My husband and I stayed one night on our way home from vacation. This hotel was a convenient location just off the highway, easy access. There is a Cracker Barrel restaurant next door, which we walked to. The room was nice. You could tell the hotel is a bit older, but everything is updated and in good condition. The breakfast buffet was just as you would expect at any Fairfield Inn, hot and cold options available. They also offered coffee, tea and hot cocoa 24 hrs in the lobby, which I tho... Read more

This location was located half on my business trip. I stopped in with no reservation and was very lucky to get a room. Now, I know why. This hotel has such friendly and caring staff. The place is so neat, tidy, and well maintained.

This is a relatively small Fairfield Inn but was recently renovated. Everything is comfortable, the rates are bad for I-81 in the Northeast, and the breakfast provides just enough variety. Good room, good value, adequate customer service.

My great experience started with the reservation process. Needed to reserve a room for two different weekends for softball tournaments - doing so took less than five minutes on the phone and couldn't had been easier or friendlier. The rooms are clean, spacious, modern, and comfortable. Breakfast was good, staff was very friendly and responsive. The best part was that the softball tournament we were staying for got cancelled at about 2:00 pm after our first night stay - long after we had passe... Read more

Our daughters softball team was in the area for a local softball tournament. I blocked off rooms months before we arrived for the whole team. The manager was super sweet and made the process very easy, I was block three separate weekends. When we arrived the front desk staff was very helpful and amazing. I informed them that we would be taking over the common area for a team bonding event later in the evening. The team played pictionary against the parents and the staff viewed from the desk play... In town for the Track & Field State Championships. This place is great. Clearly updating the interiors (while in the lobby I overheard the assistant manager ordering new beds) but what really stands out is the staff. Friendly, professional, helpful. A special shout out to the assistant manager, Liz Keller, who made sure we were able to stay a second night through some sort of magic. The hotel was jam packed but she treated every customer as if they were her only concern. Would stay here agai... Read more

Very nice hotel in a good location. The staff were pleasant and the breakfast was good. We were concerned because upon arrival we saw a teenage girls softball team and a boys wrestling team also staying there. Our room was surrounded by rooms with young people staying in them. We wondered whether we would get any sleep. It turned out that they were all very well behaved and considerate of other guests. No problems at all. We felt sorry for the girls as their game was rained out the first ... Read more

Stopped here for one night on the way to New York. The hotel was easy to find, convenient to I-81, clean and the beds were very comfortable. Would highly recommend and will stay here again when traveling through.

Not one of my the better Fairfields. Slept poorly as fitted sheet and mattress kept coming loose. No waste basket in room despite asking three separate times. Breakfast area very crowded and staffed by only one overworked person. Wet, dirty towel on floor outside my room from time I checked in until I left. AC unit is old, noisy, inefficient. Bathrooms and vanity small and old. Staff is very nice, though. Booked my room via Marriott "gold status desk". arrived at 5:15 pm (one hour past the check... Read more

Took a king room, which was much larger than the average Fairfield and included a sofa and coffee tables. Room was older style, not the newer color schemes and furnishings of the remodeled Fairfields, but was fine for a night's stay. Be was very comfortable, bathroom is split with sink outside and shower and toilet inside. Room is dark in entry area but not a major concern. Front desk service is good and breakfast reasonable and up to scratch with other hotels on same level

The stay was not bad, but the hotel is a little old. The carpet in the halls and rooms appear old and dated. The paint on the ceiling in the pool room is peeling off. We stayed on the holiday weekend and one of the workers advised they had three people quit the day we arrived so they were behind on the rooms. All of the workers were very courteous. We drove into Gettysburg (20 minutes away) which we were happy we ended up staying where we did because Gettysburg was very loud

After traveling for work, this was the perfect place to rest for the night. Staff was friendly, hotel was clean and recently updated. The free breakfast was good and the lady working it was very nice and cheerful. The paint in the pool area is peeling, but that is only from the humidity. It can be an easy fix when they aren't so busy. We lived that they had a hot tub, most of the newer properties no longer have them. They had a nice area to sit outside with tables and grills. Our room was cl... Read more

We stayed here after leaving Gettyburg. It's about 30 miles away from there. We were on our way to a family reunion. This was a good stopping point. The hotel was not as new as some. It was clean and friendly. We were upgraded to a king suite. That was nice. There's a Cracker Barrel next door. The hotel has a great breakfast.

This Fairfield Inn is typical for the chain. But it is the service and the staff that make it special! My grandson and I stopped here on our annual road trip - this year we went to Gettysburg. We did not have reservations but the desk clerk made sure we were well taken care of. He helped us get the best room at the best rate. He helped recommend a good place to have dinner and found us a coupon to help out. This was true concierge service from a small hotel. He treated us like family!. The... Read more

We are used to nice facilities at the Marriott properties. This one was not bad. Clean sheets, clean room, pretty new towels. But something was just not there. It centered around the bathroom. No towels in the bathroom. They were on a shelf adjoining the bathroom. Why? Because the bathroom was designed by a moron. The hair dryer was setting on the back of the toilet. No shelves. The sink was tiny (36" x 36") with no room for toiletries. The tissue dispenser was on the wall - right nex... Read more

Pretty good Fairfield Inn. It was a good stay. Staff was very helpful. The lady at the front desk let me check in early. Room was clean. Wifi had a strong signal. AC kept the room cool. One of the stairwell had a bad smell to it though. Seemed like the carpet was wet and the moldy smell was pretty strong. Fitness center had 2 treadmills and 1 elliptical each with a monitor. The machines were the good ones too- not the flimsy kind you may see at other chain hotels. There were some barbells in... Read more

This was a very clean & comfortable hotel. The service was very good & there is a wide selection of places to eat within a 5 minute drive. The room was a king suite & was very quiet & comfortable. This was a very easy location to access from I-81.

A friend and I stayed here for Uprise Festival - everything was great! The shower could have been updated, it didn't drain right and 1 of the towels had black marks all over it. There were extras in the room so it didn't matter. We had a nice breakfast in the morning - didn't encounter any issues checking in or out. Staff was great!

Typically will not stay at a Fairfield. This one confirmed that I should stay away from them all together. One ice machine for the entire hotel! Cooler in the main lobby is out of order! The hallways smell and the windows are open in the hallway trying to get the odor out apparently. The A/V in the room doesn't work and is obviously on ours last leg. This place gives Marriott a bad name. Never again

I just needed a place to stay for one night. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. While it was very close to the Interstate, it was quiet. For a hotel free breakfast, this one was very good. I do agree with another review that just having one ice machine (and finding where it was!) was a little inconvenient.

On a scale of Fairfield Inns we've stayed at recently, this was just OK. Bed and room were comfortable, which is really all you ask of a hotel on the road, and the price was right. Common hallways were a little tired and I'll echo other reviews in that it is a long trip for ice if you're not near the only one in the hotel. On the plus side, it's convenient off the highway and the desk clerk and breakfast area attendant were great.

This hotel is a great value based on cleanliness of room, location, front desk staff, and, of course, the complimentary breakfast! Our room was fine, what one would expect of a Marriott property. The front desk staff "Josh" (at the time of check-in and check-out) went above and beyond. I was tired, in a rush, and wanted to make sure I got my granddaughters birthday gift in the mail. There is an outgoing mail holder on the front desk. Got my card done, placed it in the holder, went to bed. ... Read more
