For the price I paid, I expected much less than what I got. Everything was clean and unstained, including the bedding. The heater smelled a bit when you first turned it on but that is expected with any heater. Staff were all pleasant and eager to make my stay a great one. Will be back next year!

The staff was friendly. The breakfast was good. The room was nice but small. The room needed to be vacuum better. The t.v. keep upgrading every ten minutes. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel was very modern.

Very convenient to the highway; bright colors in the room and it seemed clean enough. Was good for the one night passing through but I wouldn't suggest a family staying here if you are visiting Hershey. Breakfast was definitely "continental". Carbs and coffee - that's it. As we were thinking it, one guest summed it up well as she looked around the breakfast area with the same empty look we had and said "absolutely nothing nutritious". But it was a clean room with a decent night's sleep for ... Read more

Econo Lodge is probably the most variable of the Choice Hotels brand. This one is one of the nicer ones. It is all indoors unlike some motel version of Econo Lodge's. The room was clean, bathroom was a little small, but functional. The hotel sits along I81 so depending on the side you are on there may be some road noise, but it was not too loud. For the money, it was certainly a good value.

This hotel is literally right off I-81. It sits back off the main road and the entrance can be a bit hard to find especially if it's dark. It appears to have very little parking, so busy nights may be a problem for some, but it looks to have larger vehicle parking up on the hill. My room was on the backside of the hotel with a view of the open grassy lot behind the hotel which was nice to see birds and such. It is a 2 story inside corridor hotel with NO elevator, so if stairs are a problem reque... Read more

The check in person was friendly. The hotel is off I-81, but not highly visible off the main road. However, there are large signs to point where the hotel is. The room was clean. The mattress was a little lumpy. The room had a good amount of receptacles. I liked that the sink was located outside the bathroom. The internet on the computer in the lobby was really, really slow. The breakfast area was small. There were only 2 tables and a bar area. Breakfast was bread, waffles, pastries, ce... Read more

Hotel is conveniently located just off I-81. Our non-smoking room was well equipped for the low price. Single queen bed, refrigerator, microwave, iron/ironing board, safe, spacious bathroom. Honestly was very surprised how nice the room was for the entry level rate! Got there late and left early so didn't inspect room too much. Did not take notice of any dirt in room. Lobby smelled smoky. Continental breakfast is pretty sketchy - coffee, juice, cold cereal and bagels covers most of menu. But, yo... Read more

This was probably one of the smallest hotels I have been to, but the room was very spacious, clean and lovely. The continental breakfast was nice and the price was great! It was right off the highway and close to many places to eat.

We weren't there very long because we got in late after a concert, but our room was clean and had all of the basic things - safe, microwave, mini fridge, TV. The shower was decent sized with decent pressure and warm water. I found the pillows lackluster (flat) but the bed was comfortable. The majorly disappointing thing was the continental breakfast. They didn't really have any "healthy" options, and didn't have very many options overall, but there's a nearby Perkins if you're willing to purchas... Read more

Located just off 81, but far enough to be quiet. Updated hotel, clean, good parking, safe. Good bedding, easy checking and out. Breakfast attendent was wonderful. Breakfast area is tiny, but food is ok, with waffle machine.

Horrible. Staff was rude & it was over priced for the accommodation. Didn t even have a working vending machine on property. Beds were ok, but the slamming of doors all night long in the hall ways and the smells of the room, we're bad. Wouldn't go back and will avoid Econo Lodge from here on out. We travel alot, too bad this place put a bad taste out there. :(

Nice place, very clean, bed a little lumpy but I slept okay. Very friendly and helpful staff, average continental breakfast, waffles but no eggs. Ignore review for Hershey Lodge in Hershey, PA. I didn't stay there. I stayed at the Econo Lodge in Harrisburg.

This place was excellent for the price we paid. It was spotless. The beds were clean. They offered a small breakfast area with waffles, muffins, cereal ,juice, coffee and tea. It was about a 10 minute drive to Hershey park. We paid $75 plus taxes and fees for a family of four. There was no pool. We would stay here again. It wasn't anything fancy, but was clean. There was a small fridge in the unit. The driveway was difficult to see the first time and the building is set back off the road. The a... Read more

First off the rooms were very small. They had no elevator, which is very inconvenient when traveling with senior citizens and small children. The room was clean, but very limiting for our family. The continental breakfast was very limiting as well. Little to no room to sit and/or eat.

A friend and I stayed here for the Hershey Park Mixtape concert. The staff was very pleasant, let us check in a little early, and gave us great directions ( 10 mins away) to Hershey. Not much around it, but quiet, clean , and easy to get to. I would recommend this hotel!

A friend and I stayed for a concert at Hershey Park. We had low expectations, but were pleasantly surprised. The lobby seemed recently remodeled and offered a great first impression. The room was large and very spacious. The AC worked well, and the room was clean. I would recommend for anyone on a budget. The hotel was also right off the highway which was a plus.

I am a diamond member of Choice Hotels and usually stay at Comfort Suites. Due to some recent reviews at the local Comfort Suites we decided to check out the Econo Lodge as it looked pleasant from the outside. The four things that are most important to me as a business traveler is that the internet has to work efficiently, the air conditioner has to really cool, the sheets/towels and room need to be clean, and the staff helpful and pleasant. Bingo on all four accounts. We had a wonderful sta... Read more

Every August, I take my son to Hershey Park. A 10-minute drive from the park gets us a clean room for literally half the price of a hotel in Hershey proper. We have been staying here for the past three or four years (the desk clerk recognized us the last time we checked in). The staff is always friendly and courteous at check-in and check-out. Clean room, hot shower, comfortable beds, and we feel safe and secure for less than $100. It's not fancy, but it's perfect for what we need.

Just minutes from downtown Hershey where you can enjoy Hershey Park, The Chocolate World and the museum. The hotel is nothing fancy, a little old but on a quiet street and pretty low key. Very nice hotel associates made it a great stay.
