we travel back and forth from florida to new york and spend 2 nites on the road each time. i would say that our stay at sleepinn was very pleasant. The front desk person was very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and i enjoyed the stall shower vs. a tub shower (my preference). The breakfast was average. I will definitely add this sleepinn to my list of motels i will try to frequent on my next trip.

Greeted by an extremely friendly staff. Clerk allowed us special parking in view of the room (traveling with a trailer carrying two HD motorcycles). Within walking distance to Cracker Barrel Resturant. Recently built motel. We slept latter than the continental breakfast but we're able to get coffee while showering and packing before heading over to Cracker Barrel for breakfast.

A group of us stayed there for a week while hiking nearby. The management was helpful in setting up the room block. The rooms were immaculately clean and well maintained. The staff was cheerful and helpful. Despite being close to I-81 the rooms were quiet.

This Sleep Inn has been a regular stop for me the passed four years as I've traveled between North Carolina and Vermont. We're talking the halfway mark. More often than not, I've had two dogs with me. They always remember me. They always give me the same room so I can easily take the dogs out in the wee hours without disturbing other guests, and well, I plum feel at home. Beyond my own needs, I'll confess the beds are seriously comfortable - the kind you climb up into and more than enough pillow... Read more

Stayed in hotel even though it was priced $50.00 higher than the two sleep inns we had already stayed at. The carpet in hallway was very stained and should be replaced. The room was low grade and the shower door was dirty. Air conditioner was so loud we thought a train was going by. Stopped for breakfast, 6:10am not a seat we shared a table with someone, looked at food out of juice, eggs looked they were in a nuclear attack, passed only had coffee. Stopped at resturant outside for breakfast. Che... Read more

Stopped here on my way to CT. Conveniently located off I81. Easy on and off. Cracker barrel next door. Hotel was very clean and Staff was very helpful. I'd definitely recommend this property to my family and friends.

Stayed 1 night at this hotel. Just off of I 81. Breakfast area was small, but adequate. Hotel is a little dated, however our room was clean and comfortable. Front desk staff was helpful. Located next to a Cracker Barrel restaurant.

I thought this was a great stop for us. Pet-friendly, clean, and right off the highway. A 5 minute drive to the Dickinson College campus to take a nice walk. We don't leave our dogs alone, so we were glad to have a Panera and a Chipotle nearby to grab some easy takeout dinner. I was with my son and felt comfortable on the first floor. The desk agent did ask me how I felt about that--I thought it was thoughtful of her to ask me, as a woman. I might pick a different floor if I was alone, just beca... Read more

Could have been a nice place but on 6-15 the smell was over whelming. Smell like sweat that they had tried to cover up with room deodorizer. It was late and I couldn't look for another place since I had to be on the job early the next morning. If they get rid of the smell it will be a hood place to stay.

Pool closed - not sure why. Call first to find out if re-opened. Hallways and elevator carpets need to be kept cleaner. Little pieces of food and trash not picked up. Breakfast was good with the exception of timer on both the waffle and pancake machines not working so you have to use the clock on the wall to keep track of cooking time. Smoking rooms available here and cleaner than most places in Carlisle so yes, I will stay here again.

We stopped here because it was a good location for a break from the highway and we have always had a good experience with Sleep Inn in the past. We were quite disappointed. The major issue here being housekeeping. There was a great deal of mildew on and around the shower, the AC unit had a broken thermostat and there was quite a lot of cobwebs in the corners. The continental breakfast was also not good. The danish was stale and I can only describe the sausage and eggs as terrible.

We were very happy with our experience here. The room was very clean and the beds were so comfortable it was hard to get up the next morning to take advantage of the nice breakfast. The night attendant was extremely courteous and so very helpful. Kudos!!

The hotel room was good. Amenities were acceptable. Continental breakfast served everyday. WIFI worked on the 3rd floor. Staff was very helpful. When in the area again I will stay here. Coffee in the lobby 24 hours a day.

We stayed here at the beginning of August. Our room was expensive (almost $150). The place was musty and filthy. The carpets in the room and hall were stained. SO gross! There was very little to offer for breakfast. We will NOT return!

The rooms in this hotel appear to have been completely updated circa 2016. The result is a comfortable, welcoming place to spend a night on the road at a reasonable price. Fair warning though, the exterior and the hallways have not been updated and are bland and not a little tired looking (and smelling). Fortunately neither of these shortcomings make their way into the rooms. The stafff is very pleasant and helpful. My suggestion: finish the renovation so the outsides match the insides.

I stay at the Sleep Inn when attending the Carlisle Car Show. This year the Sleep Inn continued to be quiet, moderately priced and clean. Friendly staff, good breakfast included with the room. A good choice for the car show.

Our first choice when traveling are pet friendly Choice Hotels. In Carlisle, we had our choice of this Sleep Inn and the Comfort Inn closer in to the city. We chose this hotel because we were traveling on I-81. We arrived at 3:30, after driving 500 miles, and were told that our room was not ready. Check in is 3:00. The reason given was a full house the evening prior and lack of housekeeping staff. The room would be ready by 4:00. I asked if we could have another room - no - we must have a ... Read more

I stayed here for three nights on business in October 2016. My room was on the third floor. Bedding was good--king size bed and plenty of pillows. TV and wifi worked fine. No trouble with noise and I slept great each night. Breakfast was typical for Sleep Inn, with eggs, sausage patties, cereals, muffins, and waffles. Plenty of parking and conveniently located just off the interstate.

Visited the hotel to tour Dickinson College. This was the closest to the college that was available during our visit. Good location, short drive to the college and downtown Carlisle. Breakfast is included which we did not take advantage of. We stayed in a room with 2 queen beds. The room is roomy but smelled terrible. It was a smoking room. The whole hotel smelled bad it was sickening. The hotel is fairly priced for the area. If you are visiting the college and the Comfort Suites aren't ... Read more

When I checked into this hotel I was given joined rooms and I do not like joined rooms so the service rep was kind enough to switch my room. The location is safe and in a quiet location I would stay again. The staff are great!

This is our second stay at Sleep Inn, Carlisle, PA. We usually love Sleep Inns. This trip proved not so nice. We reserved the room, since it is Thanksgiving weekend, and weren't sure if there would be a lot of hotel traffic in Carlisle. Shouldn't have worried. Checked in at 3:00P. Asked for ground level floor. Were assigned room 136. We knew from a previous stay that this Sleep Inn has the small rooms with the round shower. So no problems there. The hall carpet is really ready to be re... Read more
