This property is right on the highway, and the traffic noise at night is very intrusive. Maybe the rooms on the other side of the building are better. There was also a very loud whistling noise from the showerhead, off and on, that is maybe related to uneven water pressure. The shower was fine, just loud. The rooms are clean, though, and the free breakfast was okay. I don't think I would stay here again just because of the noise.

Stopped overnight while heading south. Folks at check in were nice and process was quick. The hotel is a little older, but found the room the be somewhat spacious and the room Was clean and the beds comfortable. One short coming was the shower. The shower head is placed quite low and I almost had to get on my knees to get under the shower, it was a little strange. Our room was next to route 81 and you could hear the traffic all night. This doesn't bother my wife and me, but if it bothers ... Read more

A friend and I were traveling with our girls for a Cheer Competition. We needed an inexpensive hotel with a pool (for the girls). They were pleasant at check in. The rooms were clean and they were very accommodating with extra towels (remember I said we have GIRLS). The pool was open late and breakfast was great. Overall the hotel is a little older but kept up well. Was also an easy direct trip to Hershey Park.

After spending two day at this motel I wanted to write a short review. This Comfort Inn is located a stone throw away from the exit. It is located 10 miles from Hersheypark which is a family theme park off a route 743. We spent a lot of time driving to Palmry which is 13 miles away to find places to eat, if you looking for fast food this is the place to go. The motel it self had a nice morning buffet and was open at 6 am for early birds. Our room was on the route 81 side which you can hear the t... Read more

Arrived at 12:30 a.m. after long drive, looked ok, front desk nice. But, no a/c in either of the two rooms we had (one of us is an hvac tech, so it's not like we didn't know how to operate). Also, hotel not fully booked but we got the rooms closest to the highway (maybe 200 feet at most), so the noise of the highway traffic and no a/c fan to drown it out. Perhaps because we got the AAA rate. Too bad, hotel seemed decent for the price.

Asked several times before arriving and once her about Down pillows & comforters and told not in use. Called to the front desk to get non down bedding was told nothing was available.Go to check the bed and there is a down comforter, and family has severe allergies & asthma. The shower head was leaking and the toilet in the bathroom. We were told there would be adjoining rooms, however not available here. Our room was on the route 81 side and you can hear the traffic all night long. We were told there would be adjoining rooms, however not available here. Upon arrival we see 2 trash cans overflowing with beer cans directly in front of the entrance to the lobby. These trash cans were not emptied until Sunday, we arrived Friday night. Absolutely unacceptable. Especially on a sold out holiday weekend. There were no extra towels or washcloths available UPON REQUEST. If you have more than 2 guests ... Read more

Stayed at numerous places at all price points. By far beast value and Very CLEAN. Two other well known brands in vicinity, almost double the price. Get a room on the far side of the highway or you will hear trucks zooming down Hwy 81.

Checked in and the room they gave us had not been cleaned. Bed unmade, trash cans full, etc. Asked for new room and was then given another room which wasn't much better. Pretty nasty. Floor not vacuumed, sheets dirty, hair on floor in bathroom. It was too late to go anywhere else, so we ended up getting blanket from car and sleeping on that.

Tried to do a load of laundry as they advertise having laundry facilities, there is 1 washer and 1 dryer - both were being used. Breakfast was crowded with long line for waffle maker, and ... We checked in on Sunday afternoon and were given room 209. When we went up to the room the door was ajar. We looked in and it looked ready except for towels. I double checked with the front desk and they said it was ready and they were aware of the towel situation. I also doubled checked with housekeeping and she said it was ready and she would put the towels in later. I said ok and asked to please have enough for four people. The breakfast was not bad and they had a different flavor of the waffle batter. It was not far from chocolate world and Hershey park. The indoor pool was cloudy looking, but I am not sure if it was dirty or not. The room was spacious for 5 people and it had a pull out sofa bed. Nice for the family.

We stayed here this past weekend with our two grandsons. I thought we were getting a suite but the room did have two double beds and a sleeper sofa all in one room. It was very crowded but they handled it well. The wifi was free but saturated so my ATT network worked much better.

As I am writing this we are waiting for the front desk to send someone up to fix the toilet. The air conditioning has two settings - 'Ice Planet Hoth' and unplugged. We asked for an extra blanket and were offered a sheet.... The list goes on. The breakfast was very crowded and not very good. None of the soda machines worked. There are better options in the immediate area.

I have stayed at several hotels over the years while visiting Hershey Park and just use hotel for sleeping. I was able to get a very good AAA rate, but comparing the rate to what I normally spend at other hotels frankly didn't expect much. The room was very clean and had two double beds and a couch (although it was very hard). We had a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker as well. We spent two nights for a soccer tournament in Hershey. The best asset was its location to Hershey (15 minutes). The room was clean and average. There was some wear and tear as the lamp shades were peeling. Front desk was pleasant and the breakfast was nice. My only suggestion would be to ask for a room that does not face I-80. Very loud due to the 18 wheeler s passing by and I am not a light sleeper.

Picked this hotel because the rates seemed reasonable, because we weren't going to spend a lot of time in the hotel, and it was a bit further up the highway to our final destination after a Hershey Park stop. We checked in 7/14/16. Wife asked if the bed had feather pillows and comforter because she's allergic. Check in guy: "Yes." Wife: "Do you have and foam pillows / non-allergenic comforters?" We visited this hotel for a 2 night stay. We had a king suite with jacuzzi which was very nice. The room appeared clean, updated, and quiet. There was more than enough parking even though the hotel was nearly sold out. Unfortunately housekeeping skipped our room on our first nights. I stopped at the front desk and we eventually had towels sent to our room. They were not the most friendly people, but maybe this was due to how busy they were?! You know what, this place delivered!! Super friendly staff, soft and clean beds and a clean bathroom. Free buffet breakfast, good enough at best, instant eggs and microwave sausage I guess but it's hot and everyone ate so for a family of 5 it saved me $50 for breakfast. Also had cereals, breads and waffles, juices milk and coffees. 10 minutes to Hershey park on a quiet road. Not paying $400 a night to stay at Hershey but I'll gladly drive the 10 minutes.

I just returned from a weekend at Hershey with the family. We chose to stay at Comfort Suites, due to their ability to accommodate 5 people in 1 room, for under $100 per night. The hotel is located approximately 15 minutes away from Hershey and the outlets. The lobby, room, and dining area were clean, and appeared to have undergone some recent updating. Nothing bad to say about the hotel. Bed was comfortable, air conditioner worked, good water pressure in the shower. We had a King SUite with a pull out queen sofa sleeper. We had friends staying with us for one of the nights, housekeeping was very quick with bringing extra towels and blankets. Only minor compalint woudl be the free breakfast was something to be desired; eggs tasted like powdered eggs, sausage was cold. No other, real complaints. The hotel was very busy!

Room was ok for my family of 5. Good rate, about 15 minutes from Hersheypark. Photo I had seen of the pool showed a hot tub, but it is no longer there which we had been looking forward to. Website said pool was salt water filter, but it was extremely heavy with chlorine and cloudy. We needed to use the pull out couch, but it was very uncomfortable. I am usually not too hard to please. It was HOT and humid outside and the inside of the hotel was not properly air conditioned. I thought that our room would at least have the ability to be cool. The unit in our room had a note on it saying to control it from the wall. So we tried and it made a horrible loud broken clicking sound on and off about every 30 minutes all night long. Our room was warm and sticky. Not a fun night. :(

Nothing special. Had to request towels for the pool twice, and there were no towels in the fitness room at all. Check in took forever, and check out as well (they sent the ONE staff member working the desk to check their 3(!) lost and found areas for an item our friends had misplaced.). Decent breakfast, beds were fine. Hotel photos show a whirlpool, but that has been filled in and covered.

It's fine, I guess. We're really just sleeping here. But the hotel seems somewhat dated, a little dirty and in a slight state of disrepair. Certainly not horrible by any means and not worth leaving but also absolutely not worth coming back. If you're reading reviews for hotels in the Hershey area, I'd pass on this one.

Stayed here on Friday evening of the Labor Day weekend. Not the best time for several reasons. We originally booked it for the convenience of being near I-81. We did not realize it could not be any closer to I-81 without being on the road itself! Traffic noise for the entire night, so much so that we had to keep putting on the air-conditioner during the night to drown it out. Sounded like a jet plane landing every few seconds! While the hotel was quiet at night, we were disappointed with the overall experience. The room appeared rundown, there was a leaking bathroom faucet, a rocking refrigerator, and a tv that made crackling sounds and for the price, we expected a decent experience. There are plenty of options for hotels if you're going to Hershey Park. Don't make the same mistake I did with choosing this hotel. Although it needs some remodeling and friendlier staff, those are not the reasons for my low rating. When I got into our room and picked up the guest book, a small cockroach crawled out of it!
