Dirty, smells moldy, reeks of cigarette smoke. Bunch of strange characters use the parking lot for garbage. Furniture everywhere on the walkways. Hallways are dirty and are filled with flies. No one at the desk most of the time. Pool is a swamp. No ice, pop machines. Bed is like a rock

This hotel is the worst stay we have ever had. Non smoking rooms smelled like smoke and has a terrible order through the whole place. The room was large but everything looked and felt dirty. The rooms had flies and bugs in it. There was no phone in our room and the refrigerator did not work in our room or our friends room. Our TV wasn't working. Two double beds felt dirty and we slept on top of the covers the first night. The blanket had a big joke in it. Wore flip flops in the shower and clean ... Read more

I came here with my 2 year old to go to Dutch Wonderland. First thing to advise that this is NOT the Red Roof that's close to the park, it's farther down the road. Secondly, they falsely advertised a pool. When we got there- the pool was boarded up. The people the "hang out" in the parking lot are scary. There was all kinds of garbage & furniture outside and in the hallways. There was on house, it looked like a "crack house" near the parking lot close to my car. 4 young men drinking in the next... One of the worst motel rooms I've ever seen. Staff at front desk was rude, condescending and arrongant. The room was filthy. Sheets had nastiness all over them and room reeked of cigarette smoke, despite the ignorant desk clerk stating it was a non-smoking room. Wanted to drag her in to smell it herself. No headboards on beds. Bathroom filthy. If you value your health and want no communicable diseases, STAY AWAY FROM THIS MOTEL!

First thing you see when you drive in is a broken down slimy green pool that is disfunctional. The registration area was moldy smelling. The sheets has stains on them that were very obvious what they were from. It reeked of cigarette smoke despite advertising a smoke-free motel. We cancelled right then and there and were charged for the room which I am still trying to fight. it was total false advertising and please do not go there!

Should have been called the Leaky Roof Inn - granted it was an extremely rainy day, but - the whole place needs a good maintenance overhaul. Closets and hallways had boxes stacked haphazardly, dirty cloth chairs lined the hallways (hopefully awaiting the dumpster), the only ice machine that worked was on the first floor, our refrigerator did not work and probably had not for a while, so the food we brought spoiled - outer bedding had some "stuff" on it which the housekeeper just scratched off w... We had booked the room on line and it was our first stay. The beds were comfortable and we did get a first floor room. They had full capacity but we did not have problems with noise. It is convenient to the area attractions. Our only complaint was the dog walk area was littered. Other then that we would stay here again.

Formerly Canadiania Motel, now Red Roof. Have done some major remodeling to the place. It took us 30 minutes to get checked in as the older gentleman didn't seem to know what he was doing. We requested a ground floor a number of times, and he gave us a room on 2nd floor. I had to go and tell him we needed groud floor as my husband could not do stairs. So then he gives us a room inside the building down a hallway, of which we were not happy with. The room had a king bed, but not a lot of space. V... Read more

The property was previously privately owned and underwent changes to a travel-lodge before becoming a Red Roof Inn recently. We stayed upstairs in a remodeled room - VERY clean and housekeeping did a great job during our stay. Large room, new linens and newly painted, nice flatscreen tv, fridge and microwave, desk plus another comfy chair. Beds were comfortable, bathtub was a new tub surround so very clean. Hallway and room both newly carpeted. Do not judge this property based on the old revie... Read more

I stopped at this hotel after a very stressful day. I just needed to get off the road and stay a few hours until my flight the next morning. The clerk gave me a room for the night for $98. The bed was hard when I sat on it and there were no tissues in the room. I needed tissues and decided i would sleep just as well in the airport rather than on the hard bed for $98 so I went back to the front desk and asked for a refund. The clerk said i would have to wait until Monday when the manager was ther... Read more
