I got a great rate here on choice.com, so I gave it 5 stars for the value, but it's not a 5 star hotel. It was very clean, excellent staff, and very large room with sofa and coffee table (I reserved just a basic room - maybe I was upgraded and didn't know it). The bathroom is tiny, though. Sink area is outside the bathroom and a good size. Beds are comfortable, everything worked, wifi good, no problems with noise, fitness room small but functional (no bike, only treadmill, weights, and elliptica... Read more

This was an anniversary trip to Gettysburg for us. I had mentioned that fact on the phone and when we got there the staff had put candles, flower petals, snack and drinks in our room. Totally unexpected and awesome! Our whirlpool suite was excellent, much better than "suites" we have paid a lot more money for. It's also not a "large" hotel which was nice. All staff are friendly and excellent and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Special thanks to Stephanie and Craig. Overa... Read more

When we arrived and I went to my room I saw on the night stand a person letter welcoming me to the hotel. I have NEVER had that happen in any Sleep Inn or any hotel for that matter. This Sleep Inn had about half the usual rooms you find off the interstate. My room, room 208, looked and smelled brand new. Carpet was clean with no stains. King bed looked and was comfortable. It was a BIG space with a closet and microwave and refrigerator in the center on granite counter. The best was the sofa and ... Read more

This was the third stay at this facility in 4 years, and it continues as a well run and maintained hotel. Location is a distance from Gettysburg attractions, but we were just passing through, so this was not important. Front desk was friendly and helpful; free USA today. Room is nicely decorated (although they need to change the ugly green). Beds were comfy and in good condition. Strangely the third floor was noisier than lower floors with more road sounds from the 24 hour traveled York Road. Fr... Read more

Looks small and is small but it is freshly updated and extremely clean. Don't go to this hotel if you're looking for a pool. It is very, very small. The breakfast accommodations are very limited in space size wise. The breakfast food is OK but could be better. The customer service from the front desk attendants is awesome. They are great people who really seem to care if the people that stay there or happy.

I find that I'm almost surprising myself, writing a five star review on a low to mid range chain hotel, but this particular hotel deserves it. The location is just about perfect, outside of the high traffic of downtown Gettysburg yet only minutes away from the battlefield, visitor center, and all the attractions you came to see. The price is reasonable, a passable breakfast is included in the price, there's a (very) small pool for the kiddos. For how little time you spend in your hotel while at... Read more

Stayed twice at beginning and end of trip. Comfortable, clean and quiet, large rooms. Nice large lobby with comfortable seating as well as tables and chairs. Breakfast daily included with room. Snacks available for purchase. Shuttle to Orlando International. Waffle House adjacent to property is only option for meals. Easy freeway access. Good reasonable option from airport.

We recently had an overnight stay here whilst visiting Gettysburg. The Sleep Inn and Suites offers great value for money and comfortable, clean and spacious accommodation. It is also a short drive into town for all the restaurants and bars you need. Breakfast is included although it is a fairly standard type breakfast that you would expect from a hotel like this. We would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

We stayed at the Sleep Inn and Suites for 2 nights during our trip to Gettysburg. The front desk staff was friendly and the atmosphere was very welcoming. It is not a huge hotel, but it is fairly convenient...just a few minutes outside of downtown Gettysburg. Our room was clean and well kept, outside of some unmentionable trash in the nightstand drawer. We removed it with a tissue and alerted the front desk simply to make them aware. We were advised that they would add a note to make sure h... Read more

Great location just outside of town. The rooms were spacious and clean and the pillows were super comfy. complementary breakfast ran until 9:30 which was nice as we overslept after a late night of ghost tours. On check in there were cookies and lemonade in the lobby. staff was super friendly and very helpful. free wifi was a decent speed for a hotel. There was a small pool but we didnt end up using it, looked clean and quiet though.

Clean room, comfortable bed and pillows, excellent service. Having a microwave and small refrigerator in the room was a definite plus. Complementary breakfast served from 6:30 - 9:30 a. . Just a one-night stay, but got the job done after a long day touring the battlefield and other sites in the area. The room was clean and spacious. One nice feature was a pull-out sofa in addition to two queen beds, so the kids didn't have to share a bed. Only issue: the sofa mattress was thin and uncomfortable. My 11-year-old son managed, but an adult likely would not. Breakfast the next day was standard issue for a property in this class, enough to not make you want to go seek out a Denny's. I ... If you bathe in Downy fabric softener, light cheap scented candles in every room 24/7, hang a new air freshener in your car every time you get in, or your sense of smell has been knocked out from a brain injury, then this is the hotel for you. The entire place looks nearly brand new. When you enter the lobby you're greeted like your family. The room was great, very clean and comfy. I like a hotel that makes sense as to layout, you know, parking lot is close to the entrance, which I suppose makes in "senior friendly" regarding unloading the car, checkin, etc., this one definitely fills the bill.
