We stayed here after driving 12 hours of what should have been a 10 hour ride. We were exhausted and were pleased to find such a clean, comfortable hotel upon our arrival. Despite our room being across from the elevator, there was very little "outside" noise in our room. The next morning, breakfast was good and all of the food was served at the right temperature. So many times the eggs are cold or overcooked, but they were perfect! This was a perfect stop for our trip from SC to NY!

We were traveling across the country and needed a place to stop and get some rest. We always stay at Holiday Inn Express while on the road so when this was on the map and coming up we decided to stop for the night. The hotel itself is a little hard to find, without GPS we would have been lost and our GPS was even confused for a minute! Once we got there and checked in everything was fine and up to par with what we expect from a Holiday Inn. There are not a lot of places right next to it so you d... Read more

Arrived March 5th and was greeted by Brooke...made feel like home and very welcomed. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly which puts you at ease knowing you were welcomed. Next time visiting the Lewisburg area we will be staying at The Holiday Inn Express..Thanks to all your wonderful staff.

This is our pick of hotels when visiting the New Columbia/Lewisburg Area. Our most recent stay was during a very busy weekend (state swim meet). Even though the hotel was busy, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Every time I asked the front desk for something such as extra pillows, it was handled quickly and effectively. The rooms are very spacious, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast is always great! Eggs, pancakes, yogurt, toast, cereal, etc. So nice to be able to feed the ... Read more

My family came to this property on Friday, April 15, 2016, for a Bible Quiz Tournament, at a local church. Renee at front desk greeted us, and made us feel welcome. We arrived early, and made use of the clean and beautiful pool. After many hours in the car, this was a great way to unwind the kids! There was a hot tub, too. Our room was clean and spacious. The hotel was well run and quiet, despite being full that night. The Wi-Fi was speedy, and stayed on. Breakfast had many choices of both hot a... Read more

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in New Columbia on our way home from an East Coast road trip. Hotel was nicely maintained and the staff were very friendly. We especially appreciated their pet-friendly accommodations. The only issue is the strong odor coming from neighboring farms--they did run the air conditioning to deal with that problem. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

We stayed here while traveling to NYC. It is right off I80 and easy to get to. The staff was friendly, the room was large and clean, and the free breakfast was above average. The only thing to be aware of is that there are no restaurants near the hotel. However, if you go 5 to 6 miles into Lewisburg, there are plenty of restaurants to choose from. We would definitely stay there again.

Family had a 3 night stay at this hotel. Room was clean and serviced daily. TV remote didn't have much coverage...had to hold it at a high angle for it to work. Breakfast options were excellent!!! Parking is great too! Very convenient location to either Lewisburg or Williamsport. Staff was nice and helpful. Wifi in the room was very disappointing from a performance and reliability perspective.

We stopped here for a quick Saturday overnight before heading into New York City. You get everything you expect from Holiday Inn Express. Clean comfortable rooms; Clean bathroom with quality products; Good breakfast; Plenty of parking. Carpet throughout needs to be updated - worn and tired looking. We did not use the pool but it looked like everyone was enjoying it.

I was given a handicap accessible room. The room was clean, but there was an odor in the bathroom -very faint, odor like sewer gas. Plus after the toilet flushed and the tank refilled the pipes sang "basso profundo", so don't flush during the night. I tried to post a picture of the handheld shower head-- slippery when wet, so it's a struggle to use --not so good for a handicap accessible room. Room was clean, and outside of the bathroom no odors. Fridge works good. Didn't use the microwave.

This is our second stay in this hotel, it is clean the breakfast is good, especially the cinnamon rolls. A couple of cons, there are no refrigerators in the room. We were traveling with softball so I keep a cooler full of lunch meat and fresh fruit and it was disappointing to have to keep them on ice instead of putting them in the fridge. Also, the hotel was at full capacity and some of our teammates said they didn't have any shampoo or conditioner in their rooms, when they asked at the front d... Read more

My husband was here for business and since the kids are out of school we all tagged along to visit knoebels and Penns cave. The hotel is clean, staff is friendly, breakfast is good and well stocked. Right next to the highway but we heard no noise day or night. We had a suite with a pull out sofa in the living area, which is separated from the sleeping area by a half wall (but no door). Our teenaged son was thrilled to have his own little area to sleep and watch tv in. The pool is small but ... Read more

I just stayed for 1 night. The hotel seemed to be full of a huge group of families that were all together. There were children running all over the place and along the corridors and there was nowhere to sit apart from in my room. The wi-fi didn't work in the evening. The staff seemed very disinterested overall. The price was high for what I got compared to other hotels in the area. The good points were - big spacious room with very comfortable beds, good location and easy to find. I'm back in th... Read more

We stayed one night returning from Pittsburgh to NJ. By using a coupon from a travel brochure, we received a nice discount off the regular price. The front desk person greeted us with just the right amount of friendliness and good humor, which we needed after a tiring drive. We requested a room with a refrigerator. Fortunately, the hotel was not busy so a room with a fridge was available. The room was large, clean and quiet, with a comfortable king bed.

We stayed here one night during a baseball tournament. Highly recommend for families! Excellent customer service from the front desk staff - Brooke was very helpful and friendly- on a night the place was sold out because of youth sports teams (hockey, baseball, football, softball). The rooms were updated/modern, hotel was very clean, and the breakfast buffet was great. Most importantly - the beds were super comfortable!!! Definitely worth it.

Very clean room, but it smelled musty when we entered, and the smell never seemed to leave despite the fact we left the AC on. The room claims to be a "suite" however, it is nothing more than a room with a king size bed, lumpy sofa bed and a jacuzzi in the corner. The free breakfast was very poor with heavily salted fake eggs and lots of breakfast meats and white breads. Patrons did not use tongs when grabbing foods which could have been encouraged with signs ( "Please use tongs- not your han... Read more

The hotel lobby is small and adjacent to the breakfast bar. Staff are friendly and helpful. Hallways are clean but not extremely well lit. Rooms are fairly large but are somewhat dated with older wallpaper and beds. My tub had a channel in the middle where the fiberglass had begun to stretch and sag below the support beams. The shower pipes also whined a bit. On a positive note, the rooms have Keurig coffee machines with 3 K-cups and breakfast is served starting at 6:00 with a make-your-own-pan... Read more

I absolutely love this hotel and staff! The hotel is perfect for our softball team, and some of us have stayed in some not-so great hotels in the past. Great rooms, comfortable beds, nice bathrooms. The on-site washer and dryer comes in handy for the stanky softball uniforms and the early breakfast bar is fantastic for our 8AM games. The cinnamon buns are delicious! We have stayed here twice this year, both times at last minute. Ty Gemberling, hotel sales manager, is fantastic to work with! The ... Read more

The hotel has some pluses, like location close to I-80, big rooms, comfortable pillows, allow dogs, big grass area. All that is cancelled out by: Windows Don't Open!! The rooms have sucked up years worth of old man stink, dog breath and everything one expels into a room. Soo gross. Our room smelled like almost dead man covered in cheap cologne. I can forgive non-working light in bathroom and old spring mattress, but not no fresh air. Rooms need to be aired out!! This ain't Vegas. No One will... Read more

Husband and I were moving across the country, and my best friend was helping me drive. On night 2 we stopped here, to be near Reptiland which is just down the road. It was a little pricier than what we normally would have gotten, but MAN was it worth it!! The room, literally, had 12 foot ceilings. It was spacious as hell, although that made the TV seem a little small. The bathroom was gorgeous, with a tub nice enough that my friend took a bath when we got in. Been here about 4 times on business- usually one night stops. Easy on/off Rt 80 and Pa15. The room is always clean, the desk folks are always helpful and efficient and friendly. It's a few more dollars than the Quality next door, where I've stayed twice and will never again. The a Holiday Inn is waaaay nicer for a business traveler.
