I stayed at this hotel with my wife for one night. The room is modern and the staff is friendly. The only negative is the bed. It was extremely firm which made for an uncomfortable night. If you like firm beds then don't wait and book. Overall, theirs a bar no restaurant and nice staff.

Really the only reason to stay here is you have an early flight or a lay is in the middle of no where...the rooms are very high tech and super modern and fairly spacious...but try to get a good rate as there are other hotels in the area and for a one night stand one is as good as another.

I liked the ALOFT hotel. It is a newer concept hotel catering to the new urbanism lifestyle millennials and others have been embracing. It has a very different look and feel than any other hotel out there. Decor is minimalist with a concrete reception desk greeting you upon entry. There are snacks and microwave foods available but no restaurant. They do have a galley window open in the morning where they will make you a hot egg sandwich and other limited items. I think it will be a hit wit... Read more

First off, the general manager, Eric was great. He was able to make sure my room was ready & answered all of my parking questions. The property was clean, the room was comfortable, and the bar (tender) was really cool. I stayed here twice in a week. Once before I went away on vacation and a week later for a work conference. Kiyona W was also awesome and happened to remember me from the week before. She had a great memory and an even better personality. I would definitely stay at this property an... Read more

This room was loud. I could hear the people in the room next to mine and their television. The room set up was minimalist but nice. The ladies at the front desk were friendly and helpful. I would ask for a room that does not face the interstate. Mine did and the room noise was loud. The lounge / bar area was nice and relaxing. I was just there for the bed since my flight was at 5:30 the next morning.

I'm am a frequent traveler, so I'm pretty used to staying in hotels. Aloft Philadelphia met all of my needs. The woman at the front desk, I believe her name was Shakira. She made sure I had a quiet room with featherless pillows and even made sure I had my wake up calls for the morning. Great service likes this is a sure way to make me refurn more often.

I needed a hotel near PHL and chose this one based on previous experience with aloft in Montreal. I was not disappointed. Nice urban decor, very friendly staff, big room. My only complaint - and aloft isn't the only hotel guilty of this - are the big puffy pillows. If you're going to give me 4 pillows for one bed, why not a couple of firm ones?

I had a quick overnight stay during a recent business trip. I've stayed here before and I've had a good experience both times. The hotel is very convenient to the airport and you can get to downtown Philly easily. I love the decor of the Aloft brand. It's very modern and fresh. The front desk staff was wonderful. My room was very clean and roomy enough for me. I will definitely be back soon!

Definitely the best you are gonna get for an airport hotel. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Check in was easy but the desk staff told me they had overbooked the hotel- fortunately I'm a starwoods member so they guaranteed my room. That is why only 4 stars, would've been really angry if I made a reservation only to find out it was overbooked... Overall good value and classic w

We loved our stay at aloft Philadelphia Airport Hotel. We arrived a few hours before check-in and the room was not ready yet. We were given a key to the pool so our son could unwind from the long car ride and we could relax and await our room. The room was ready about an hour later (two hours before check-in time). Business colleagues decided to stay here, so I had another opportunity to judge this hotel -- and I still think it's overpriced for what you get (and can get in the PHL area). This time, our room had a) a window blind that wouldn't roll up all the way, 2) an air con unit that was LOUD and cycled on/off every few minutes during the night, 3) a handicapped shower drain that was partially stopped up, so water got all over the bathroom floor, creating a slipping hazard. The rooms were modern and clean. Plus the hotel is conveniently located right by the airport with shuttles running every 20 minutes. But, what put this place over the top was the friendliness of the girl at check-in. She was very sweet to all of her customers and has the ability to genuinely put people in a good mood. Stayed at this aloft for a single overnight after flying into PHL. It is a pretty standard aloft brand visually; however really falls short everywhere else. Check in was pretty miserable. I did mobile check in, so I didn't need keys, however I stopped by the refuel store to the left of the desk the front desk to grab a bottle of soda. 1st impressions are fantastic, sleek modern hotel and genuinely, very friendly staff! Unfortunately, the AC set up is one that has a unit in each room that ROARS ON, runs for about 15 minutes and then shuts down with a large preceeding WOOOSH- kind of like a mack truck brakes pressure release. Bed was comfy but the constant Roaring on and wooshing off of the AC unit made the night time a horrendous experience. What a shame! As my title states, my experience at this location was very "meh". Front End Staff was nothing to write home about. Did not recognize SPG status nor did they offer 4PM Check Out / Amenity. Just felt as if they wanted to get you on your way. Room was a typical aloft, if you've stayed in one. You've stayed in them all. The bed seemed to have been past it's prime. We stayed one night at this hotel. The loud room AC cycled on and off throughout the night and kept both of us awake. There is only ice in the lobby and a small ice bucket so I made three trips.
