This hotel never disappoints. Plenty to see and do, rain or shine, yet it is a great place to relax. The staff at this hotel is well trained in customer service. There are beautiful grounds to enjoy and it has a great golf course. The town is also charming.

My wife and I recently visited Bedford Springs for an extended weekend stay. Although the low temperatures in late April put a damper on the activities available, every staff member who interacted with us were extremely friendly and accommodating. This resort caters to groups of liked minded people who enjoy taking advantage of the multiple spa options available to guests. Other activities include; trout fishing, hiking, biking and shotgun sport shooting. We can't afford to visit this luxur... Read more

I first saw this place when it was in disrepair way back in the 1990's and was fascinated with it's history, hoping someday it would re-open to it's original glory. FF to this past weekend, finally was able to afford to stay due to a Groupon special. I am a person who likes to stay on a budget, so we ended up eating in town (Bedford) at some cute little places. I can't justify spending the money on the food, spa and shops in Bedford Springs Resort. They stuck us in the Anderson building on ... Read more

The hotel and grounds are beautiful with many thoughtful details. There is plenty to do during your stay or you can just relax. We stopped for one night on our way from NYC to Chicago. We enjoyed the outdoor pool, a meal at 1796, horseshoes and the campfire. We took a quick hike the next morning, followed by a swim in the natural springs pool. I highly recommend this hotel.

My boyfriend and I stayed for one night in late Spring as a quick getaway. We've been to the sister Omni property, the Homestead Resort, many times and had high hopes for a stay just as lovely. Overall we were a bit disappointed but we know there are limitations to maintaining a property like this. Our room, a resort view room, faced the front and was on the first floor. Bathroom was nice and the room tastefully decorated. The problems however are the shared porches. Great idea in theory but do ... Read more

Hands down one of the best hotels that I've ever stayed at! The hotel has amazing historic charm, yet is also updated in many ways (i.e. Bathrooms)! The customer service started immediately at the valet parking (only option) and carried on through every step of our stay. All of the staff were very welcoming and invested in our experience. Favorite part of the hotel is the large deck along the front and the indoor pool! The only downside to our room was that the only way to get fresh air into... Read more

First off, the customer service is fantastic from parking, front desk, bell service, turn down service and the restaurants. Everyone focuses on pleasing you during your stay. Next, the room. We had a King spa room on the first floor and found it to be superb. The bathroom is unreal. We were fortunate to have a porch that overlooked the front of the resort. Now, the spa. I have stayed at this Omni hotel a handful of times for girlâ??s weekends as well as just stopping for the night to weather a storm on the turnpike. I expect the high prices for average food and spa treatments. However, I had the most frustrating experience I have ever had at a hotel. I handed my Land Rover off to the valet upon arrival. There was a storm including a tornado warning overnight. When we checked out, the wait for my car took an exceptionally long time, though I called from my room ... Read more

If you go to Bedford Springs and you don't use the spa, you are missing out. I go every chance I get and the service and products are high quality. The resort itself is beautiful and peaceful as well. Good mix of quiet and activities if you want a less subdued stay. The pool is just zen. I could spend hours there, especially with the poolside service. Can't express how relaxing it is just to be there.

Bedford Springs takes you back in time to a beautiful resort that is steeped in history. The indoor mineral pool is a must see and a must use! The water feels wonderful on your skin, its hard to explain so you just have to get in! The outdoor pool is wonderful too with lots of lounge chairs. The fire pit, grounds, hiking trails and golf are all great. It is pricey so be prepared. It is just a great place to relax and enjoy the beautiful facility and countryside.

This is a beautiful facility that captures the elegance of times gone by, but with the modernization to make it very comfortable, in a restful area in the rolling hills of PA. Spectacularly grand indoor pool with mineral water. The staff is fantastic and truly there to help you enjoy your stay. If you don't want to eat in the in hotel restaurants, there are some terrific choices in and around the town. Recommend going to the Flight 93 memorial about 30 min. west.

This time, booking a room was a bit frustrating, person on the phone didn't want to work with me about finding a space for 3. Relaxing environment with top-notch hospitality. Golf course is nice but lacking adequate bathroom facilities on course. For such a nice resort there should be better facilities than port-a-potties hidden in the brush. Rooms are comfortable and nicely furnished. Although rooms are smallish, they are beautiful. We loved the porch. Food is terrific. Golf course is one of the best you'll find at any resort. This was a couples visit for us and we spend a very relaxing day at the beautiful spa. We enjoyed the walking trails and even took the bikes out for a trip to town. This is a great spot for families too.

My daughter and I met here at the Omni Bedford Springs Resort for a weekend at the SPA - it was wonderful. Have you spent the whole day soaking in water and taking a break to go outside and side by the waters and read a book and go back to the pool and then to the SPA and Whirlpool and SAUNA all day long. We loved it and the evening we had a big fire and cooked hot dogs and marshmellows over the fire. Ummm - so good. We are going back again for my Birthday in August.

My wife and I decided to celebrate our anniversary at the Bedford Springs Resort. We had been there for lunch twice before. Everything was more than expected. Got the "Romance" package, which included a bottle of champagne and they also gave us chocolate covered strawberries. Lunch was very good and our dinner was top of the line. We also enjoyed the pool, which is filled with spring water. wonderful robes to walk to and from the pool. If you go, you won't be sorry. Enjoy!

My wife and I were extremely pleased with this, our first stay, at the Omni Bedord Springs. She found the spa attendants to be among the best she's ever had. I enjoyed the hiking. The facilities are flawless (but bring a sweater, they keep the place cold in summer). The staff were cheery and attentive without intruding. We'll be going back soon.

Bedford Springs is a lovely getaway spot. A great place to relax and enjoy a lazy afternoon in a hammock under the trees on the expansive front lawn. Omni is not only pet tolerant, but they are pet friendly! Staff is attentive and courteous. We tried archery, played corn hole and billiards, enjoyed the pool and the spa. The golf course was challenging and well maintained. Will return again and again.

The resort is beautiful, but I expected a higher level of detail oriented service. For instance, our porch room porch had not been cleaned in awhile. The room has a faux secretary that houses the TV, coffee service, etc. We used the small coffee maker and two cups, but after the maid serviced the room, none of those items was put back to rights. Unfortunately, our porch area was not tolerable much of the time due to the waft of foul odor from what I think may be a pig farm. Sometimes the porch ... Read more

I was left with mixed feelings about this hotel. On the one hand it is a historical gem, with an old feel and beautifully updated. The rooms were beautiful with very comfortable beds. On the other hand, you arrive with a certain set of expectations around service, as it is a pricey place, yet the hotel cannot fully live up to those expectations. We stayed for four nights, and wished our schedule had allowed for a few more. Michael, who served us in the 1796 Restaurant, was pitch-perfect in matching his demeanor to our mood, while the food and the wine-list were even better than other guests had advised us. Pros: Gluten free friendly; central location between Ohio and DC Cons: everything else In general, if you happened upon a really cheap deal through living social it MIGHT be worth it- only if you're OK being nickel & dimed for sub average facilities and service (and a lot of flies!) Definitely not worthy of a luxury weekend. Omni Bedford Springs is a perfect place for a fall retreat. The natural surroundings are awesome. Fabulous hiking trails and pathways for easy walking to enjoy the outdoors. Food was very good but I'd recommend reservations for evening. The historical nearby town is doing well. The spa was excellent and totally worth the trip.

I went to the Bedford Springs Resort for a destination wedding. The Wedding, Rehearsal Dinner and Brunch were all held at the resort. It was a wonderful wedding. The grounds are beautiful with many hiking trails. The interior design is a nice blend of old and new. The valet was understaffed and disorganized. The price was too expensive for the quality of the hotel. The bathroom needed to be rerouted.

This resort, nestled in rural PA, has an amazing history, which is chronicled on displays in the lobby and throughout the hotel and grounds. It has been beautifully and carefully restored through an expert renovation to resemble the splendor and grandeur it enjoyed when it first became a destination for presidents and dignitaries.
