We stayed here during the weekend of my daughter's graduation from Messiah College. The beds were very comfortable, the breakfast wonderful, and a great lunch at Isaac's is only steps away, connected by a covered walkway. If you bring your room key they will discount your bill by 15%!

Like other Hampton Inns, this hotel is clean and with professional, friendly staff. The rooms and furniture are in good condition. Complimentary warm breakfast is a nice treat with typical options and healthy, fresh options. Fitness center is small but sufficient - 1 elliptical, 2 treadmills, 1 recumbent bike, exercise ball, towels and ear buds. No free weights. Would stay here again. Lots of parking, close to restaurants, mall and cinema. Wish it had an indoor pool.

We used this hotel as our base to travel to Gettysburg, Hollywood Casino, and some dirt track races. The hotel was very clean, the grounds and landscaping well kept, and staff very friendly. There was a girls softball tournament going on someplace and the hotel was full of teams which seemed to overwhelm the front desk staff. There were a few room mistakes made. We were given an Applebees gift card to compensate for a mistake they made on one of our rooms. They were very apologetic. Breakfa... Read more

Stayed at this affordable gem for 2 days for a car show in nearby Carlisleâ?¦ Enjoyed the cleanliness, hospitality and nice poolâ?¦ The staff and TLC at the hotel is A+! The feel of the hotel was more of a resort-type with hot (FREE) breakfast everyday and housekeeping servicing the building for what seemed like 24/7!! My kids enjoyed the cozy & clean pool too! Will definitely be staying at this gem again!!!

We had an excellent stay here, it's pretty much everything I want in a hotel. The mattresses are relatively new and comfortable, our room was spotless, and I heard almost no noise at all. The few times I interacted with the staff they were very friendly and helpful. We used the pool a few times and it was also very well maintained. Stayed one night on business. Staff very friendly at all times. Check-in was super quick and the front desk was helpful with restaurant recommendations. Elevators are very slow -- probably an age issue. There's a lot of green color in terms of paint, hallways, carpeting, etc. Not particularly modern but not offensive. Rooms are very spacious but decor is at best 1990s. Everything is in good condition but just looks and feels dark and antiquated. Lighting isn't great. Bed was just ok -- ... Read more

This was first time I've stayed at the Hampton Inn by Hilton Harrisburg West. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. This hotel doesn't skip on its complimentary breakfast, and the food service area was clean. Enjoyed my stay here.

When my friend and I travel to take herb classes at The Rosemary House and afternoon tea at Sweet Remembrances in Mechanicsburg we always stay at the Hampton Inn-Harrisburg West. Very clean, quiet and great breakfast!

We had an excellent experience. Staff, accomodations and breakfast were all great. When I called ahead of time with questions, the gentleman on the phone was very professional and caring and went out of his way to help. Highly recommend this place.

This was one of the best Hampton Inn's that we have stayed in ( and there has been many). We stay at Hampton Inn because they have a great price and the cleanest rooms and friendliest people. They REALY take care of you. This Hampton Inn went over the top with their helpfulness. Everyone here goes out of their way to help you. I have not seen this kind of service since I left Japan. I WILL GO BACK TO THIS ONE!

This property always seems to be innovative in what they offer beyond the standard property with guest amenities like the free lobby games and the afternoon donuts. Staff is also engaging and helpful. We'd be glad to stay there again.

I attended a ministry conference nearby. This hotel affords the opportunity to walk there if you do not have a vehicle. My roommates and I encountered friendly staff, a wonderful complimentary breakfast, working wi-fi, free evening snacks on the weekdays, clean lobby restrooms, a complimentary tea and coffee bar 24/7 especially great in the cold, and a cozy meeting place for new friends in the TV and dining area with beautiful Christmas decorations. We felt blessed!

the people in this hotel are the finest I have seen.. They compare to the expected service in a 4 or 5 star hotel.. They make you feel you have a home away from home and are always proactive to your needs. Location is convenient to highways and Harrisburg, PA
