We were not happy with our stay at this hotel. We woke up very early to make a flight to Las Vegas and were not able to properly shower since there was no hot water. Manager was not very concerned and only stated they knew there was a problem and were working to correct it. No offer for a discount and this was an expensive place to stay.

We stayed at the hotel for my wedding weekend, which was at the hotel. The rooms were great. They were able to keep the majority of our room block close together. I was across from the elevator and I didn't think they were noisy at all. Great, comfortable beds. The entire front desk and housekeeping staff was super friendly and helpful.

We checked in on Thursday evening and our reservation had somehow been lost. The two Jennifers at the front desk were impressive, they went absolutely above and beyond to make our experience exceptional regardless. We stayed overnight for a company banquet and found it to be just fine. There was a wedding, which made it a bit congested, and the elevator was a bit of a mess, I'm guessing from the wedding guests, but the staff is amazing. I lost my phone at Heinz Field and Derek at the front desk could not have been nicer and more helpful getting me the information to get it back, which I did. The staff at this Doubletree is amazing...from the drivers, bell hops to the wait staff and chef, but especially the Sales/Catering Manager! Everyone made you feel like you were their #1 priority during our stay. The food is incredible and service is awesome, especially for the price. You won't go wrong with this Doubletree hotel.

Best place to stay in Pittsburgh whether flaying out of Pittsburgh Internstional or visiting the area. The rooms are spacious. Comfortable. Clean. Quiet. The facilities are first class. There was a glitch through the app when I checked in and an amenity I requested wasn't delivered. When brought to the attention of the staff, they immediately remedied the issue. I would recommend staying here just for the awesome, welcoming staff.

I had a mixed stay at this hotel. The original two night reservation I received a great deal through Trip Advisor. My first problem was I could not add an additional night, so I had to try and book another one. I tried doing this on my iPhone, and did it directly through Hilton HHonors, I thought I got a great price that was just a few dollars more than what I paid through Trip Advisor. The staff was incredibly friendly and were on top of all needs that we had. Our breakfast server, Michelle, was always there to greet us with a smile and pleasant conversation. I will definitely stay here again in the future.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The staff is wonderful!! They made me feel welcomed and helped me in a stressful situation. This hotel is conveniently located near the airport. The hotel itself is well-maintained, neat and fresh. I will personally stay again and would recommend the Doubletree by Hilton to anyone staying in the area.

Although we live outside Pittsburgh, our 5:15am flight would necessitate leaving our house around 2:45 to get to the airport on time. We decided to stay at the Doubletree Airport to save some time and it was the best decision. We were able to sleep for an extra hour and took the shuttle which dropped us off at 3:45 The rooms were very comfortable and updated and the team members that we encountered were super friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

Our room was very very clean and the staff was great! Hotel is convenient to shopping, the airport and Pittsburgh. The bed was comfortable and having a refrigerator and microwave was a nice touch. Great stay!

Had an unexpected delay in Pittsburgh and was able to find the DoubleTree. Based on the reputation of the brand I figured this was a good choice. I was wrong. This was a great choice. This is a very nice hotel. The staff was very professional and helpful. They helped with everything from Checkin, finding inexpensive gasoline, to printing out boarding passes. The room was clean and well appointed. The price was reasonable and the location can't be beat if you are trying to stay near the airport. Definitely recommend to travelers

Expensive and not worth it. Needs a serious remodel. Had issues with the plumbing in my room. Tried 2 times to clean it with no luck then had to request a room change. Offered bonus points which I did not receive.

We chose this hotel for the price. It is older but the rooms were large. Bath a little small but lots of space for toiletries. The bed was terrific. So comfortable. Protection covers on mattress which I like. I think they should remove stain carpet from elevators and replace with tile. Everything else was very good.

My family and I fly out of Pittsburgh International Airport 4 - 5 times/year. With all of the construction that is constant on the parkway going to the airport, it is necessary to stay the night before near the airport or risk missing our flight. We have found the DoubleTree Pittsburgh Airport the best for comfortable, clean accommodations, a good restaurant on-site, friendly, helpful staff, reasonable rates and a shuttle that runs 24 hours/day. We'll be returning many more times!

Spent one night here before traveling to a family function the following day. Great front desk service, a comfortable room with a king size bed, and a very nice view from our rooms wndow. Minor issue with noise from ajoining rooms, but nothing overly distracting.

Hotel needs renovating. Carpets are stained. Just seemed stale and dingy. Hotel staff was excellent. I would not stay here again just because of the old feel of the hotel. To get to back patio, you had to go through the pool. Not well thought out.

If you want to be double charged and then refused to me given a refund. Stay here. If you want rude employees that hate their jobs, stay here. Hopefully they locate this one employee and fire her. If they do it will be a much nicer place.

We booked this hotel through hotels.com for a same-day stay. One of the things I like about Hotels.com is that you can enter the ages of all the kids that will be staying with you; we have 3, ages 13, 13, and 12. We stay here every time we travel. There is parking and fly options and the staff is very helpful. They are quick to pick you up when you arrive back to town. The room is nice size and the bed is comfortable. There is a bar/ restaurant. It was busy and we sat on the patio and had a few drinks. In he morning check out was quick and the driver was on time and delivered us right to the door. Will return for our next trip.

Had to move rooms at 12:00 am. Checked into a Hilton Honors room. Complimentary water was on the floor and non-smoking room was clearly smoking. Hotel staff said smell may have come from staff? Huh! Room also had tired and dated furniture. Carpet was about the only thing that looked new.

Stayed at the Doubletree while on a weekend visit to Pittsburgh. During my stay I visited the bar, hit the hot tub, and ordered room service. I have nothing but good things to say about this hotel. A very nice hotel that in some areas of the facility is showing its age. Room and bed were comfortable. Bathroom was a tight squeeze in the shower. The service provided by the staff was exemplary. All were extremely accommodating to our needs and that includes the staff in Jackson's.

Close to Pittsburgh airport and long term parking with shuttle service to boot. Nice room, great pool and hot tub! Busy bar and restaurant with great little pizzas made to offer in a mini pizza oven and sizeable wine list. Left a bag in the room by mistake and shuttle driver and front desk, Neal and Denise went over and above to reunite me with my bag and make my flight on time! Thank you!

Older doubletree very friendly staff. A little pricey but 12 days free parking brought the overall price in line. Free airport shuttle on time very friendly driver. No free continental breakfast offered but Bob Evans literally across the street. Other fast food closeby.

Hotel is nice and clean. Rooms are roomy. Convenient location to both the airport and shopping. There are several restauarants choices nearby, along with gas stations. Although I did not personally use, but the courtyard looked nice and inviting. Parking is free.

This place is great for convenience and comfort. We needed a place to overnight before our early flight out of PGH. If you stay here, you can park your car in the lot for just $15 for TWO WEEKS. What a great deal. And free shuttle to and back from the airport. We couldn't believe the price. Just down the street at a large lot, they wanted $5.50 a day! My husband and I booked this hotel through Parksleepfly.com. Easy to get too, clean comfortable rooms and friendly staff. The shuttle was ready and got us to the airport in plenty of time. Lots of parking and we felt comfortable leaving our vehicle there. We would stay here again.

E-mailed when I would come in and when I needed the shuttle. Called again at the baggage claim. An hour later and 2 additional calls until they showed. Room was hot as was the hallway. Humid and smelly. Looked like a converted Holiday Inn. Got a free breakfast but it wasn't a $12 breakfast by any means. They just apologized over and over

We have stayed at nicer Doubletree Suites over the years. Hotels that had a seperate bedroom from the main room.The staff at this hotel is excellent and goes above and beyond for their guests.But the room was really just an average room that you would get anywhere else. One room and not a lot of space.

When I got into bed it was wet! Yes wet. They checked me into a new room but the person who moved me seemed so irritated and didn't apologize for the inconvenience. There was a very still odor in the hallway and off the elevator. Other than that it was a very pleasant day the wedding accommodations for the friends and family was perfect the food was amazing as was the service at the wedding.

Hotel is on older side. There was a wedding going on so very noisy when i checked in at 1130 pm and was noisy in hallway around 230am. Can easily hear doors opening and shutting. Room had deodorizing smell to it and bed had slight smell of smoke in it. Bed was okay but not as good as Hilton or Hampton inn. Plus is chef made me a gluten and soy free breakfast. Also very convenient if you need to leave early for the airport. Whirlpool was nice but not very hot.

I was booked here for business, out of all the hotels that I've stayed in this I the extreme ....... WORSTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!! I honestly think placing a request for extra pillows should not be a hardship for anyone. Other Hilton hotels I've stayed at, whether they were in the middle of a grand city or in the middle of nowhere, fulfilled this request with ease. Another issue, if I check-in from my phone using the Hilton app and I say that I'm going to be arriving at 3PM then I'm not quite sure why the room and keys were not ready upon my arrival. The maid was so pleasant and nice writing a little note to the customer. What 'home' type of service...none better! That alone made the visit extra special. Room was clean, roomy, and bed comfortable. A nice place to stay!

Room smelled like smoke. Check in process was to long. No coffee in lobby in the morning. Staff could be friendlier. Lobby was not as nice as most DoubleTree's. Good location for airport stay. Did not thank me for being a Hilton Gold Member.

This hotel is run-down and showing its age. From the stained carpet throughout the hotel and rooms, to the dark dingy hallways and horribly slow elevators--this property should be shut down and updated. The HVAC is a mess. Was here hosting a meeting and the meeting rooms were STIFLING hot--kept getting excuses about the A/C not working properly. This hotel was great. The staff were helpful. The rooms were clean. We had our daughters weddind here. The hotel and staff did everything they could to make the experience wonderful. I would reccommend this hotel to anyone needing a wedding venue or just a place to stay

The room did not have refrigerator or microwave. They had to bring one in, after putting my food and sodas, water, etc. everything froze. Room 316 ;Toilet had to be fixed. The closet door was falling off the track. The indoor pool was so cold you couldn't use it. Will never return to that Double Tree location ever.

I'm fortunate enough to stay here frequently for business travel and always have a great stay. The staff is always very professional and friendly and the entire facility is spotless. The location to the airport is also a plus.

The hotel was very clean and very close to the airport. After an extended stay elsewhere in PA, I decided to drive in closer to the airport for my upcoming flight home on next day. My room was a generous size, extremely clean, and with amenities that I have come to expect when staying with DoubleTree Hotels. Traveling alone, I felt very safe and secure. And the staff, from check-in to room service to check-out, were very welcoming, polite, and helpful.

I visited this hotel for business for two nights in October. I travel regularly for business and always use Hilton hotels and they have always had high standards that met my expectations. This particular hotel did not. Check in was fast but the desk clerks seemed confused with the rate for me and my group. My room was clean but oddly laid out. Room and hotel is old, although the decor is updated it's just surface. Carpet, ceiling and a/c smelled. Breakfast bar was cold and unappetizing. Location is great and the hotel could be really good with some love.

My family and I stayed at this hotel for a family function. We received a charge of $200 for room fees incurred by the maid staff. We called and were told a reason. We disputed this. We then called back a week later after not hearing anything to resolve the issue. We were then given an entirely different reason for the charges. Again not accurate. The hotel was close enough to the airport so our group could travel back at the end of our trip. The accommodations were perfect for our business group team meeting. The hotel was clean and the staff very friendly and helpful.

Only complaint was poor internet quality, if you can over look that be prepared for a pleasant and relaxing stay. I don't think I've ever had a business trip go more smoothly. And the conference that was hosted there went really well.

The staff and room was exceptional especially on short notice. We were upgraded the the presidential suite which was amazing, the food was expensive but worth the price - 2nd best steak I have ever had in 48 years.

My stay here was at expectation. I would compare this stay to a Holiday Inn Express. The staff was very friendly, and it was convenient to have a restaurant/bar in the building. At times, the air seemed a bit damp or that it wasn't being circulated well. There was a bit of a smell. The only real disappointment was that the indoor pool was too cold to swim in!

Got in after midnight, but booked weeks in advance. Nice hotel...very close to airport. There's no door to the sink area of the bathroom. So, if the rest of the family is sleeping and you have to blow dry hair or brush teeth, there's no way to block the light/noise from the rest of the room. The event planner - Nicole - went above and beyond expectations. Front desk help was very good. Rooms, breakfast, bar, not so much. The excellent service rating is because of Nicole. We did have some issues with the room which were not resolved.

I would highly recommend this hotel. *The staff is friendly and helpful. The waitress at breakfast was super friendly, cheerful and helpful. *Great choices of restaurants near by. Our team ate at Primanti Brother's nearby and all of us gave it high marks. *Room was nice and clean.

This has to be one of the worst hotels we have ever been in. First of all, the front desk staff didn't know which exit the hotel was at. If you've stayed at upscale DoubleTree locations before, lower your expectations if you choose this hotel. Overall poor quality in regards to the room, gym, pool area to the hallway carpeting and rundown elevators. It appears this hotel was once upon a time something 'else' and has adopted the DoubleTree brand under false pretenses.

Check in was fine. The room has a bizarre layout. You can't open the door, closet, or bathroom simultaneously with any combination of the three. So good luck if you're trying to exit the bathroom while someone is opening the closet! You're literally stuck. The pool is in the lower level which is a little weird. I am a loyal Hilton Honors member and this place is close to the airport. I wish I would have read the reviews before booking. This place is very dated. The staff is very friendly and do an excellent job. I would probably try something different the next time I am in the area.

Normally, they take care of us as a Diamond member. This last trip - there were no upgrades. Front Desk staff was...odd..would be a good description. Wasn't treated as if we had stayed there dozens of times (which we have). It will be interesting how this place makes out once the new Homewood Suites (also Hilton) is built.
