Staff is great here. Only negative is the rooms are in need of updating, but they are clean. I have been staying here for the past three years. It is the best place near the Quentin Riding Club. Don't stay in the whirlpool rooms. The tub is in the middle of the living room. If you want a larger room, ask for 427.

We stayed two nights over a busy holiday weekend. The hotel is located immediately off of the PA Turnpike so while you do hear the hum of trucks when outside, this was really not audible inside (we were on the Turnpike side of the hotel and I was traveling with a toddler). The grounds are serene with a large pond with a path (1/4 mile maybe around but you could do loops for outdoor running). The location is great for both Amish country and Hershey Park (and the event facilities across the street... Read more

I would definitely stay here again. Other than the "skunk" smell in the lobby and the odd smell in the room, the hotel appeared new and clean. Comfortable beds, shower had great pressure, we felt very safe, it was quiet and everything we needed while playing at a local lacrosse tournament.

Arrival experience was fast and friendly. Lobby and grounds are well kept. Rooms were clean and comfortable. We spent a couple of days at this hotel visiting many of the local attractions in Lancaster County and, of course, Wilbur Chocolate in Litiz. It is a tad further out from some of the more popular tourist spots in PA Dutch Country than some would prefer, but the value afforded makes this hotel a great place to stay.

I tend to like the Hampton Inns and this one is just like many of the others - clean, quiet and friendly. The room we had seemed a little "worn" though and could use a little updating. I did find the price a little high though. Just seemed a little difficult to justify that, unless I missed something, the Hershey attractions, restaurants,...are all several miles away.

Room was disgusting, it was like there was a party thrown in there the night before and the maids couldn't be bothered to do a proper room clean in it. We were forced to switch rooms and downgrade our room because there was no one there to come fix and clean our original room. Front desk was as helpful as they could be for a busy weekend, but it just shouldn't have been an issue in the first place. This hotel is the absolute worst that I have ever encountered. The staff is rude and condescending. They do not address or take care of problems. They allow large groups to stay there and annoy everyone else. They then act like the guest who is not causing a problem is the problem rather the noisy, rude, drunk guests who are causing the problems. This hotel will promise a certain type of room but then fail to deliver.

The staff at this facility were all very friendly. The rooms were well maintained and clean. The Manheim Hampton is wonderful and conveniently located across the street from the Grubb Mansion and Mount Hope Winery; a must see!
