Great hotel for not being a downtown location but only a 20 drive to the City. Excellent facility and low weekend rates. Close to several stores and restaurants. Bar and restaurant in the hotel are also a good choice. Good breakfast buffet.

My mom and I stayed here for one overnight on Mother's Day weekend. I asked for an upgraded room as this is an advertised benefit to a Gold Member. They only had an upgrade with one king bed and nothing if you needed two beds which of course we did. Strike one. We got to our room on the seventh floor and it was diagonal to the elevator. The Pittsburgh Marriott North is a very good full service property which is starting to show its age in subtle ways. It is clear that the ownership is working to update the property but has a ways to go. We brought our dogs and got a great deal on this hotel! We were on the first floor so there were people walking by and talking but for the most part it was a nice stay. There are plenty of restaurants and bars around so finding things to do in the area was easy.

Stayed here for 1 night and had a great experience. Beautiful property. Great friendly staff who are always ready to assist. Concierge is good. Rooms are spacious with all basic amenities. Lot's of restaurants around this hotel. I tried the fitness center and it's ok. I believe they need to update it. Overall a great place to stay if you happen to be in town.

Pittsburgh Marriott North is a top notch hotel! I have NEVER been let down by a Marriott hotel and PMN is no exception! I stayed in the Marriott Pittsburgh North for 4 nights recently while engaged in business in the area. Arriving at approximately 1AM, check in was fast and easy, and my room was ready. I was in a concierge floor room, with access to the concierge lounge. The room was comfortable and fresh, had a big TV, iron & ironing board and large bathroom. We spent two nights at the Pittsburgh Marriott North. We found the hotel to be clean and very nicely decorated as well as the grounds around the hotel. It also has easy access to I76 and I79 and numerous other local eateries. The staff was courtesy, friendly and very helpful. The rooms were quiet, clean, well maintained and also nicely decorated. The bar/lounge was very busy both nights.

For the past couple of years we stay here at the Marriott we love it we come every year for football season and stay it clean the people are nice it just a nice place to come to and stay especially when your going to a steeler game they treat us like family so go have fun maybe we will run into one another see you in September Thank you Marriott for making my family feel at home in your hotel

Clean and comfy. No fridge, just a shower without a bathtub, so it's a 4 star and not a 5 for me. Friendly staff. Easy access to the turnpike. Easy to self park without large parking charges. No frills, just a good comfortable bed and a clean room.

We had never been to Cranberry Township in North Pittsburg, however the Marriott property was the deciding factor when we planned this quick trip. On the Marriott site it looked like it was in a good area and close enough to the Outlets in Grove City so we booked the property. The room could have easily been a Motel 6. Very average facilities. Marriott messed up the reservations. They were also supposed to have either a roll away bed or fold out sofa...they only had a very poor air mattress for my 17 year old son. The people who worked there did everything they could to help and were extremely friendly. Great people but marginal facility.

Our reservation didn't get entered correctly but the staff was very accomodating and friendly, which goes a long way. The room was fine , although the sliding translucent bathroom door looks sleek but it's not very functional when traveling with a family or spouse. The rooms were large and comfortable, with a small refrigerator. We were on the Concierge Level because of reaching the Gold Level with Marriott. if you get a chance and are in the area, the River City Grille at the Pittsburgh Marriott North is a great place to dine or just to stop by for drinks. The head bartender, Mark Stepp, does a phenomenal job serving patrons along with Nick, his associate bartender, and the lovely Megan, the hostess. All are very professional, hardworking, and affable. The all you can eat prime rib buffet is probably the best kept secret in dining in the Cranberry Township area.

Nothing extraordinary here. Very nice staff and very nice rooms. Wonderful shower in the bath. Bed was very nice and comfortable. Only negatives were a menu button on the remote that only produced a garbled screen and a half full pizza box left in one of the dresser drawers by a previous occupant that the cleaning staff must have overlooked. I've stayed in a lot of Marriott hotels and this one is the best! The room is spacious and clean and have everything I need. It is at a very convenient location if you don't want to live in downtown Pittsburgh and worry about parking.

I can stay anywhere, but prefer this property when in Pittsburgh. While a bit north of the city, all areas of Pittsburgh are easily accessible. There is a lot of good restaurant and shopping choices within 1 mile of the hotel, which makes it easy to grab whatever you need. The hotel is always clean, always has a friendly staff, and has a great restaurant with a friendly and knowledgable bar staff. Of all the Marriott's I stay at, at this level, this one is great.

We were in Pittsburgh for a wedding weekend and stayed two nights getting the wedding rate as there were a number of our family and wedding guests at the hotel. The hotel and staff were great. The rooms are the newest design for Marriott, the bathrooms and room well appointed and immaculate. There is a nice pool, next to a well equipped gym. Parking is easy. We were ~25 min from downtown. Would definitely stay again.

We were booked at the Residence Inn across town. Our reservation was moved here and we were given a room with 2 double beds. A downgrade from 2 bedroom suite we had booked at the Residence Inn. I guess I should have asked for more compensation when we were moved. It just made for a bad overall experience with the Marriott Brand.

Our room was very clean and had nice furnishings. My one complaint about the room was the sliding glass door on the bathroom. The door was frosted so you couldn't see through it, but it didn't sit flush against the wall, more like 3/8" away from the wall. Doesn't sound like much, but anyone standing in the hall doorway has a great view through the gap to the mirror with a full view of the whole bathroom. Frequent travelers will enjoy visiting this Concierge Room. The morning Concierge, Joye, is as freindly and knowledgeable as they come. Nice property. Tech glitch in reservation made it a hassle but the stay itself was fine. I was not here very long but the time I was here I really enjoyed. I was staying here for a wedding so didn't arrive till around 10:30. It had a very nice lobby and it was a quick check in and the room was really nice and clean. Then went to the bar in the hotel which was a nice place and was open late and the prices were quite reasonable. My mother and I stayed at the Cranberry Marriott this past weekend, and as always had a fabulous night. The hotel is always clean and the staff friendly. Especially Joye and Dave on the concierge floor. They both took there time to talk to us and make us feel welcome. Not to mention the amazing cookies and brownies they had that evening. So good! travelling from Toronto, Canada we got two rooms, 1 with 2 doubles and 1 with a king and a pull out couch. the room is quite roomy even though we had 7 people total. they gave us two rooms side by side as per our request! Stayed in this Marriott this weekend. We had two room, one with King bed, one with 2 doubles and It was quite comfortable. This is a very nice Marriott. It has the traditional Marriott feel in design and layout. However, the bathroom in my room was recently updated and was beautiful, bright, and tons of countertop space. Not impressed for the rate charged. Better room amenities in a Courtyard by Marriott or Hilton Garden Inn . Save some $$$ & stay there . No free breakfast here either .
