Club Quarters is our go-to hotel in Philadelphia. It is close to the best restaurants, shopping, museums, and nightlife in the Rittenhouse Square area. Staff members take extra care with guests, especially Anthony Williams, who made sure that our parking ticket was validated upon checkout. It is a truly welcoming place in the City of Brotherly Love!

Very noisy! My room was next to the bar and it was so noisy I couldn't sleep. It felt Like I was in the bar. I could hear everything! I complained twice and they gave me ear plugs and camomile tea. My last night they offered to move me to their smallest room but I was checking out the next morning. Will not stay there ever again. The location was good but there was no place to unload my luggage so I had to park on the next block and bring my luggage to the hotel (I had 3 suitcases with me and I... Read more

My girlfriend and I spent a night here recently and could not possibly find anything negative to say. Ann-Marie and Michael took care of us after accidently selecting the wrong trip dates and showing up a week early for check in ( lol) They were both patient and understanding towards our situation and encouraged us to stay in the lobby until we decided what to do. The following morning, Matina tended to our checkout and went out of her way to ensure we had a good experience , escorted us to the ... Read more

Very good location in the Rittenhouse neighborhood but the streets are very noisy at night making it difficult to really sleep. The staff were attentive and helpful. There is discounted parking across the street with Parkway Parking. The rooms were a good size. Clean. Well stocked.

Pros: 1) Excellent location for sightseers, friendly and helpful front desk staff (the woman who helped us may have been named Ann Marie, and she was great, with one caveat under the "cons" section). 2)Near a great restaurant, The Dandelion. 3)Great rate via Expedia (non-refundable), which a lot of people seemed to be using that Memorial Day weekend. Since it's a business traveler's hotel, I suspect that you can get good rates on holiday weekends. Cons: 1)Small rooms, if you care about that.... Read more

I stayed at the club quarters last week and was town for business...I was greeted at the front desk by Milton and his manager ..service was prompt, swift and very friendly. I was unsure of food and gyms in the area and Milton went above and beyond. It is always a pleasure to stay here. This is an attractive establishment, situated in downtown Philadelphia with practically everything within walking distance. Rooms are comfortable and quiet. The restaurant serves a tasty breakfast, with a good range of choice. It is also a popular dinner choice with residents and non-residents alike. It all adds up to an enjoyable experience and great value. I'll be back soon.

We were on the 11th floor, so mostly quiet except for 1 noisy group on Sunday evening which they took care of nicely. The room was very small--really too small for 2 adults. I have stayed at CQ before and had much more space. The hair dryer overheated and had to be shut off cooled and restarted later--a real inconvenience. Front dest staff was very helpful and responsive to our questions.

At first, I wasn't sure because the entrance is not much to talk about, but once you get to the 2nd floor lobby it is very impressive. The receptionist, Feliesha made sure my check in was smooth even through I arrived early. The room was clean and the view was great. I ordered extra towels and ice from the front desk and received it right away.

The best part of this hotel is its proximity to shopping and restaurants - so many options and it appears to be in a safe area of town. There's a Rite Aid right next door for necessities. The front desk staff were very nice and helpful. The room itself was fairly clean and had a mini fridge, microwave, and keurig. The only problem I experienced with this hotel was the attitude at the front desk. Let me start by saying that this review refers to only 2 out of 4 people that we saw working at the reception desk during our stay. These people worked different shifts but were rude and very fake. In one instance we requested a room change, and although the concierge accommodated us he gave us some nasty looks in the process and a mean comment when we asked how long it would take. Our experience at Club Quarters Hotel in Philadelphia was excellent. It was only an overnight but we were extremely satisfied. The location is supurb with shoppes all around and a dunkin on the corner. The room was small but it was clean and comfortable. The staff was extremely helpful with checking in and out and also very kind. We will definitely be staying at Club Quarters in the future whether it is in Philadelphia or elsewhere. The room was a normal hotel room with everything we would need- my husband and I aren't the type to sit around the room. Such a convenient location, virtually everything is walkable! Clean. Gym was fine as well. Highly recommend this hotel!

There are fancier places, of course, but this place impressed me a lot with what was offered, for a reasonable price. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. The location is good, and the hotel has some nice bonuses like free water and free guest laundry (even though everything comes out damp). Excellent location and in general a good hotel. The staff were always happy to help by giving directions or advice. The free water bottles and coffee in the lounge were a very nice touch. I stayed on the 8th floor and the entire lift lobby of that floor stank of stale cigarette smoke. No idea if other floors are like that. I agree with others the bathrooms are a awkward size and certain things are awkwardly placed. The charging stations next to the bed were good and when one of them didn't wo... Read more

I had high hopes for this room, since it was pricier than a lot of other hotels we had looked at. What we received was basically a dorm room. Very small, but the worst part was the AC did not work. When we called the front desk, they laughed and said to turn the unit off for an hour. It was 100 degrees outside. This didn't fix the issue and so we spent the night in discomfort. The best part was the bottled water, location to shops, and the lounge being open late but would not stay again.

I just been there for a few days for work reason. The area of the hotel is just great, as it is near the center of the old city. A lot of historical spots are in walking distance. Check-in and Check-out are really easy and fast, made at a computer terminal. The staff is really helpfull and friendly, as well. The single room I had was good equipped with a desk, TV and hair dryer. Just a little fridge was missing. The air con was working just fine and was absolutely necessary in these summer days.... This is a great hotel in a great location in Center City. Very convenient to shopping, restaurants, Rittenhouse Square, and City Hall. Rooms are clean and quiet. The chilled bottled water on every floor is a great perk! Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. Lisa R. helped me with checkout and offered advice on finding a taxi (cab stand is next to hotel on 17th Street). Overall, a great place. Would definitely stay there again!

Room is very comfortable, although a little small. Having a sink and microwave is a plus. Lobby is nicely furnished, but you have to take the elevator up one level from the street to get in, so loading/unloading your car is a little awkward. Our room could have used some extra towels and pillows. These were available on request, but were not delivered quickly. Hotel has discounted parking around corner but if you want to save a bit you can look online for other discounted garages a few blocks aw... Read more

Great location. Walking distance to Temple, Reading Market, lots of shopping and historical sites. Parking is convenient. The Hotel is very clean and quite. Free bottled water stations. There are individual new plastic bottles that you fill up with chilled filtered water. Very much appreciated since it was 110 F out!

Stayed in a very small corner room. It was by far the smallest room I've ever seen. The bathroom was the size you would have in a camper. The door wouldn't fit plus size folks. It worked for us as it was just a room to sleep for the night so we could catch a Phillies game. It was inexpensive for center city Philadelphia so don't be afraid to try this one.

This is a business-oriented hotel that nonetheless is good for couples or singles on vacation. Great location right in Center City close to shopping and restaurants. The modern rooms are quite small but serviceable, with good beds and are clean and comfortable. The large, pleasant lobby has self-service snacks, couches, books, papers and TV sets tuned to the news. There a self-service amenities closet on each floor where you can find extra soap, shower caps, irons, etc. - a nice touch.

nice old hotel with comfortable room elevators were usually very slow in coming and usually full when they did arrive, some waits were more then ten minutes. parking and getting luggage to and from car was extremely inconvenient Front desk staff seemed to have no knowledge of restaurants or entertainment unless affiliated with the hotel
