The entire hotel is old and decrepit. After we checked in our room keys wouldn't unlock the room so we had to go all the way back to the lobby. we were given a different room in another building as we were told that our original room didn't have free wi fi as advertised. I would never recommend this place to anyone unless the price was cut in half. I would never ever stay here again

Stayed here for 2 nights for graduation. Very quiet and employees were very friendly. It's not fancy, but its relatively clean and close to campus. Not as bad as everyone says.

A poorly maintained facility. Worn and stained carpet throughout. Worn and stained furniture in rooms. Wi-Fi accessibility in most, but not all rooms. Poorly prepared food in the hotel's dining room. The staff try hard to make up for the hotel's many condition problems, but can't overcome the poor impression this hotel makes.

If Meadville had prostitutes they would use this hotel. The non smoking room smelled like smoke. My first morning there the police were there for a domestic for some folks who looked like they were living there. The second night the room next to me were in and out of there room slamming the door until 1230am and then a male visitor knocked on the door at 420am. The free breakfast was terrible.

The room was not what I ordered. Had to move to another room that still did not have the roll out bed promised. The new room did not have the air on and remained stuffy. The walls were dirty and he rug stained. Had a bug run across my pillow in the middle of the night. Would not stay here again. Doors to outside did not have swipe locks. Not very secure.

This is a large, sprawling property that was once grand (maybe 30 years ago) but has not been updated in decades. Breakfast only included on week days.

At 1230am used the bathroom and toilet over filled. Next morning before we could tell the front desk what happen we got a knock at the door and they asked us if there was a problem we told them what happen. We were in room 163. They gave us another room. 163 was a smoking room and room 123 was on smoking.

This hotel and our room was a great disappointment. It was run down with a lot of peeling paint and/or ceiling tiles. There was dust and cobwebs in the corners of our room. Our bathroom sink didn't work very well. The hot water was scalding and difficult to control the temperature. We were told we could hook into the wi-fi in our room, but we could not. The trash can outside of our building's entrance was not emptied for a whole day and was overflowing.

This hotel is very old and could use some updating to be more aesthetically pleasing but it was very clean and the staff was very friendly so I would stay here again. No issues at all. Was very quiet even though filled for a softball tournament. Free wifi worked perfectly.

I stay at this hotel about once every six weeks, because it is convenient. The rooms are showing their age, could stand to update the bathroom sinks, and the carpet is aging. There is a waterfall in the lobby which is very tacky. The front desk staff has always been very friendly. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a reasonably priced room in meadville.

We stayed here because they allow pets and our dog was traveling with us. An older hotel, with small stairwells and hallways although rooms were spacious. Dated furniture and accessories; small bathroom but very comfortable beds and one of the cleanest rooms we've stayed in. Front desk staff very responsive to an incident taking place in the parking lot with two intoxicated individuals. Priced a bit high.

The hotel needs some attention. Booked 2 rooms, the king room was fine overall and clean. The double bedroom was a different story-overwhelming cat urine smell!. The value of the double room was not fair considering my son has allergies and the smell had penetrated into their luggage once we returned home. The staff were friendly and tried to accommodate , however, after complaining of the cat urine smell, the manager was suppose to call me, but to no avail as of this date. I recommend check... The hotel is old and has a terrible smell. Smelled of urine and mold. That makes you feel like it's dirty, but I have to admit the room and bathroom appeared clean. Outdated linens and tv. Bed was not comfortable. The room had a front and back door, but both locked and were secure. The front door led to a dirty hallway that led to the parking lot. The back door led to a courtyard. The A/C quit working at 2AM making for a long miserable night. whenI went to check out 3 ladies were at the desk talking one smiled but no one offered to help me. Finally girl standing turned to girl sitting down and said you have someone. Was not even asked by staff at check -out my name or how my stay was. She just took the key and said thank you and turned back to co-worker conversation.. I interrupted and told her our A/C had quit and she said "that's not good"

This place was gross. The entire building had an odd unfavorable smell. Room was not ready. We were relocated twice to get a room that had been cleaned. We got a room with no towels, stained sheets and a half eaten pack of bakery cookies that had an expiration date of March 2016 in one of the dresser drawers. No soap or shampoos in bathroom. We had to go shopping for toiletries. Upon returning to our room late the second night, our room keys no longer worked and we needed to have them reprogramm... Read more

Unfortunately after getting to our room we wound up going to another hotel. The staff was very nice and courteous but the hotel is unfortunately run down. The stucco and the trim on the building is falling apart and although the room seemed clean the furniture was completely scratched up and in bad shape. It also had a musty smell that seemed to be coming from the AC unit which looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. And the bed seemed like it was a $99 mattress from Walmart.

We decided at the last minute to stay overnight in the Meadville area and almost everything else was booked. This hotel has obviously seen its better days - pealing paint and stucco on the outside, some overgrown vegetation, etc. But our room was clean and even though the air conditioner was temperamental (kept shutting off), it was able to keep the room cool during our stay. The WiFi was also tempermental. We didn't notice the bad smells described in other reviews. The common rest rooms ... Read more

It was nice to find a hotel with attached restaurant and lounge. The staff could not have been nicer and the property is in good shape for being older. While the value and general appearance of the room was fine there were some cleanliness issues and an unexpected charge. We needed a reasonably priced place to stay when moving our son in to Edinboro University. I didn't expect anything fancy, just wanted clean, comfortable beds and a quiet place to sleep. The overall inn could do with a remodel - wallpaper peeling, tube style tv, stale smoke smell. It wasn't very quiet. There were people carrying on in the courtyard and the sound echoed. The other reviews I've read are correct. This is a very tired property. We arrived late so had to accept the moldy smell, peeling wallpaper, lumpy carpet and badly stained sink and tub. The bed wasn't great either and gave us more incentive to make an early start. This place must have been great at one point but that time is past. It needs serious money spent to update it.

Our bed was reasonably comfortable, and the room was clean. The hotel overall has seen better days - it's definitely old and tired and could use a makeover.
