I spent 2 weeks in this hotel during a business trip in the area. Hotel is partially renewed and renewing. Rooms are nice, equipped with a lot of power supplier and USB adapter. Easy to find, with a lot of possibility for a good diner in the area. Good breakfast with many options. Suggested.

I just had a horrendous experience with the reservations and billing department here. In late June, I made a reservation for 2 rooms for a wedding I was attending in the area on August 15th. The same day (or very next day) I called to cancel these reservations because our first choice hotel became available. I have an email that I wrote to myself that day with my confirmation numbers as well as the cancellation numbers: Confirmation number 67338301 Cancelation 52661698 Confirmation number 673... woke up with bed bug bites, management was slow to give me a new room, offered $2 for coin op laundry and then told me they couldn't find any sign, I showed them the GIANT RED SORE bites I got on my arm!!! They gave me a new room and rented my old one out same day, room 221.

About average for this type of hotel. Front desk staff is excellent. Housekeeping is great. Rooms are very small on lower floor. Breakfast is included but basic. The price is good for the room types. Mall and everything else you can think of is close by including Sesame Street Park.

I booked this hotel room in advanced to go to the Sesame Place opening weekend this past weekend, I requested Early Check-In. Travelling with 2 children under 3, and Sesame Place opening at 3:30 Friday (normal check in for the hotel is 4) I didn't want to be left in limbo with the hotel room, I made sure to have Early Check in on my reservation. I called the hotel that morning around 10:30am (check out is 11am) and told the front desk that I would be arriving around 1:30pm, and the front desk to... Read more

Another tournament weekend in Philadelphia. Stay was very nice. Staff was friendly and very accommodating. Rooms was nice and very clean as were bathrooms. Good water pressure. Complimentary buffet breakfast was good and had lots of good options. Negatives were very small exercise room, small pool and very weak WiFi. Overall, would recommend highly.

I've heard they swarm during the time that Sesame Place is open and are relatively scarce the rest of the year. The swarming is actually entertainment with high-action scenes of overturned cereal bowls in the breakfast area, spilled milk, and other mishaps, but the management is well-equipped to deal with this, with instantaneous clean-up of any messes wrought by the infesting hoardes. They're used to it. The room was functional and adequate. The bathroom had a weak odor of stale urine but t... Read more

This is one of the partner hotels and we booked a stay as part of the Sesame Place package options. Not sure of the regular price, but it was a good value in the package. Be aware if you do a package, it is booked through Sesame Place and the hotel may have additional charges. They required a credit card on check in and did an authorization against it even though the entire stay was paid months in advance. This was not clear in the reservation and the check in clerk was a bit short with me and b... Read more

I Booked this hotel with Sesame Street and the price point was very reasonable. First the Pros: the hotel is in a good location, the property is well maintained and there is free parking, the breakfast was ok, the beds are comfortable and clean. The front desk staff are freindly. Cons: my phone didn't work, no matter how many times I tried and calling front desk nobody even offered to try and fix it. We could receive calls but could never dial out, since we wanted to order food this was very agg... Read more

I just got back from a weekend stay at the hotel. I booked this hotel with the sesame place stay and play package and had a great experience with the staff. First, I had called a few days before and spoke to Pamela, I explained I needed a room with two beds and she told me she would check the day of my stay and if they had anything available she would make the changes. The day of my check in I called and she had made the changes. Second, the day of my check in we got lost driving to the hotel... Read more

My son & I stayed here Friday-Sunday for sesame place... It was great! Breakfast was always hot and kid friendly...the shuttle to take you to sesame place was always there waiting to pick us up. Rooms were super nice. And staff was always friendly! Definitely recommend this to people looking to spend the night after sesame place!

I booked this hotel thru the Sesame Place package. The hotel is centrally located to other attractions, shopping and just around the corner from Sesame Place. The shuttle driver--Kevin and Matt were delightful and very helpful--we never waited more than 7 minutes for pick up or drop-off. They offer great advice for things to do nearby since they are from the area. We arrived early and Paul at the front desk was very accommodating and helped us retrieve our tickets to Sesame Place. Is ok. Not sure if we'd stay here again. We didn't get a friendly and warm welcome when we first checked in. Maybe the man was having a bad afternoon, whatever his case was, no excuse. Customer service is their business. Don't know his name bc he didn't have a name/work ID on. Then we got charged extra $15.00 per night for our stay which he forgot to mention when we paid upfront. We realized this because American Express notified us the total difference. When we went back down to ask what the... Read more

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The room was clean, a great size, and quite comfortable. The location was fantastic! If we go back to do Sesame Place again, we'd stay here again! Only downfall was many other families, it's not always quiet.

It was my one year old daughter first vacation . So we waited to see if we should go at all . I called the night before too see if they have any rooms available and they only had one with two queens . First nice thing they do was they let us used their shuttle. by the way the young guy that drives the day shift was such a gentlemen . Then when we were leaving the park the night driver was waiting for us . He was just as great as the day driver . We check in and front desk person realized that ... Read more

We decided to stay here last minute as we felt that this hotel could have accommodated us... Prior to checking in we requested early check in although when we arrived at 1pm, 2hrs prior to checking in, we were greeted by Paul... Upon arrival, he told us that our room was not ready and we asked him to please inform housekeeping that we were waiting... Well, to my understanding he did not, we waited 2 hrs to check in and after 3pm, they told us that housekeeping just went to our room at 3:23pm... ... Read more

Just finished checking out from the HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS and it was awesome . I stayed for 2 nights and Pamela along with Melissa at the front desk were the best at helping us with any questions and/or concerns . Don't have any complains ! The shuttle was always on call to the sesame place back and forth !

My family and I stayed at HIE for 4 nights during our trip to Sesame Place and Philadelphia. The staff was nice and the hotel and room was very clean. The shuttle to Sesame Place is a great asset and the driver (we had the same one eat time) was very friendly and helpful. There were two negatives to the hotel - the bathroom and the breakfast. The toilets reminded me of airplane toilets (force of flush and noise). During the late hours of the evening and early morning hours, I could hear the toi... Read more

We stayed this past weekend to avoid a block party due to personal family reasons and it was perfect!! The price was pleasantly surprising with its location to Sesame Place and the room was beautiful! The mirror is everything....perfect lighting! The free breakfast provided was delicious and the quality was great (except for the o.j...looked like and tasted like colored water). Checkout is easy, just leave the key card in the room.

We stayed here during our weekend visit to Sesame Place. Great hotel for a small family. The room was a small suite with ample space for clothing and other items. The decor was modern. Arrive early for the continental breakfast before they run out of the good stuff.

The hotel lobby has a dirty/gritty feel; there's a musty odor on the first floor. I was given room 108; when I checked into the room I found greasy palm prints and finger prints all over the headboard of the single king sized bed. When I went to the desk to ask for someone to clean the room properly I was told there were no housekeepers available and I was given a different room (on the 2nd floor). The elevator was disgusting (dirty) and the second room was no better than the first. There wa... Read more

Our family stayed due to the shuttle & conscience of the location. Had no problem with my stay. Future guests need to understand that during open season of Sesame Place, hotel will have lots of families and kids... so there will be noise. Breakfast lady on Saturday morning was very sweet and chatted with us for a bit. The gentleman at the desk Saturday morning helped us with the shuttle. Thank you for a great stay

We stayed at this hotel 3 nights on our trip to sesame place. It's an average hotel. Breakfast is ok. They offer complimentary shuttle to sesame place which is about 5 min away. Housecleaning at our room the second day wasn't good. Our towels didn't get replaced with clean towels. We didn't get cups replaced as well. Had to call front desk so they could bring us clean towels and shampoo as well. There was only one miniature shampoo not enough to even wash a child's hair. How they expect to have ... Read more

I was pleased with this hotel visit. The rooms were clean and spacious enough. I wish the beds were more comfortable but overall a nice stay. The staff was friendly. Breakfast was typical of a continental breakfast. I would recommend the hotel.
