I cannot say enough good things about the hospitality and excellent customer service my team has received here at the Ramada Inn in Greensburg, Pa. The Ramada Inn facility in Greensburg provided hotel accommodations during my participation in the UCCC 2016 Points Meet and Car Show. I appreciated the comfort of room 233. Did find it difficult to keep the water from my shower from swamping the floor. My bed was comfortable. The breakfast, too was appreciated. Would have been nice to have bacon and fresh eggs on Sunday. Sausage too fatty.

The hotel ran out of towels!?! I had to try off after my shower with a floor mat. The staff was apologetic to me, it wasn't their fault, but we're rude to another guest. The band was loud in the banquet room that abuts to the pool and we were unlucky enough to be on the pool side rooms. Hard to sleep with the noise.

Any issues I've had we're handled quickly. There are always interesting groups booked here (corvette club in May 2016, body building 2014, weddings, etc) and they have bands in the lounge many weekends. the breakfast is excellent! I read TripAdvisor reviews of this inn before I booked. Most were good, but a few complained about things like shabby decor, so I was a bit concerned before arriving. I found the Inn relatively recently redecorated. The staff, including Tiffany, Celeste, Russ [the van driver], were unfailingly helpful. We arrived, 3 hours late by train [after 10 pm], but the Inn arranged for Russ to pick us up at the train station. We were able to eat that night at the Inn's cocktail lounge which served a g... From reading the reviews of this Inn I noticed a major issue with noise from the Atrium/Keystone/Ballroom beside the Pool keeping people up with the loud noise entering their rooms from these 2 adjoining areas. The woman working the front desk treating me and my guests with extreme disrespect like we were below the standards for the hotel. She also did not have the reservation correct and my IBM corporate discount added either. I was extremely offended being my class of financial standards shouldn't matter. I honestly make 5xtimes the amount she makes but after a long day and late check in we disregarded her ignorance. This time I got good and friendly desk help. I believe it costs only a little training time to give guests VIP treatment. It would be great to have a VIP card. Sometimes food misses the mark but the menu is good over all. This time my tv worked better. The room was in good order. The hall directions continue to be confusing. WHY? Even employees say they get lost sometimes trying to find their way around. But this stay was better than the last.

I picked this location as it was close to St. Vincent College where I was taking my grandson for his education. It is handy to lots of restaurants and just 10 minutes from the college and the regional airport in Latrobe, PA. It's also close to a mall and theaters if you want to shop or view. The rooms are very reasonably priced and it included a HOT breakfast - waffles, eggs cooked to order, biscuits and gravy - as well as the cerals, toasst and juices and coffee. Average at best. The room was not ready after 3 pm as promised. The clerk (the one with too much make-up) was pretty much indifferent. She took our cell phone # and said she would call when room was ready. She never called. On check in the TV did not work. Took 30 min for someone to come and fix it. We had a large group for the breakfast buffet in the morning. 10 people no silverware. Asked the receptionist for silverware - she said "it's just wrapped in a napkin". Not sure what that was supp... I chose this spot as being a place near St Vincent College where I was delivering my grandson for his freshman year, It's a bit hard to find to off Hwy 30, but once you figure out the turn, no problem. The lobby was clean and inviting. Check in staff was courteous. Parking near our room was easy. All doors are secured with the key card access, which gave me a sense of security. The only complaint I have is about the beds. I don't have a bed like this or know anybody that does. They are to high, difficult to get into and out of. I think the maids try to see how tight they can make the covers. The pillows are mushy and lack support. I just sleep on top of the bed and hope for the best. This is not the only hotel that has beds like this, so it must be a hotel wide conspiracy to keep normal people out of normal beds.

We stayed at this hotel last year and was impressed with it. This time we went and the clerk was rude, our neighbors were constantly fighting, they had a pageant there which was fine but they partied into the morning hours and (music blaring, people walking past your room drunk and loud, etc), there was food on the floor covered with ants (I had to actually go tell the clerk about it) and the breakfast was nothing compared to the first time. It has deteriorated tremendously.

The staff was much friendlier, the rooms were much cleaner and the food was better, although there was no bacon or scrambled eggs and cheese sauce at the breakfast. I missed that. Really the only problem I had was when we were in the ballroom for the scrapbooking crop, I could not get onto the internet to run my computer and my ipad. Which I needed to do my projects.
