Whoever wrote that the beds were comfortable can sleep on anything. I always look at reviews because a comfortable bed is the most important to me. These beds were certainly not comfortable to me!! The room was clean and the housekeeping staff was very nice and eager to make out stay better. They brought me a couple more pillows to help me get it where I could sleep. Our room was as quiet as one could expect in a chain hotel. Front Desk staff was nice and the office/computer setup they have... Read more

I stayed at this hotel numerous times for business. The location I great for shopping and the nearby food choices within walking distance is the best. I have stayed in a lot of rooms at this hotel I have only had a few beds that really need to be replaced, but most of the rooms had nice beds and pillows. if you have a balcony there is some outside noise you can hear but for me traveling for business I tune it out easily with the AC.

Made my way through the spaghetti maze of roads around King of Prussia and the Mall to the HI Express. I can deal with an accessible room, but was a bit steamed that my request for high floor, away for elevator/lobby was ignored. The weak explanation - 'we're sold out'. Bathroom was a real trip. No vanity, just a sink. Nowhere to put anything. Lighting very dim - I'll have to trust my shaving expertise because it won't be evident until I go outside. No weights in the fitness center. A few shabby... Read more

We were traveling on the PA Turnpike and decided at the last minute to stay here overnight. It was easy to find from the turnpike, and is right across the street from the King of Prussia Mall. They had clean rooms, a decent breakfast buffet, and friendly, helpful staff. We would definitely stay here again.

We asked to check in early and they were able to accommodate us. Breakfast was great, with two sides to go down, it was quick. The staff did an excellent job considering there were soccer families and horse show families so the hotel was full. This is well located to many roads and restaurants. Worth every penny. Only item to consider is there are 2 elevators and they are very slow.

We were here for the Devon Horse Show and found this hotel to be very conveniently located to the highways and to really, really good restaurants. The morning person who handled the breakfast deserves a shout out. I don't know her name but she was super friendly.

Hotel and room was clean and the staff was friendly. Good continental breakfast. The bathroom and the room we were in was very small. The air conditioner monitor was on the wall next to the head of the bed and blowed on my head all night. Our room was the last one on the hallway. I'm not sure if all the rooms were set up like that. It was a double queen room. We would stay there again.

We missed our flight from Seattle to Phila, and the front desk kindly cancelled the 1st day of my 3-night reservation. When we arrived the next AM, tired after taking the next flight - a "redeye" - Marcia, the day clerk, got Housekeeping to clean a room STAT and even telephoned me to tell me it was ready, so we got into a room at 10 AM. Room smelled a little damp, but I think this may be due to the weather which is damp much of the year. Everything functioned well, and I have to note that after ... Read more

Overnighted here with our newly adopted daughter to visit CHOP. Hotel was ok. We had a king suite. Breakfast was good. Room needed work. A/C was very annoying. No option to have the fan on constantly, even with fan turned on high. Every time the A/C would kick on, my daughter would cry. We had a horrible night sleep. Thank goodness we had a noise maker app to block out the noise. Overall a decent hotel.

Had to stay overnight while my son stayed and eastern university for a baseball camp. Short 7 minute ride to school. Rooms were updated and clean. Hotel is right next door to king of Prussia mall. The suites were roomy. Would return again in the future.

Room 720 was ours for the night. The beds were comfortable with a choice of pillow. I was a bit concerned when I discovered the room faced the highway - noise and light. I was pleased to find blackout curtains which worked well. The noise of the highway was negligible, however the noise of the ac unit was not. It clunked and rattled every time it cycled on. Had this not been the case I would have given 4 circles. Bottom line - a nice respite at a reasonable price.

I stayed here a long time ago and didn't think it was that great, but had seen somewhere where they had done some remodeling and thought I would give it another try. The lobby isn't too bad, but the elevators were the slowest on earth and both of them needed vacuumed desperately. The hallways could really use an update; upon entering the room it is ok, but if you look out the doors to the little balcony, the floor was gross - so dirty and awful. The bathroom was so small, I think the counter ... Read more

This was my second stay here in the past year and things have improved greatly! Smooth friendly check in, quiet room, great breakfast, great internet. Very clean room. Only complaint is the towels in the spa and room were old and worn. With new towels this would be an A+ HIE.

When we arrived, we were greeted graciously and upgraded to a suite due to my membership status. The suite was huge but there was a sickening smell throughout and hair was in the bathtub and sink. Because the room was so large and we wanted to stay, we went to the local Walmart (just a couple of blocks away) and purchased Lysol wipes and spray. After we cleaned, we left and went to mall for a couple of hours. When we returned, we noticed that sickening odor again. The lady at the front desk apol... Read more

I checked in on a Thursday, and was geeted promptly and very courteously. My check took less than 5 minutes. My room was exceptionally clean, and had way more room than I needed (I had a king room with balcony). The bed was very comfortable, a flat screen tv, keurig coffee maker (a huge plus for me!), a mini fridge, and a microwave. The only flaw in my room was a noisy air conditioner (the cover wasn't properly secured). Breakfast was as advertised, and ready promptly at the times promised. The ... Read more

This is a typical Holiday Inn Express,, what you have come to expect. ((I always stay at Holiday Inn Express's whenever possible )).. It has a Hooters within a stones throw from the hotel. If you don't know the area, it can be tricky to get into..My Garmin didn't pick up on the fact that the road splits with a left turn into the parking lot..If you miss the turn, a quick trip thru the mall, will bring you right back to the hotel. I was upgraded to a King Suite, Room #203.. which had a separate l... Read more

Stayed here for one night with my three young adult children. Very clean room with comfy beds. They had a weekend relax program going on which kept free breakfast and check out open until noon, which was great for us. A very nice and ample breakfast. Plenty of room to find a table, and friendly staff. Reasonably priced. Right next to the mall (could hear the traffic but it wasn't terrible). Close to Villanova, which helped us. Would def look to stay here again.

We checked in Friday for Parents Weekend. No early checkin by phone or email. Upon arrival in our room at 9pm we noticed the sheets on one of the beds were stained or dirty. The phone in the room didn't work to call the front desk. We moved sheets and made alternate arrangements. The second night we returned to the room at 9pm to find a room that hadn't been serviced nor had the sheets been changed =change laundry notice had been put on the bed. We had to use our cell phone to contract the front... Read more

I stayed here two nights this past weekend and I thought it was very nice, the room was clean and it was quiet. I'm pretty sure they have free breakfast. When I travel, I usually like to try local places for breakfast. The only thing I complained about to someone was I thought the elevators were a little slow but it was a very nice place.

The hotel is conveniently located one block away from the King of Prussia Mall (2nd largest in America). They offer free parking for guests and complimentary breakfast. The room we stayed was clean and neat, only reason why I'm putting 4 stars instead of 5 is because we found an open package of condom on the carpet of one of the halls.

Front staff was friendly, the people that put out breakfast were also friendly and very efficient, it the housekeeping and overall upkeep need a lot of improvement. I've stayed here 3 times in the last 4 months, the first time housekeeping just blew us off, the second staff the room smelt like smoke so bad that they just left me with a can of air freshener, and the third stay there was a large pan a rotten and smelly leftovers in the fridge, along with a broken door handle for the sliding door... This place was in a great location for me and so handy to stroll across to the mall. The reception area was really brightly lit as was the small lounge area. Dimmed lighting would have been more appealing and made it feel more relaxed. The bathrooms were equipped with basic toiletries and the shower was really powerful. The bedrooms were spacious with a large flatscreen TV and an under counter fridge. I felt the room service could have cleaned around the foot of the beds better. Normally beds a... Read more

This hotel is a solid 2 Star place. Set your expectations. For something in KoP area it ranks on lower 1/3. Cleanliness is average, carpet frayed and overall hotel needs deep cleaning. Rooms have been updated recently but place smells, eithre due to poor air circulation or just tight quarters. Breakfast area is small, dark, dingy and doesn't offer anything but sugar snacks and such. Tons of break products, imitation eggs, sugary pancakes and pastries. I have a hard time understanding all of the overly positive reviews. We had an upper floor room that faced the highway. We could hear the highway noise all night; from the time we checked in at 7pm until we fell asleep we could hear the loud engine noise of a semi truck parked in the lot and at 5 am there was at least an hour of a truck beeping noise in the parking lot. If you are one of the lucky people who can sleep through anything or maybe if you get a room in the back, this might not be a ... Read more

Here for one night. Don't think I'd choose for a longer stay. Close to highway and the mall. Odd traffic pattern so it is helpful to ask the front desk if you want to go to the mall for dinner or shopping. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The hotel, however, was just average. The halls and elevators needed vacuuming; the room was warm when we arrived and never seemed to cool down overnight even though both outer room (this was a king suite with 1 bedroom, one living room, 2TVs, sink, micro... Close enough to the dog show and a good price. We have stayed here a number of times before always a good value, clean and people are very nice. The breakfast was the same some of the breads/bagels, English muffins seam to be old. But other than that a good place to stay.
