experienced. Door handles, electric sockets, taps, furniture doors all literally fall off and come away in your hand.Curtains hanging off rails, stained carpets, peeling off wallpaper etc. The food and breakfast buffet is adequate at best. I can imagine that this hotel only survives because of the high prices and the close proximity to the stadiums, but the quality it provides is truly an insult to customers. As an IHG ... Read more

This is a fantastic location if you are going to a sporting event. You can walk to any of the venues and do not have to fight traffic. The hotel has been there for a long time, but they have fixed it up and it is a nice place to stay. The staff is excellent, we needed more towels and they were there in minutes and they checked to see if everything was OK. You are not far from downtown and the parking is free. I would recomentd to anyone headed to see an event.

Went in June 2016 to watch the USA-Paraguay Copa America Centenario soccer match. Although a bit pricey (assuming because of the match), well worth it Pros: - less than 10 minute walk to Lincoln Financial Field (the baseball and hockey/basketball arena are beside it as well) - very friendly staff - free parking - nice outdoor pool - close to highways and about 10-15 minutes south of Philadelphia City Center Cons: - none really. Was a bit pricey but I have no regrets Highly recommended

It came with a microwave, to warm the left over food. Also, in this technology age where every moment is in touch with social network, f... Read more

Stayed four nights here and it really wasn't great. The A/C unit was noisy - we asked for a room change in the first day, but they said they would send a technician. Never heard back from anyone despite asking a few more times. Had to use bandaids to try and keep certain parts together so it wouldn't keep rattling. The shower had no pressure. I don't expect much from hotel showers, but even this one was shocking. The restaurant/bar downstairs was pretty rough - would not suggest stopping in ... Read more

Perfect location if you are catching a Philadelphia Phillies game at Citizens Bank Park. Nice big room with big comfy beds, which was perfect for my 2 brothers and myself. Front desk staff member was very friendly and when she found out we were catching a ball game she gave us a stadium view. We received 2 complementary Starbucks drink coupons that could be used in the small Starbucks in the gift shop. Breakfast restaurant in the lobby was prefect for the morning. Breakfast sandwiches, potatoes ... Read more

My boyfriend and I stayed here this weekend to attend a football game. First of all, this location is perfect for any sports event in the Philly Area! We stayed in a king sized room, very clean and comfortable. The bed was great. Nice and quite! We also had dinner the first night at the bar downstairs. We had appetizers and drinks and it was good. The staff was very welcoming. Id recommend this to anyone coming to the area for a sporting event!

This Hotel isn't the worst place I've been, but it is up there for the price. The hotel had pretty dirty rooms, however, the AC blasted cold. We arrived very late our first night, after midnight, and was put in a room pretty quick. When we opened the door, there was a male laying on the bed watching TV. He jumped up and ran out saying he was in the wrong room, but did not have any luggage. I called the front desk immediately to report the incident. The front desk lady showed up quickly and ... Stayed here on short notice during a Flyers Game. Was amazed that there was availability as I only booked the night before! Plus even at that the rooms were not exorbitantly expensive. The room was quite clean and comfortable. Amenties were sufficient. Got a good night's sleep as well. I would give the most props to its location! It is situated within walking distance from all 4 stadia! Unfortunately I didn't have time to eat breakfast here so I just can't give a rating. Could be persuaded to ... Read more

Had a nice stay for 1 night before flying out. Had some room service that was pretty good. Had the cheese-steak and the wings. Both were solid, the sandwich in particular. Service here is better than average. I would definitely consider staying here again. One room for drastic improvement is plug space on both sides of the bed were terrible. I actually had to move the bed. If everything else wasn't so smooth I would have said something. This is one of the reasons I stay at HamptonInn's more and ... Read more

Staff is always friendly. Rooms clean . Easily accessed from interstate. They could use a little upgrading in terms of the room,i.e; electrical outlets. Obviously a great location, whether for sporting events , which I've done on numerous occasions or for downtown.

My son and I were attending an event at the Pennsylvania Convention Center and made reservations her at the last minute. We found the staff to be very accommodating and the room was clean and comfortable. On site parking made for great security.

The Holiday Inn is directly next to Citizen Bank Park. It's within walking distance to Lincoln Financial Field. Wells Fargo is walkable too, but a little farther. The bars at Xfinity Live are very close too. No need to Uber unless it's cold. The room was very updated and clean. I couldn't hear any hallway noise despite being close to the elevator. We stayed on the 9th floor in a King bedroom. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was clean and updated with tile and marble sink. Ice Machines... Read more

We stayed in this hotel several times and it is going downhill. We have found dirty clothes, empty bottles, dental floss under the bed. Housekeeping is clearly not doing a good job cleaning. We were out of the room for 7 hours and when we returned the room had not been cleaned. 20 minutes later housekeeping knocked on the door and asked if we wanted towels. When I asked why the room was not cleaned I got some lame excuse and told I should have asked for an early cleaning (seriously). The front ... Read more

This review is extremely late but we stayed at the Holiday Inn Memorial Day 2016 for the NCAA lacrosse tournament. I had seen negative reviews but things were great for us. We were able to check in early, they helped us with free parking for a friend who wasn't named in our reservation, and they recommended an awesome sub shop close by. I'd definitely stay here again.

I chose to stay here and pay a little more because of the convenience to Lincoln Financial Field for the Eagles game. Very disappointed that because we checked out the day of the game they charged us $50 to park when the lot across the street was only $40. They could have at least offered a discount to the guests who had stayed there.

Went to performance at Wells Fargo Center 2 weeks ago and made last minute reservations. Had no problem getting a room. This place is within walking distance of all the sports venues which made it nice not to fight traffic after the concert. 1st floor sports bar was just great with food available till very late. Nice hotel and very clean. I'd go again and recommend it to anyone going to South Philly. Had a great view from the 7th floor of Philadelphia's' skyline!
