After traveling for 10 hours, needed to find somewhere to relax and get a good night's sleep. This particular motel fit the bill. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. We even attended a manager's welcome reception that is offered every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. While we were there, it offered free wine, beer, chili, and appetizers. It was an appreciated surprise. Do drop in if you're in the area and need a place to unwind after a long day's drive.

The room was lovely and clean. Breakfast was terrific. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Sadly only two things brought my rating from a 5 to a 3, but they are a big deal. Parking was a mess. We had to park in a muddy lot near the construction of the hotels new wing. No lighting, no lines, just puddles, uneven pavement (where there was pavement ) and mud. We have a new car and we' were not happy. Cold showers were the other turn off. My husband and I showered between 7.30 and 8 a.m. no reason ... Read more

We were in town for a wine tasting and the location of the hotel is close to many of the wineries. However, they are in the middle of some construction project and much of the parking is blocked or torn up. When we went to shower in the morning the water was barely warm. It is important for me when I travel to have a decent shower. The location relative to the highway is nice but there is really nothing within walking distance except a run down diner next door. There is a gas station acros... Read more

On the road 160+ nights per year for our work, we stayed here for a week and were very comfortable. Major construction (addition) compromised parking just a bit but it was to be expected and not an issue. Our room was spacious and immaculate and very quiet. We liked that we could indicate whether to change linens and that there are firm and soft pillows. Bathroom was sparkling clean and had one of the best showers ever. Water temp was only lukewarm in the mornings, however; evening showers were ... Read more

The staff was cordial and I enjoyed the room. My husband rented me a king sized suite as a mother's day gift to recharge. The room was comfortable and it was easy to relax. I didn't like that the window only opened partway. I would have enjoyed a full breeze. I also wish I had access to streaming television instead of cable. Cable didn't seem to have anything entertaining on. Instead I logged into the hotel's Free WIFI and watched streaming video on my phone. I did appreciate that WIFI, though.

Pros: New and very clean hotel. Felt that my room was also very clean and well taken care of. Desk staff was very welcoming and accommodating. Breakfast had lots of options and was kept stocked. The breakfast room is a large area unlike some other hotels. Price was decent. Wifi was reliable and fast. Cons: Not the most soundproof rooms. Could hear people walking above me and in the rooms beside me. Thankfully they weren't too loud. Beds were not as comfortable as other hotels I've been t... Read more

Last lag of a 8 day "road trip" with grandchildren. Friendly check in, informed us of wonderful restaurant right next door. Spacious room for the 4 of us, nice facilities, boys loved the pool area. Construction going on but did not affect our stay. Breakfast was great. Would stop there again.

This hotel sits right next to the Interstate, but is out of town (Erie). Highway noise was not apparent. A good local restaurant is next door, but otherwise the location is isolated. The hotel is in the process of being doubled in size. Service was good, and the room and breakfast were up to the usual standards for Holiday Inn Express hotels.

Conveniently located off I-90, near Presque Isle & downtown Erie. Hotel was nice & clean, comfy beds & decent complimentary breakfast. **Our only complaint was the one extremely slow elevator - hopefully that will improve when the expansion is completed.

We were on our way to Boston from Chicago and North East looked like a good half way point. Great location right off the expressway. And the front desk was great, explain the "ropes" for the night, gave us great dinner options and all were still smiling the next morning when we checked out. Can't get better than that! And the breakfast (and staff) was great too.

Through the IHG App, at 10:30PM, I booked a room at this hotel for the following Friday evening (or so I thought). When the confirmation came through to my email, I noticed it was accidentally booked for the same night as the night that I was booking. At the time, I was at a campground four hours away from this hotel with no cell phone service and spotty wifi. I sent an email to the hotel ASAP, though with the in and out wifi at the campground, it sent about 11:30PM. I didn't receive a response... Read more

Needed a place to crash on a trip to visit family in NY. This Holiday Inn Express fit the bill for us. Very nice room and good amenities - pool and fitness room. Check in was easy and the staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good - typical HI Express breakfast. My husband and I stayed here because the B&B we typically stay at in North East was booked. This hotel did not disappoint. The rooms were very clean, spacious, and lovely. Our only complaint was that our King bed was very hard. We would consider staying again - perhaps in a room with different size beds to see if that made a difference. The hotel is undergoing an expansion but if they were working while we stayed we didn't notice. Complimentary breakfast was delicious. Great stay!
