My son and I stayed overnight for the second time in the Inn for a quick trip to the area for the train attractions--it is 10 minutes from Strasburg and directly adjacent to Dutch Wonderland and several good chain restaurants. The Inn is solid--clean reception and breakfast area, nice lobby, and the room was Holiday Inn class and immaculate. The pool area is similarly good--again, clean if not ornate and a nice place for a quick swim or Jacuzzi but not necessarily any place you'd like to hand ... Read more

Excellent location right across from Dutch Wonderland and between the 2 different outlet centers. Rooms recently got new carpet which was nice. Halls and common areas undergoing flooring upgrade currently. We stayed using a AAA rate and they asked to see my card upon check-in (no one had ever asked anywhere else). I did not have it with me, but thankfully, she "made a one time exception" for me. The room was nice, but we found 2 large millipedes in our 4th floor room, which was a little unnervi... Read more

great! I have been coming to lancaster for more than five years now and i' ve yet to stay at a nicer hotel or motel that offers as much as this one for this price. In fact, we were surprised that the reviews lived up to the rating... this motel greatly exceeds the two and a half rating given to it.

Always stay here when in Lancaster. Extremely clean. The staff is so friendly. All staff members say hello. They make you feel welcome. The pool in the basement is large and is always the right temp. Hotel is walking distance to Dutch Wonderland. Close drive to shopping outlets.

Our overall experience was very positive. My mother wanted to spend a relaxing weekend away for her birthday. Unfortunately, we could only stay one night as the hotel was already booked. Initially, the stay was for two people. It ended up being a total of five (three adults and two children). Ben went out of his way to find a bigger room to accommodate us. The pool and whirlpool was very clean and inviting. The children enjoyed the complementary breakfast. The atmosphere was very relaxing and... Read more

The hotel was great. Free hot breakfast that changes daily is key with little kids. We were also looking for a hotel that had free wifi so that we could allow our kids to watch one of their "shows" from time to time, but we could never stay connected for more than a minute to the wifi. That part was disappointing.

The room was spotless, smelled fresh, the beds were comfortable as were the sofa and armchairs. Even the sofa bed was comfortable! Every staff member who we encountered was welcoming and concerned for our comfort, and ready to answer any questions we had. We stayed in a suite with two queen beds in the rear of the building and it was very quiet. I would definitely stay here again, and will look for Country Inns & Suites properties when I travel again.

From the moment we checked in the staff was friendly and professional. The lobby is beautiful. The room was perfect; it was clean. Front desk called to make sure we were satisfied with our room. Breakfast was great. I liked that I was able to check my email from a guest computer room. The Wifi was great. The location is perfect. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

We've stayed here six years in a row and this was our last. We got practically no sleep due to kids running up and down halls late night and early morning. Room was impossible to keep a good temperature because cold air blows down on you all night. It was freezing or off as the choices. Shower was too cramped and water choices were scorching or cold only. Breakfast was a joke. You could never get a seat. There was never any food out. When you asked for any assistance the attendants at bre... Read more

Stayed here on July 8th with my family so we could visit Dutch Wonderland, ride the Strasburg railroad and check out some of the Amish attractions. When we arrived, the first word that came to mind was cozy. It's well maintained on the outside, not too small (4 levels) and clean. Staff was friendly enough... Parking lot in front is tiny, so be prepared to walk to the back lot. Location is great! Literally walked across the street to the park.. Plenty of places to eat nearby and all the attractio... Wonderful location, greatly managed facilities, a very nice swimming pool and whirl pool. Breakfast is average but the dinning place is very crowded in a morning in the summer travel season. I like the best the bathroom which is above average cleanliness and space.

Great location near places to eat. Was greeted by very friendly staff !! Room was big with ample room for luggage ! Our room had a bath room and then a sink on the outside of the bathroom so two people was able to get ready at the same time. We also had a small frig and microwave, with a large cabinet area there. Typical continental breakfast, but the staff was super accommodating and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Staff was very helpful with directions and helping with changing our room at the last minuet and the room we switched to was very nice.

A solid place. Nice rooms. Clean. Infested with the elderly. We were the youngest people here. The air condish works really good. My boy liked it. Free raspberries out back in the field. Good soap. Great toilets. Tons of pillows. No freezer in the fridge.

This is a comfortable hotel with spacious suites and cozy furnishings. The complimentary cookies and tea/coffee in the lobby add to the welcoming atmosphere. It is located right on the main thoroughfare, near theaters, outlet shopping and restaurants, right across form Dutch Wonderland for families. The free breakfast is wonderful, too. We will definitely be back.

We had a 2 room suite which our kids thought was great. The free breakfast was good. They have scrambled eggs, biscuits and another hot item which varies day to day. We chose this hotel because it was right across the street from Dutch Wonderland, so an easy walk (though crossing Route 30 is not particularly enjoyable). Also very convenient to outlet shopping. Having a suite with a separate living room is also very helpful with the kids, and the suite was well laid-out. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fine, though nothing particularly special. My biggest complaint is the use of excessive amounts of disposable plastic and styrofoam plates, bo... Read more

This hotel was a great choice for a recent summer getaway. It is perfectly situated in the Lancaster area, close to many attractions, outlets, etc. It was a beautiful, immaculately clean place to stay, and the staff was more than accommodating. We wouldn't hesitate to return. The only thing that could have made it better would have been an outdoor pool, but you can't have everything!!

Stayed here in a suite with two family members. The lamp was broken in the sitting area, and a lightbulb was burnt out over the vanity. Reported the broken lamp to the front desk and it was fixed the next day. The breakfast room was extremely busy, and food choices were okay. The hotel is a little run down and could do with a good sprucing up. Staff was very friendly.
