We chose the Embassy Suites because of a non-family member staying with us. We hadn't stayed here in over 10 years and the place looked the same, which is a compliment because it was always well-maintained. The pool and hot tub water was perfect, but note that the hot tub is outdoors, which would preclude its use in bad weather. The pool towels were too small to completely dry us. Even there was a wedding downstairs, we didn't hear it in our room. Queen beds were comfortable although seemed ... Read more

I was on 4th floor over hot tub (did not notice on building layout when I chose the room), and had to call down to the desk at 10:30pm, 11pm, and 11:30pm because unsupervised kids, and then later teens with a boombox, were yelling and screaming. Catering to bad customers is NOT a good practice! If adults don't control or supervise their children, the hotel Must let them know they are not a daycare, and put them on a "no-stay" list. I was only able to get about 3 hours sleep before having to inst... Read more

Bad beds, unkempt, food is not what's advertised on their website, keurig did not work, cups in room were dirty and gross, floors in hotel were always sticky. When we arrived we asked for a king bed and were told that there weren't any until we said we were leaving, then they suddenly 'found' one. Should have been given that room to start with, ridiculous that we had to threaten to leave to be given what we asked for.

Smallest "queen" beds I've ever seen. The sheets were dirty. There was hair in the shower, and my room was missing a hair dryer. It took the front desk two hours to deliver a hair dryer to my room! The housekeeping staff was the most helpful staff there.

I really enjoyed this Embassy Suites. It sits on a hill and I would not have believed it was over 20 years old. It's in excellent shape. Staff friendly and the rooms are very nice. The internal courtyard is excellent as well. I just liked hanging out on the porch too.

Although this is a very good location for airport access we were there for a family event in the area. The hotel is attractive with a very nice lobby and atrium with water features and fish (kids like this). the design is an open central core with rooms around the outside. Both times we have stayed we opt for rooms off the main corridors in "back hallways". They tend to be very quiet. The buffet breakfast is convenient and OK. I prefer Embassy over most other options and this one is typical if not a bit dated. Breakfast was poorly staffed resulting in some lines and lack of options and scrambled eggs were barely edible resulting in a monstrous line for omelettes. Otherwise close to airport and friendly staff. I think there are some better options in the area.

I don't remember who the front desk lady was or the lady coming on duty. I guess I checked in right at shift change. Anyway, I had personal contact with both ladies. They both were super. They made me feel special. I know they do that with all guests, but that makes them all the more valuable. The front desk staff creates the atmosphere for your entire stay. They were excellent! Hotel is very dated and not very organized. If there is a bell man I never saw him we waited for over 15 minutes for a luggage cart right in front of the check in desk, we checked in at 5:00. Hotel is pretty and rooms are spacious. The hotel was busy. Some staff members weren't very friendly. Be sure to check to see if you have enough towels in the room (we had 3 one night and 2 the next with 4 registered guests - we got back very late and had to wait a while to get towels). The breakfast does not start till seven on the weekends.

Stayed here June 24th for 1 night. Overall hotel appearance is just ok. The rooms seem to be showing more wear and tear than most hotels lots of chips and cracks on the furniture, bathrooms need some work, and the carpet was a stainfest. We stayed in a preferred room which normally gives the kids access to snack machines (included) not really worth the extra price but the kids like it. Well the machines were broke and you had to call the front desk for snacks. Called when we first got to the hot... Read more

We booked two rooms, one for my husband and myself and the other for our daughter who was visiting from out of state. We requested a high floor because we like to see the views. Embassy suites are our favorite because of the separate bedroom and living room so it feels more like an apartment. We returned to PIttsburgh to catch our charter flight the next day, but our inbound flight was delayed and we only ended up staying here for about 4 hours. Very clean, lovely (waterfalls, ponds/fish in middle of hotel), hotel - near airport. An easy drive into downtown as well. Our room was clean and comfortable. This is a very large hotel, so the breakfast area fills up quickly. They did have an omelet station. Rocking chairs across front porch added a nice touch.

We like the Embassy Suite brand and decided to stay at the last minute while attending a family wedding reception in Pittsburgh. This hotel had a friendly and professional staff. The property was clean and they had an extensive hot continental breakfast included with the room. The best part was the Hilton Honors app. We were able to select our own room, check in early (which is great when you are checking in really late or early, depending on your outlook), and we had the virtual key which allowed us to go straight to our room. Our stay here was exactly what we were hoping for with large, suite styled rooms, and a hot breakfast in the morning. Some of the things that we enjoyed were the pool, the ability to use the HHonors app to request items before we arrived (like extra towels) and the breakfast, which, had we eaten at a restaurant, would have cost us much more for our family of five. The hotel is in a nice location and very cozy. I was a little disappointed in the queen size bed, it was maybe a full size. Everything is clean and neat but seemed a little dark and somewhat dated to me, especially the lobby and room lighting. The staff on every level was friendly and professional. Not a bad stay at all I'm just more of a modern decorer. Breakfast was good but I miss the made to order waffles. If your not into the new new decor then this is an awesome clean, pleasant hotel.

The hotel is beautiful, offer extras to the guests at no cost (evening reception, cooked to order breakfast). Staff very polite and friendly. There was a power outage just at hotel while we were there but again the staff was helpful and made it easy to accept. They did comp out stay for the inconvenience.
