The hotel was very clean, as well as the pool and hot tub. The coffee in the lobby was kept hot and fresh. All of the staff were very friendly and accommodating to our needs. The hot breakfast in the mornings was great! There was plenty of food and continuously was refreshed with new food. Also the ladies on the breakfast crew were excellent!!!

lemme just say that our rooms were HUGE and BEAUTIFUL. the beds had dials on the side to control the firmness of the bed, which we found to be very cool indeed. the lobby is HUGE with plenty of sitting areas and HUGE dispensers of flavored water that was very tasty. our only disappointment was that there was no continental breakfast nor a reduced price for their buffet. would absolutely return for another stay.

The staff is friendly, courteous and helpful. Everyone is accommodating. The restaurant and bar are pretty good. The bar is more reasonably priced than the connecting Marriot. The pool and spa are clean. And there is a small fitness center. The hotel is convenient to shopping and major roads.

The staff from the front desk to the bar was extreamly friendly and enjoyable. They give extra points to eat or drink at he hotel bar/restaurant. The beds were very comfortable because they had a dial to change from firm to soft.

We stayed here to avoid the seemingly lower quality of some of the hotels adjacent to the Splash Lagoon Waterpark. This hotel is maintained very well and is clean and comfortable. It's a very short drive to Splash Lagoon. We walked over to the Cracker Barrel for dinner. Clean, great staff, a cut above other hotels in Erie.

Hotel isn't too bad but I think the beds are horrible. I woke with a sore back from sleeping in a dip in the mattress - I had two queen beds so the next night I tried the other bed mattress, but it was the same. As someone who travels extensively for work I come across this a bit and it's usually associated with an old mattress beaten down by very heavy people using them. There's a restaurant downstairs which is supposed to be good but my colleague said he was very disappointed in their breakf... Read more

Not the "Hilton" normal experience. Pool was so cold my 9 year old wouldn't even stay in it, his teeth where chattering. First time that has happened, especially with an indoor pool. The whirlpool said the temp should be 101. Temp scan was 72. Rooms were good. Staff did not speak to us unless we spoke first, including check-in and check-out.

Recently visited the hotel while on business in Erie. Check in was easy, however didn't recognize me as a Hilton Honor guest. My first room was on floor two which my view was right on the roof where the HVAC equipment was and it was very loud and seemed unsafe because you could walk right into the room from the window. We needed an early check in due to wedding venue and they were most accommodating, as we were driving in from Pittsburgh and the ceremony had a 2:00 start time. We were informed upon the phone request that they were completely booked, however, they made it happen and called me within a short period of time to let us know that we would be able to check in early and still have time to get ready for the wedding. Had a lovely bar for a very nice nicecap and very nice breakfast spread in the morning. Was in town for my daughter's white coat ceremony at Lecom. I will definitely stay there for future visits.

My wife and I spent our 41st wedding anniversary at this hotel. Upon check in, I inquired about a possible upgrade for our celebration. They gave us the bridal suite! I have to commend Brianna at the desk for that one. Apparently word got around that it was our anniversary because literally every employee at the hotel at one time or another walked up to us and wished us a happy anniversary. Nice touch. We had a drink at the lounge and we were delighted by Gary, great bartender and conversational... Read more

I was welcomed as a Gold Member verbally, but nothing else. I was not asked if I wanted breakfast or bonus points, and had to ask the next day. The bed was super lumpy, one side was high, one side was low. The control to adjust was pulled out from the bed. The room seemed clean enough. To be honest, I just chose this hotel because my Gold status expires this year, but I didn't really see any benefit in having it here anyway. Lots of other good choices in Erie.

We went for a shopping excursion, my 20-something son and I to Erie PA for a weekend in the summer. I got a great rate on the hotel and then when I checked in I asked if I could be upgraded to a suite and what would the price be. I was upgrade for free which was great because I get up early and my son sleeps in. The room was very clean, spacious and the staff were incredibly friendly. I had free coffee downstairs in the lobby the next morning and read the paper. Hotel was great.

Have stayed here 4-5 times & this was THE best. Was surprised upon entering our suite as it was huge, immaculate, 2 large King bedrms, 2 full baths + jacuzzi, dining rm, full kitchen, living rm w sleeper sofa, 3 flat screen TVs, a 2nd fridge & coffee station in the 1 bedrm! All their suites are very nice. This time was an upgrade as the hotel was completely booked. Excellent restaurant/bar, very friendly staff. Property is very well maintained. We really like it.

The room was clean and the staff were friendly. The bartender was excellent and always helpful with any questions I had regarding the city and/or restaurants. The breakfast bar is nice but a bit pricey @ $11.00/per person.

The 5th floor has a nice view of Lake Erie, a small fridge, Keurig coffee and great internet connection in the room. They had sleep number adjustible beds! Both dinner and breakfast were great - superior made to order omlettes in the morning, crabcakes and shrimp scampi for dinner. The happy hour 5-7pm at the bar was fun. The bartender, Gary, got rave reviews from customers who requested out of the ordinary drinks that he made "perfectly". Nice business center, pool, and exercize room. There ar... Read more

Very nice and clean. Great bar and restaurant! Close to many attractions. Gym, pool and business area are top notch. The staff is very helpful and warm. I will definitely stay here any time I am in the Erie area. Most importantly it's very close to the highway for easy on and easy OFF. The breakfast was better than most hotels I've stayed at.

excellent location for nursing seminar. I intend to return to any Hilton branches for vacations or seminars in the future. I would have enjoyed a lunch served in this particular hotel as a matter of convenience. There were several restaurants within walking distance, but this was not an option for me.

We often stay at HGI hotels, so we have general expectations of the experience. The room and bathroom were exceptionally clean. The front desk associate was rude during our check-in by talking to another customer while helping us, so that was a negative. Our toilet was stopped up when we arrived, but that was taken care of immediately. The beds did not adjust -- the dials didn't make any changes to the firmness. The room was nice and quiet. Breakfast was very disappointing, however. My husb... Read more

My husband and I stayed here over the weekend and loved it! Very clean, very good customer service. We were happily surprised we received a free upgrade to a larger suit when we checked in. The pool, jacuzzi and work out room was all nice and clean. Their breakfast is $11 for an all you can eat buffet. We had comfortable beds and nice, spacious bathrooms, with HOT water. Not one complaint. I will stay here again for sure.

We stayed at the Erie, PA Hilton Garden Inn recently after a blind booking through a major discount travel website. Having done this before in other locations, I had been prepared to see the very worst room in the hotel, perhaps one with a view of the kitchen roof filled with large exhaust fans. But no, in this hotel we were given a spacious room with a view over the city to the lake in the distance. The quiet room had plenty of space, a clean, if compact, bath, top sheets as well as hefty duv... Read more

The hotel checkin was fast. We did online checkin and the room we were put in was not the one chosen during the online checkin process. The room was fine, the fridge had a buzzing sound which was not noticed until it was late and going to sleep and the room was quiet otherwise I would've requested a change.

Great staff. Nice hotel. The beds and pillows were just awful. Also the shower head was very poor. Very clean. This would have been an excellent hotel if they had better bedding. I stay in a lot of hotels and this was one of the worst as far as sleep quality goes.

Another enjoyable stay to the Garden Inn. Traveled with mother, sister and infant niece. The hotel provided a nice crib with many sheets, rooms were dark for her sleep and the tub was large enough for her to have a bath. Beds were comfortable, internet strong, great location and excellent breakfast!! Enjoyed the made to order breakfast, we had omelettes and waffles and they were so good. Staff are always friendly and accommodating. Look forward to returning next year.

I have stayed at this hotel many times- as it is the best hotel available around the Route 90/Peach Street area. The time before my last stay I had a few issues pop up which were taken care of by management. One issue was that the mattresses were in desperate need of replacement. The "adjustment dial" does not do anything anymore and they provide a poor nights sleep for me. I booked with the hotel again because I was told new mattresses were on their way. SO- I was very surprised to arriv... Read more

My family stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn this past Black Friday weekend. This was our first experience shopping in the states during Black Friday since we are Canadian. The room and bathroom was extremely clean. The beds and pillows were also very comfortable. During our stay we enjoyed a very delicious breakfast at the hotel restaurant. We will be booking again for next year at the Hilton Garden Inn!
