We stayed for a three-day weekend in January, and we loved it! There were five of us - two adults and three kids - and we stayed in a Lieutenant's Lodge. The wooden floors, ceiling beams, and period furniture were charming. The appliances/fixtures were all modern. I especially liked the slate shower and floors in the bathroom. The views were amazing, too. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There's so much to do in Gettysburg that we're already planning a return trip for the summer. ... Read more

We stayed over the long weekend, went to Ski Liberty for 2 days. We adored our cabin (want one for a getaway every weekend) - perfect for a family of 4 (we had the model w/ 2 full/queen beds in 1 room and a living room/kitchen in other room). Stayed with friends in another cabin - they liked theirs too. 15 mins to Ski Liberty and 15 mins to dinner in Gettysburg. Great breakfast! Very reasonable! Look forward to going back again soon!

Beautiful little cottage on a little uphill. We loved the place. The room was clean and really well maintained. They provide coffee, tea and hot chocolate (brownie points) and decent quality toiletries too (including make up removers!). That aside, we enjoyed the atmosphere and the hotel. The drive to gettysburg town is also scenic and peaceful (approx 18min). Definitely recommended.

As a wedding gift we were given a gift certificate for what appeared to be a very romantic getaway location at the Lodges at Gettysburg. We went for a weekend getaway to celebrate our birthdays. Unfortunately it was not romantic and very indifferent customer service. There is nothing around this location and they do not offer any type of room service, food service or hospitality. We ate the cake we brought with coffee stirrers. The phone in the room didn't work and there was less than 5 min... Read more

One of the main reason we liked the Lodges at Gettysburg was that it was outside of Gettysburg away from the hup bub of Gettysburg during special events. We were there during the Remembrance Day Celebrations and just a few minutes away from Gettysburg which help get away from the crowd. The Lodges are set in a quit field with walking areas and wildlife nearby. The lodge was clean and comfortable. When the weather got cold it was a nice place to warm up. If anything maybe a handy man needs to fix... Read more

Everything about our stay was relaxing, remarkably given to transitional ease, and reminiscent of some of the higher end time shares we've stayed in throughout the years. It was our first opportunity to stay here, even though we visit Gettysburg quite regularly. Fearing rooms would be at a premium during Remembrance Days, we were exceedingly surprised to have happened upon as well as stay at your facility. Be assured, we will make it a regular point of staying with you in the future.

We stayed here during Veteran's Day weekend in the North Lodge -Florida Cabin. This is a 2 bedroom cabin which also has a living room and kitchenette. It is made up of a Lieutenant's quarters room and the Corporal's Quarters. They also rent out these two rooms separately. Corporal's Quarters is a just a bedroom and bathroom with a refrigerator , microwave and coffee pot. The Lieutenant's Quarters is a 1 bedroom unit with a living room, kitchenette, large bathroom and a small back porch. Wh... Read more

We stayed here with our family for 2 nights. Our kids 5 and 7 loved it! We stayed in the Lieutenants quarters and it was during the week. I don't think anyone was staying in the small adjoining lodge, so I can't speak to any noise issues that may cause, but it was very quiet for us. The lodge was clean and the only uninvited guest was a little spider, I called him Sam and let him go out back to hang out with the local groundhog. There was a bar on sight with reasonable prices and you ca... Read more

The lodges were nice, but we didn't expect to have the smaller side of the cabin rented out to other people; the walls were very thin. It would be a great for a family and open the connecting door. If your a coffee drinker, pack your own coffee. They had a 12-cup coffee maker in the room with only 2 4-cup pre-packaged coffee packets (and, it was nasty coffee). Beautiful area in the fall, and just enough out of town.

Was there for a wedding over the weekend and the entire place was gorgeous. The bartender kind of cut us off a little too early and I did hear multiple complaints from fellow guest(the groom from the wedding!) about her being rude and not very assertive when her services were requested(from paying customers). But the rest of the experience was amazing. I would highly recommend this location to anyone looking to relax in a beautiful setting and in a private lodge.
