Always our first choice when traveling, conveniently located and easily accessible. It is like a home away from home from the clean reception area, friendly and efficient staff and comfy beds. Highly recommend to all my friends and family.

Courteous and helpful staff. Accommodations were very good. A nice touch was the home baked cookies and coffee available in the lobby during the afternoon/evening. Breakfast buffet was adequate, plenty of hot coffee. There are a number of local and chain restaurants close by. I didn't use the exercise room or the pool but did notice they were both in great condition. I recommend staying at this hotel.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by the friendly front desk clerk (Seth). Our check in/out process was fast and efficient. Our room was clean and comfortable. It was well lit and had plenty of available plugs for charging electronic devices. Our queen bed was comfortable. I appreciated the room darkening curtains that kept out the early morning light. I also like the automatic sliding doors into the lobby allowing for hands free entry. Breakfast consisted of the usual items. We did not hav... Read more

Not up to Hilton standards and price point . If you find yourself in this part of the PA turnpike and needing a room... Travel another 30 either way for better options. Rooms are very dated and worn !!!

This Hampton Inn was as comfortable and clean as all of them are, at least in our travels. We have come to rely on HI for an excellent nights sleep. They are conveniently located and easy to find. They are quiet plus they have the amenities that we enjoy.

We always try to stay at Hampton Inns when we travel. This location just isn't as good as others we have been to. The rooms are clean and the breakfast was fine. The ac unit was extremely loud and the noise level from other rooms was somewhat obnoxious. The handicap shower leaves a lot to be desired as it is very slippery and water runs all over the bathroom floor while showering. Our toiletry suitcase was soaked!

Good location. A bit pricey for location and being during the week on a Tuesday. Staff was above average, friendly and helpful. Close to where we were sight seeing. The room was clean, the breakfast was well done and prepared well. Always like the waffles.

We reserved a room that would accommodate our family. The day we were going to stay, I called asking if we could check in early. I was then informed that they had rented out the room to another guest that I reserved more than a month in advance. Had to spend more than an hour to find another hotel along our route that had rooms available. Will never reserve a room at this hotel again.

This is a new facility in a very nice setting. The breakfast was among the better ones we've had at Hampton Inns, the room was well appointed with both a fridge and microwave, and the pool has a great view of the mountains.

Good location. But some obvious flaws: air conditioner was so loud we had to turn it off. Front desk shrugged it off as nothing.breakfast was horrible. There were no carts to bring out our luggage. If there is no where else to stay then stay there.

We have stayed at the Bedford Hampton everytime we pass through on our way to the shore. We are always happy with the staff, room, and the complimentary breakfast! The beds are so comfortable. The rooms always clean. And we live their breakfasts!

Our stay was wonderful from arrival to departure. Staff were friendly and helpful, and went out of their way to make us feel like valued guests. We arrived later, and my girls didn't have much time to swim. When they begged to swim in the morning, the desk clerk allowed us to check out a bit late to let them have more time. It started the final leg of our return home in a great way. If looking for a fabulous place to stay in this area, look no further.

The people at the Hampton Inn-Bedford do their job with integrity and excellence! This was a nice, clean, updated hotel with everything we could need. There was a great variety for breakfast too (waffles, French toast, sausage, toast/English muffins/bagels, hard boiled eggs, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, oatmeal...etc!)

Overall I have no problem with this location and would stay again. That said, I dinged them for 2 things: a bathtub that needed to be caulked again, allowing mildew, and two double beds. I can't fathom how a modern hotel can not have queen mattresses.

Room was not clean. There were peanuts and a bottle cap in plain view under the bed. Also enjoyed the black mold in the corners of the shower. When we reported it to the front desk we did receive a gift card. The front desk clerk told us that the property was going to be renovated. My response was clean what you have!

Dirtiest Hampton Inn I've ever stayed in (and I've stayed in a lot). We went through 3 rooms trying to find something remotely acceptable for our 1-night stay. Our first room smelled like a dirty mop and our shoes stuck to the bathroom floor. Our second room had dirty sheets and a mysterious, unidentifiable (but very suspicious) substance stuck to the headboard, and our third room still had hangers on the back of the bathroom door and had water rings on the nightstand where it had obviously not ... Hotel exterior and room were nice. Bed was comfortable and shower had good pressure. But the staff wasn't on the ball. Check in was fast, but I had already checked in on my phone being a Hilton Honors member. Breakfast was the usual but the hot foods were very unappealing and never saw anyone tending to the breakfast area. Check out was fast once someone decided to show up at the front desk.

We arrived at 11 pm. There was no one at the front desk, so I used a house phone to get someone's attention. The person was pleasant and polite. The first room - it was muggy and uncomfortable. Then we found a dead worm on the sheets. So, we moved room. This one was not much better. Muggy as well. All the wallpaper behind the bathroom toilet was taped on and falling off. The sink leaked. The soap felt like it had been used before. DO NOT STAY HERE! And it was expensive. Not worth it.

We were travelling west from Lancaster and stopped at the Hampton in Bedford, as it was just off of the PA Turnpike and near the 9/11 Memorial. The hotel was fine - a little tired, and run down - certainly not to typical Hampton Inn standards, but it was serviceable - especially given the staff. No restaurant within walking distance (well, at least safely) which was a little disappointing, but not a big deal. All in all - it was fine/adequate

Being a Hilton honors member my go to hotel when traveling is either a Hilton Garden Inn or Hampton Inn so I've become a kind of conisour (can't spell word) of Hampton's. I must say each has their own decor based upon the location that they're at and this one in Bedford is no different. The "NEW" Hampton Inns are reasonable quality hotels. The rooms are decent and comfortable. The food service is dreadful. Hilton needs to completely scrap this service and replace with comparable service they do in Garden Inns. Really, the food is uneditable. Doesn't matter the hotel, all Hamptons food service is dreadful. Stay at a Garden Inn until they fix it.
