Walked in to the room and had a musty smell. I happened to open curtain and found out why. Mold all over the window and the room was filthy. Don't waste your time going to breakfast becasue food was cold and staff was busy talking amongst themselves. Really the single worst place I have stayed. I traveled over 150 days last year and that is saying a lot.

Stayed here day before flight home. Good location and easy access to Philadelphia City centre. Receptionist was welcoming and cookies were fab. Sports bar was nice but not enough staff on in the evening. Wouldn't recommend eating in the restaurant as a bit basic and lack atmosphere. Food in the sports bar was far nicer. Avoid room 232 as right next two lift and all a night you can hear the lift pinging when doors open. But overall a good hotel, convenient location and nice staff. Would stay ther... Read more

I am an HHonors member and have stayed at many Doubletree Hotels. I am sorry to say that this has been my worst Doubletree experience ever. The lobby and conference rooms are very hot. There is a loud screeching noise that comes from my toilet when I flush and from the treadmill I used in the fitness center. To get to the fitness center, you have to walk past the pool, and the floor is covered with water, making it dangerous. I was unable to reach room service by phone, so I called the front des... Courtesy bus got us here from teh airport - very close by Speedy check in a cold drinks and cookies handed out for free Our room was like a furnace teh AC was blasting out hot air An engineer arrived quite quickly and fixed it We decided to wait for the room to cool by having drinks in teh bar Big screen to watch the Olympics, reasonable drinks, free popcorn. Did not feel like eating - but what others were eating looked good In the morning we had a swim - small pool but perfectly adequate The br... Read more

I was blown away with my experience from the ambience to the staff! Our check in was very quick and we were blown away by the amazing room. The man working at the podium to the right of the doors was amazing and very friendly and personable. The shuttle driver was also very nice when we forgot something at the hotel and took us back and forth to the hotel.

I stayed at this hotel for a week during a recent convention and overall it screams average. The Hotel guest staff seemed very nice, but I was highly disappointed in the bar and restaurant service and quality - especially for the price. The Breakfast Buffet was very typical, but they seemed to have an abundance of things that did not move - like these terrible bran muffins that had no test - yet the did not have any white toast left any of the 3 days I ate there. The eggs were ok and the ba... Read more

It's absolutely typical for a bog standard US hotel. I'm not sure what the question is to be honest. I's it: Was your room a bit like the 1970s with a brown/green carpet and beige walls with 100% more beds than you wanted and a 1960s air coditioning unit then YES it always is

We arrived early and were told if rooms were available we could check in early. No rooms were available. When it finally reached 3pm check in time, we still were not able to get into a room. I finally got in my room a little after 4pm and I still had family members that didn't get into their rooms until later. That really upset me. Our family has stayed with the Double Tree Hotel chain in the past and never experienced anything like this. Not sure if we'll continue to use this hotel chain for fu... Read more

Here overnight. Nice greeting at reception. Decent room. Comfortable bed with plenty of pillows and nice comforter. Bathroom is sub par. Quality of fixtures ok but shower and bathroom door poor. Entry door damaged wall and not repaired. Ground floor bar was nice but service was very slow

We stayed one night before our early morning flight. We arrived around 8 PM and waited at least 15 minutes before the front desk staff was available to check us in. Left at 6:20 AM and had to wait again to turn in our keys. To top it all off, we paid a little over $12 (discounted AAA rate) to park for the 10 hours. We have stayed here many times in the past, but it might be time to look elsewhere.
