Our rooms were in great shape and very clean. We had a reception and Danielle, the chef, the bartender made a beautiful presentation of the hall and of the food. There was not one person that was not friendly. We arrived around 3:30p, check into our beautiful rooms then went the sports bar for food and refreshments. The bartender (I wish I could remember his name) was friendly. He had never tried fried pickles, I had order them and they were great, so he tried a few with us and enjoyed them... Read more

Stayed here just one night to catch a very early flight the next morning. The hotel lobby was impressive but the room I got assigned to was not up to standard, it was smelly. Overall impression is I don't feel the place is clean and much needed update. Also my room was next to a storage room? Guess some hotel employees kept opening and closing the door. My entire room trembled and heard these loud bangs frequently up until around 11pm at night. I got the late and figured just spending few hours... Read more

Well, I needed a hotel for one night. I landed at 11pm so for what I needed the room for was fine. They have a courtesy shuttle from the airport to the hotel, runs every 15 min. The hot cookie when I got in was great. I did not sleep well, the bed was old and worn, I could feel body prints. The sheets smelled like someone had slept in them or they have not been washed. They smelled "stale" (hope you know what I mean). The shower curtain smelled like old sweat and a dirty gym. (rank smelli... Read more

I stay in hotels at least 3 nights a week and I used to work for a competitor to Hilton/Doubletree in my past career (Starwood) - so I am very aware of the differences between brands and locations, etc... This was the best experience I've had at an airport based hotel. Staff was so attentive, but not fake - it was very clean and quiet and the wi-fi worked wonderful (something I almost NEVER say). Aaron at the front desk is a sweetheart. I highly recommend.

Only had one overnight stay but found it to be really good value. Free shuttle service that runs every twenty minutes to airport. Good breakfast with nice variety. Really helpful staff(but one in the restaurant). Everyone else were an absolute pleasure to deal with. Will defnitely stay again and recommend to friends and family.

As a Hilton Honors member & my go-to hotel when in Philly, I expect some level of service. Average service would have been appreciated. Given a room on an "exclusive" HH floor, the room was poor. The bed was so old, it sunk in the middle. Mattress needs to be replaced.( don't stay in room 619). Room service knocked on the door the next morning just after 8am to ask if she can clean the room! We were still sleeping! We told her to come back in an hour. When we returned around 4pm, the room was st... Read more

We were at this hotel for a family reunion this past weekend. The hotel is large as it never seemed crowded with two reunions happening at the same time. I was expecting a clean updated hotel. However, after the cookies this hotel is mediocre at best. The room wasn't very clean. One of the bed skirts in our room had holes in it. The toilet seat needed to be replaced. Very friendly staff. If arriving late and looking for a meal, choices are very limited. There is a bar that is very comfortable and serves bar type foods a little later into the evening (after 10 p m ). Parking can also be an issue when arriving late. The self park lot was close to full and if you do not want to do valet services, it can be a short distance to drag luggage. Due to unexpected flight delays, I was stranded in the PHL airport. I went online and found this nearby hotel. The pick-up service from the airport was super prompt, and the van driver was really pleasant. The front desk gal was really fast and nice. The room was sparkling, the bed & bath were great. In the morning, I went downstairs and just as they'd told me- their shuttle arrived within 20 minutes. If you are stuck at PHL, I would highly recommend this hotel.

I loved the cleanliness and the beauty of the Hotel, although a bit overpriced. My room wasn't ready when I got there and I had to wait an additional 30-45 minutes to get a room. I was given complimentary breakfast passes which was great because a Buffet breakfast was $17.00 (too high). For the price that I paid for a room at this hotel you would expect a peaceful room. The walls are paper thin, I was awaken by the occupants in the room next door taking a shower which was louder then someone taking one in our own room. We could also hear the person in the other room next door snoring. I was also disappointed that they charge for parking. I guess they try to distract you from this by offering free cookies when you check in.

We got stuck in an adjoining room which held tenants who continued to smoke and every time they lit a cigarette the smell would trail into our room and caused all 4 of us to have headaches, stuffy noses, and weren't able to sleep. In town for my mom's birthday party and the location was fine , the breakfast was so so. Overall stay was fine.the 12.95 parking sucks, paid $10 a day for a fridge??? No microwave in room. Honors guests gold and diamond had their own floor, that was very nice

They didn't state they charge $10 for parking - restaurant food was awful and way over priced. Server was not good and they would tell you one thing and change what they said to another guest. We were very disappointed

The location was good, close to the airport with a shuttle that ran every 20 minutes around the clock. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. The kids also enjoyed swimming in the pool

Excellent staff, and comfortable accommodations. Love the free Wi-Fi. Would definitely recommend. Pretty good value. Airport location is convenient. Very nice hotel, and front desk personnel were very friendly.

Not recommend, the hotel is too old, rooms are not clean, food at restaurants, both breakfast and dinner, tastes were terrible and over-priced. Services are good in general, but didn't like the atmosphere of old hotel inside. Restaurants' sanitary situation on beverage glasses, silverwares, and dishes didn't look clean.

Working in the hospitality industry I feel like I'm more sensitive to poor service. That was not the case when we checked in. The valet supervisor was great, front desk staff, and housekeeping. Just came to visit for a quick wedding in NJ. Super close to the airport, easy commute to NJ, and close to what I imagine considered "downtown". We would definitely comeback and stay here.

This is a typical airport hotel, but when you're paying as much money as they charge and you don't even receive a continental breakfast, that's frustrating. And in today's world, it's nice to have non-dairy milk options with the coffee/tea service.

We typically stay in the Embassy Suites when traveling. I have never stayed in a Double Tree before and booked a room on a whim while visiting Philly for a USA Gymnastics event for my daughter. We did have an issue with the first room, but they gave me a new room quickly. We like to use the digital keys and use a side entrance and go straight to our rooms rather than go through the lobby. However, I would say it works out better to just check in at the front desk as you miss a lot of things ... Read more

This is as good of a value as you can expect in Philadelphia and this is generally my first choice when I visit. I am disappointed that they started charging ($10) for parking, but that still is way cheaper than you would pay in central city. It is a short drive to downtown.

Stayed for business and to get to the airport early the next day. When checking in they had the company credit card on file but not an authorization to charge it. While I tried to sort things out with my company, I felt like they thought I was trying to pull something over on them and that I was causing them an inconvenience. I ended up charging a personal card and was handed my key, but did not get any of the information that others got at check in - "info on the airport shuttle, info about the... Read more

I have been a Hilton Honors member for a couple of years now. My friend and I decided to see the Philadelphia city over the weekend before Thanksgiving this year. We left some cash in our room in a wallet inside the suitcase and went to explore the city. When we got back in the evening the cash was missing. While we mentioned this to the guest service manager, the first thing she said she cannot give a refund back without investigation. She didn't even apologize! Couple of hundred dollars is not... The DoubleTree by Hilton Philadelphia Airport needs a major renovation! The rooms are noisy, the restaurant or bar didn't take credit cards, the hallways were generally dirty! The only thing keeping me from rating this a one was a very friendly and helpful staff!

This hotel is absolutely beautiful, inside and out! Every single staff member is extremely pleasant and very helpful. We wanted some cake that was on the menu and they did not have it, only pumpkin flavored pies. The lady who was our attendant was adamant to make it better. She went and found a slice of cake that was NOT pumpkin and brought it to us. We thought it was extremely nice if her to do that. We did not ask for it she just did it! So nice!

Selected this hotel because of proximity to airport and availability of parking. Arrived late but our room was ready. Regular transportation to the airport every 20 minutes was convenient, fast and reliable. Staying at this hotel made it easy to take a very early am flight.

Last week Nov 18-20th my family and I checked in with Utica's football team. As Parents of a team member, we travel and tailgate almost every game they have. Upon arrival, I met the sparky Eddie, the Valet Supervisor and might I say he was AMAZING!! First off he was from NY and had moved here only recently as I could hear his accent still fresh! He definitely made us feel like we never crossed the state line. His trusty staff Dont'e was just as helpful, offering information about food and places... Read more

This hotel should be renovated and Hilton should remove there brand. I have nothing good to say. Every aspect of my experience was daunting from the smell to the stains on the sheets and rug. When I booked the room I specifically asked when the hotel had been renovated I was told 2014 that can't be true. Cracks, stains and odor is what you can expect .

Being close to the airport with a shuttle service, restaurant and bar it should be ideal for small meetings. However, the food is basic and the wait time for a busy businessman is totally unacceptable. The equipment provided for our meeting was below an acceptable standard and the rooms a bit dated. corridors are tired and both carpet and wallpaper need to be replaced.

Good airport hotel for those catching early morning flights. Excellent 24/7 shuttle service, and others told us of good long term parking deals. Very quiet as no airplane noise was heard at all. Staff is very professional and courteous.

This was my first time here and I was very impressed. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. The meeting rooms were awesome and the banquet food above par for a large hotel. The food at the bar was excellent and the breakfast buffet was very good with lots of choices

Rooms were decent however, hotel did not include complimentary breakfast/coffee and free parking. Rooms did not have mini-fridge or microwave. Which bates you to pay high-cost for dinner or breakfast.
