Great place .clean.a little more money than the other hotels but you will get what you pay for it. .and this is worth every penny The in door pools are great and big. The only thing I was impressed is no breakfast and the restaurant looks way to good to be free. But I was excited to explore the town and eat out I dint miss it much. Free parking and safe is a plus . I will be back soon.

Overall the hotel is very very nice. Looks great from the street as you pull in, lobby is beautiful and rooms are very comfortable and plush. My room had a window that faced the inside atrium of the hotel. It was cool to look down and see some activity from a vendor fair. However, when I woke up in the Moring I could not tell what the weather looked like because I could not see outside. This was fine for one night but if I stayed a second I would not like it. The check in was friendly, quick and efficient, and we were given warm chocolate chip cookies upon arrival as Hilton Honirs members. My wife and I stayed at the Doubletree while visiting the Sight & Sound Theater. The hotel is ideally located in the heart of Lancaster with easy access to all the sights and amenities that this area has to offer. The staff at the hotel provide excellent service and are responsive to the smallest request. We had a great time in our overall visit to the area and our stay at the Doubletree contributed to our short stay in the area.

Beautiful, affordable, centrally located, courteous staff, awesome pool and water park for children. Checking In/Out is a breeze and the staff is courteous and helpful! As soon as we arrived we noticed the beautiful dining area. The floors and furnishings were very clean. There is a lot to do around the hotel such as golf, hiking, playgrounds, and shopping is just down the street for any additional items you may need. To get back to Lancaster takes only 15 mins tops which is very nice.

I have always enjoyed my stays at this location. However, this time was different. I was disappointed in the cleanliness of the room. The towels were stained. The first one I came across had a big black marker "X" on it. Several of the jets in the whirlpool tub were not working properly. The first time I washed my hands in the sink the water backed up. I have Been spoiled by usually staying at the Marriott Lancaster, so I was kind of disappointed here. The lobby was renovated but the carpets in the room desperately need to be changed. The carpets in the hallway are dated. The breakfast was just not great. The people working here were nice and helpful. The pool area was fun for kids. The bedding on the beds was nice.

Their warm cookies are delicious and worth the trip alone!!! The pool area is spotless and relaxing. Beautiful murals of sea life surround you and add to the atmosphere. We just stayed one night, but I was surprised. Quite nice for a doubletree in central PA. There is an interior coutryard off the lobby which was very cute. Our room was very spacious with 2 queen beds plus a sofa and coffee table. Free coffee in the lobby in the morning. The only downside is that there are some interior rooms, but we did not have one.

I would not recommend this hotel. The room we were stuck in was an interior room. Wasn't aware that they had interior rooms when we made the reservation. It was dark in there no matter. Also the room wasn't cleaned the three days we were there. I had asked housekeeping to not clean around our personal coffee pot so they didn't clean the entire room. Weird. If you would like milk instead of creamers for your "complimentary" coffee by the front desk, you will have to buy it from the gift shop. This is horrible customer service. Our room was near the lobby so it was a bit of a walk to the pool area. But our kids enjoyed the spray park and there was a lifeguard on duty. We stayed 2 nights at the DoubleTree Resort in Lancaster. The room is very large and an updated bathroom. The beds were extremely comfortable however the carpet was so dirty that I had to contact management. They apologized profusely indicating that a major renovation was about to occur. They compensated us by a free night. This was both appreciated and appropriate. They have an excellent management staff that immediately took care of the issue with us. In addition they made sure that the carpet... Read more

We booked a suite because we were traveling with our 17-month-old son who will not sleep in the same room with us. We picked the resort because it has some kid activities that we could do in the morning until Dutch Wonderland opened at 10. When we arrived at the hotel, we were told there was "water damage" to the room and we had been rebooked at an inn. The inn was really a run-down motel and did not have suites. The woman at the Doubletree check-in tried to tell me I didn't book a suite, but i... Read more

We recently stayed at the Double Tree in Lancaster for business purposes. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Upon arrival, we were given warm chocolate chip walnut cookies. The cookies were gone before we reached the elevator! The room was quiet, comfortable, and included free wifi. We requested a slightly later check out and were given extra time without any fuss. We greatly enjoyed the indoor swimming pool and hot tub in the evenings. Would stay again if in the area.

I don't think Paris Hilton would like it at this Hotel.; The place is run down, the carpets have stains on them, info booklet in the room had some sort of sticky stuff in it when I tried to open it. The corners of the bathroom needed some attention, the wall paper was pealing in the bathroom. The vacuum must have been out of order as the dust was quite thick behind the night stands and head boards. The window was fogged, in general the place is ruff. So a good note the linen was nice, the beds c... Read more

We stayed at the Doubletree in our visit to Dutch Wonderland, FYI, don't recommend Dutch when PA starts school, no one working rides and concessions. You enter to a nice lobby, with friendly staff. Marie at front desk, gave us our keys and yummy warm cookies. I was grateful that she was able to switch our room to a higher floor after check in. We stayed at this resort for a reunion. The facility and the grounds surrounding it were beautiful. Everything was immaculate. The staff could not have been more pleasant and helpful. We booked our room at the Double Tree for $149 and saw that to stay two nights, the rate increased to $205. We chose to book for one night and see if we could get a better rate upon check-in for the extra night. From the get-go the lady seemed exasperated and bothered that I asked where the restroom was. There for a reunion weekend. All services great except the food. Key words, no taste. Mexican food is to taste authentic. A banquet dinner is not know to be of exceptional quality, but if you order a beef dinner meal, I think it should be eaten. Not fought over to cut it or have to chew the life out of it to swallow. We had a breakfast, lunch and a dinner there for our three day stay. Ate a lot at Karenkamps market for tasty food items or our local restaurants.

There is a great marketplace across the street with delicious homemade breakfast options if you feel the Doubletree room service breakfasts are too pricy (which I did). The pool and water park are beautiful and the workout room is well-kept. I am looking forward to going back next year!

Daughter married at nearby Drumore Estate (exquisite) and we all stayed here the night of. For a mid level hotel, they do a very good job. This ain't the Ritz, so expect the rooms to be functional, not fancy. The bathrooms are clean though you might five some peeling wall paper. Not a big deal. Food also functional. But the folks who work here make it an easy stay. Also an easy shot into downtown Lancaster and if you're lucky you'll get to drive the local countryside. Just beautiful.

I love to post pictures, but all I could post was a salad because I was so disappointed. Every time we go to Sight and Sound, we always have a nice dutch buffet. This was hardly that. It consisted of some sort of creamy fish, bland chicken pot pie, bland (I think it was beef), string beans and assorted pies. I think the salad and the dessert was the best and I'm not a dessert person. If there was a kid at the table, people would ask for at least half a chicken finger and fries. That's a shame.

Everything from the service, to details of the room, its cleanliness and comfortable beds were par excellence. If I had to pick something to be improved on, it would be the loudness of the vent system in my bathroom, because it's connected to the light, there was no avoiding it. Otherwise, 10/10.
