Great staff and hotel. Right on major highway into city (20 min no major traffic) asked for upgrade and ended up with mini-suite. Shuttle every half hour to airport. Sunday Brunch. Full service hotel. Heated pool. Concierge floor.

My husband and I were on business travel and stayed here for 3 nights. We were given a suite since my husband frequents Marriott hotels. The bed was so comfortable, the feather pillows were very squishable, just the way I like them. The staff were so helpful. As you enter the hotel, there was ice cold water with fresh citrus slices in it. So refreshing. The internet service was great, too, especially for those who needed to work in the hotel room. Very nice stay. All nice amenities, too.

I personally love Marriott hotels. And like most This one doesn't dissapoint. Very large hotel suitable for weddings and other gatherings. Lobby is clean and modern. They have a bar and starbucks station. Customer service was exemplary. Rooms were clean and spacious and the bathroom facilities were perfect. Huge amount of parking and extremely close to the airport and beltway. They also offer shuttle service to and from the airport. Would and will stay here again.

So, I booked this Marriott because I generally trust the brand. This is the SINGLE WORST Marriott I have ever stayed in. Check in was smooth. Room was in need of updating, small, but passable. Bed was made, but had someone's hair and stains on the bedsheets and duvet. Tiny bathroom with moderately moldy shower. Paper thin walls. Giant gap under the room door lets in all kind of noise and bright light from the hallway. "No visible bugs" is the closest to a compliment I can pay this roo... Read more

I have been a regular guest for years and have stayed through the hotel's recent improvements. The hotel is in excellent shape; especially the new fitness center. It's staff has always been the hotel's best quality ... friendly and helpful. As with many on the team, Paige R. has always been pleasant and professional. I appreciate the courtesy she and the rest of the team have always provided.

I really enjoyed my stay here, clean rooms with lots of room and great air conditioning. I tried to go eat downstairs at the regatta café but it was a bit pricey so I went somewhere else. I got a beer which was $7 so I left after that one too but the bartenders and staff were really nice and attentive. I like the free airport shuttle which had good characters driving the shuttle. I loved the patio in the hotel and the indoor pool/gym which was greatly filled with lots of towels and complimentar... Read more

My husband needed to be in Pittsburgh for a family function, and my five year old son and I decided to accompany him and so that our son could enjoy the pool. Swimming is his favorite activity and he was so excited that he was going to be able to swim as long as he wanted. Our first impression of the hotel when we arrived was great. The lobby and room met our expectations. With the exception of a reservation issue, the check-in process was quick and easy. Our problem started the next day wh... Read more

This was a delight, I had not expected to stay over, but because I messed my flight dates up, I had too. From entering the hotel, the experience was fantastic. Erica checked me in and when she found out I had flight issues right away offered a late checkout that helped a lot. Because the US Open was in town, the rates were higher but the service was great. The hotels lobby and bar area is modern and updated. The hotel has a huge indoor pool and nice size fitness center. The rooms look like your typical Marriot but, are in need of a refresh ( Furniture in the room was dinged and scuffed, older coffe pot etc. ) Definitely not a bad hotel. Pros: Staff was quick and efficient Rooms were very clean Fast Elevators Nice pool Cons: Hotel is expensive depending on date Rooms need to be more modern Beds are very very soft and broken in

Don't let the facade fool you. This property has been renovated in a thoughtful and beautiful manner. The staff was friendly and efficient. The bathroom is modern with a fabulous shower where the tub had been. There is a handheld as well as garden shower. We did not eat there.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel, it is conveniently located 5 minutes from downtown and we recommend this hotel. Everything was good, except for parking. There is a serious shortage of parking spots over the weekend, especially on Saturday evening, when surprisingly some of spots available in the parking lot are reserved for maintenance.

This hotel is exactly as my review title states, average. The lobby is very nice and spacious. The pool was cool and the gym was clean. My gripe starts with the rooms. Upon my entering the first room I was assigned, there was a toilet leak. I went downstairs and told the front desk and they moved me to another room. This room had a nasty stain on the carpet from when you first walk in and this time, the sink was leaking. The furniture was in poor condition and the windows were just gross. The wo... Read more

We ended up with this hotel via Priceline's express deals, meaning that I chose a 3.5 star in proximity to PIT international, and Priceline chose the actual hotel for me. Overall the hotel was nice and clean for the most part. Having paid only $66/night plus tax, they upgraded us from a double bed room to a King with sleeper sofa for our 13 year old, and also brought us two cribs free of charge for our 11 month old twins. OK - I'll confess up front: I am a Marriott Platinum level member. BUT ... I also have "status" with Hilton, Holiday Inn, Hyatt, etc... This property JUST completed a total re-decoration in the lobby, restaurant and lounge area - and it worked@ It's open, contemporary yet inviting. The sleeping rooms are comfortable & quiet - a key decision for a 'road tramp' like me, who also struggles getting a good nights' sleep. We recently stayed here as part of a wedding party. Even with the wedding block discount, I would say that this hotel was overpriced for what it is. Upon arrival, and attempting to unload the bride's welcome bags and luggage, we were told that we could NOT use the luggage cart without supervision. We stay at this Marriott when ever we have to travel to Pittsburgh for family events from New York. We just stayed there for our Family Reunion, and also being a loyal Marriott Member for decades, I love this place. It is convient to Stores and Restaurants, even a movie theater as there is a great mall area across the street on the hill. They have a great bar and entertainment area, and when we we're there , they had a group that was celebrating their 50th high school reunion there as well.
