Stayed in May for medical school graduation and very disappointed . First couldn't find reservation, finally given room in disrepair and without "view", finally settled on a nice room..mind you we paid over $300 per night. Next issue attempted to get refund for one night of the stay which we changed with the hotel . We called or stopped by the desk daily and talked to the agent on duty. Location was ideal for our purpose, close to the Cathedral, room was spacious, bathroom was modern and clean. We had 2 issues. One was with the housekeeping. One day Luz cleaned our room and it was perfect! She is truly a gem of a housekeeper! The other housekeepers did not take the time to clean properly. One day we had no toilet paper and had to borrow from another room, then another day we were left with no bath soap, then another day no face towels. The other issue was with our keys which ke... Stayed here for business and thought rooms extremely spacious; bed comfortable, great water pressure. Also nicely located within walking to convention center, restaurants. Parking is valet no self parking ... bit of a cluster getting in and out but survived. They had a pretty good happy hour with snacks but should really start it at 5 pm and have a paying bar open in evenings. Would be nice to sit in lobby and chill instead of leaving to go to hotel across the street. It is attached to TGIF ... Read more

Embassy Suites Hotel is beginning to show it's age. However, front desk staff make up for everything lacking. Professional, friendly staff aim to please. WiFi wasn't working in our room. Front desk staff took our iPad and soon got us on-line. WiFi worked perfectly in lobby area just not in our room for some reason. Location of Embassy Suites is perfect. We had great view. Comfortable room. We were told by front desk staff, the hotel is going to be renovated one floor at a time.

I was happy with my experience at this hotel. The staff was very amiable and ready to help with questions. The room was clean and was very quiet. I enjoyed both the morning breakfast and evening reception. The hotel was convenient to local museums and public transit to travel to other parts of the city.

On the first night of a two night stay and had to write something right away! The front desk, and really all the staff, we interacted with so far have been amazing, so helpful and have made this a really great experience so far. Taffari at the front desk was particularly great. He made sure the kids had their own snack bags, and really made a big deal about their stay at the hotel! Just an excellent job and made it even more fun for them! Room was great as well. Clean and spacious. Will stay aga... Read more

Guest room suites were beautiful and comfortable. All the hotel staff I came in contact with were extremely friendly and helpful. However, at certain times of the day, it is almost impossible to get on an elevator as they are that busy. I know of several guests who walked both up and down 22 floors because they had to be somewhere on time and the elevator never came. Free breakfast is offered and the breakfast once you are able to reach it is good. However, there is no crowd control. Peop... Read more

Everything was great. Only minor complaint was TV waking me up at 2:30 am. If there was a sleep function, I couldn't find it in the remote under and option. The room was huge, staff friendly. Breakfast coffee was disappointing. I suspect the nescafe dispenser gave me instant coffee. It wasn't great. The food was.

This hotel is the best value you will find in Philadelphia. The location was great and within walking distance to many attractions. The free breakfast and free drinks in the evening make this a great value for your money. My only disappointment was that the snacks served during the cocktail hour were very boring and presented in an unappealing manner. But most of us are headed for dinner so we did not bother to eat anything.

Everything was average. Nothing spectacular about the rooms, the service or the food. There was an incident where the electricity went out during the morning when I was trying to get ready. Staff does not seem eager to help, however, that's become acceptable in today's society. Not rude I'm just not exciting to help.

I am very happy to write that I had an exceptional customer experience with a hotel receptionist named Gloria. The reason why the service was exceptional was because I had a problem and I needed another room. First, she listened to my problem and genuinely empathized with my dilemma. She understood my problem and then related my problem to a problem she personally experienced in the past. After she told me her story and it was very similar to mine, I felt that I had someone really working fo... Read more

We had a wonderful first visit to Philly. We would certainly choose to stay at the Embassy Suites again. It is an older hotel but very unique. The kids loved the shape of the hotel...very unique (not your typical Embassy) and the balcony overlooking the city. The beds were comfortable but room a little stuffy hot. Pullout sofa was not very comfortable for the kids. Employees were friendly and helpful and the location is perfect for exploring Philly.

The Embassy Suites prime draw is it's central location. You can walk anywhere from here and if not it is close to public transportation ( a 20 minute walk to 30th Street Station). It is housed in an elegant round apartment building, home to famous people like Wilt Chamberlin, etc. Parking seemed expensive ( $53/night). The rooms were large. Tip: call the front desk ahead of time and ask for a room on a higher floor. It is quieter and the views are excellent.

Stayed for a conference but with a fair amount of time to sightsee. Close to almost everything in the city by walking. Most museums, city hall, convention center, restaurants. And a run to the Philadelphia Museum and up the Steps! And then along the river past boathouse row! Very memorable!

Whenever I visit Phily for business trips, generally I stay here for 2-3 days. The Location is very nice. All the the rooms are pretty big with microwave and refrigerator. Free breakfast in the morning and free alcoholic drinks in the evening. Few cons with this hotel are - Terrible house keeping staff, few time the house keeping staff did not tidy up my room. Terrible maintenance staff - Last time I selected the room via online checkin, when I arrived at the hotel the room lock was broken. Ever... Read more

There is never anyone waiting to help you at the front desk. The elevators are a nightmare, not working, stopping at floors not selected. There are few vegan options at the complimentary breakfast. Housekeeping is a failure. Our room was never dusted nor the bathroom floor cleaned. We always had to ask for clean glasses and washcloths

Third time here. Great location. A little threadbare but still serviceable. Rooms are pizza slice shaped as hotel is an octagon. I'm always suspicious when reviews mention names but Tafferi at the front desk really looked out for us. He suggested itineraries and ideas that we had not considered. There can be a wait for elevators but that was not a problem on this June weekend. The best free breakfast I've had in all my travels. A huge consideration for families.

Dirty sheets, big room, nice view, wanted to be moved to a didferent room but was informed that it may take awhile. It did. We ended up just taking extra ponts and a free move to reaolve the isssue. Not overly bad.

Location was excellent. Nice king bed but the sofa sleeper was not very comfortable for our daughter. Staff was great considering it was completely full hotel. Breakfast was good and staff did a pretty good job trying to keep up with the number of guests. Hosted evening reception had nice selection of light snacks and beer, wine, and well drinks.

Decent hotel. Musty rooms - late maid service. Roomy and efficient for families - especially with fridge and microwave in room. Free breakfast is very crowded. Go early if you don't want to be annoyed. Staff was helpful. Easy access to rooms.

Nice place to but a little over priced in my opinion. Complimentary breakfast was good not great, cook to order omlettes were nice bacon could have been thicker and sausage was mediocre. Complimentary Internet was a nice feature also. Roomy place to stay

We stayed at the hotel across the street on a previous trip to Philly and this time decided to try Embassy suites. Does lack some Feng Shui, or whatever you call it, but I will go back to this Embassy Suites. Museums are all there, or walk a bit more and you are in the heart of early America. We had a great balcony with a spectacular view. For breakfast it was very crowded Saturday at 830 so we waited an hour and no line. My picky 12 year old was happy and I had a good omelet. Feng Sui lacking b... Read more

Great location and room was good sized. Clean and comfortable. More than enough space to enjoy the week. Staff was welcoming, attentive, and efficient. Standard Embassy Suites Breakfast was served in attached Friday's restaurant, so plenty of space to relax. Fitness center was the normal hotel size and amenities. Nice place to stay.

We stayed here for one night and it was a great experience. The location is good and our room had a balcony with views of the Museum and the Rocky steps. The free not desk staffers were very helpful, the room was clean and updated. Great for families.

The hotel was really nice for the most. The staff was very friendly and very helpful and were available at all hours of the night. Complimentary breakfast buffet, and unlimited drinks and snacks for hotel guests from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. The gym is open 24 hours which is a plus, but wasn't a pool in the hotel. The elevators are really small for a hotel that is 25+ floors. Conveniently located in Center City Philadelphia next to the Arts Center and the Franklin Institute Museum, you can't really com... Stayed here to attend a concert at the Mann Center. Room was very large and Hilton Honors rate was great value for our stay. Breakfast had cooked to order omelet bar and all the usual items. Only complaint was the high cost of parking, but researched before we went and there is a flat rate $7 garage for weekends only 2 and a half blocks away, near 15th and Vine. Next to Magee Rehabilitation Hospital. Big signs so it's easy to spot. Totally worth it to save the money over the $53 cost at ... Read more

Rooms never cleaned. Staff rude and front desk had no clue what they were doing. No hospitality whatsoever. Had to beg for clean towels. Breakfast too congested and had to wait for good to be restocked as well as silverware are plates. Our entire family that stayed (we had a block of rooms) that weekend had issues.

Right in the center of everything center city has to offer. The botel is clean and the rooms are comfy. The breakfast buffet and evenung reception are included at no extra charge and are top notch, not the usual apple, yogurt and danish that other hotels offer if thay even offer anything. All these combined will bring me back next time I'm in Philly.

We walked everywhere, we were there for the LDS Temple open house and we were within walking distance . The only downside was the price to park the car, outraged at $50.00 per day, we had also been to New York which was only 30.00 per day. We walked uptown to Macy's as well as several good eating places
