We decided to stay here because we couldn't find another motel in the area with a smoking room available. Breakfast is nothing but carbs; cereal, bagels, bread, muffins and a few apples and oranges. The bathtub drain is slightly clogged so it fills with water as you shower. Haven't tried the pool but it do look and smell clean at least. Overall I wouldn't recommend this place unless you are like us and need a smoking room and the Hawthorne Suites nearby doesn't have any available that night.

My stay was terrible. The staff was repeatedly rude beyond the sun. The manager fasfa godi at one point asked me if i even knew how to read. A woman who could barely speak english asking ME if i knew how to read. I worked in hotels for 14 yrs and never treated my guests as she treated me. Nor would i dream of treating them this way. I have worked for and stayed at many of the joshi owned properties and know that this is unacceptable. Do not use your credit card at this property either beca... Read more

I've stayed here many times and each time seems to be worse than the last. Bed was comfortable, staff are ok but I wouldn't call them friendly. Check in and out are easy. Room with king bed is small. Tub was peeling, broken tiles, and corners of the room seemed dirty. The hotel is LOUD. This is not managements fault but every time I'm there there are people running the halls all hours of the night, slamming doors, etc. the breakfast is very basic and crammed if there are more than two people in ... This hotel at this location lacked the communication most other hotels tell you. I checked in, got my keys, and tried to look for my room -- even though they asked if this was the first time at this location. I had to come back to the front desk to ask which direction I needed to go. Then I get to the room, and found that it was not the room type I asked for, so back to the front desk. I inquired, and they said my requested room type was unavailable and I received an upgrade at the same rate--wh... Read more

I truly apologize, but I need to review this hotel so you understand exactly what you are getting yourself into. A hotel like this may work for some people, but the reality is I spent $142 a night, and this was probably the lowest quality hotel I have stayed in ever. The positives, great location. Walking distance to Muhlenberg College (which is why I needed to be at this hotel), and directly across from Dorney Park Amusement Park. It is also next door to many restaurants and shopping centers.... Read more

The hotel is cleaner than it was. The staff was friendly. The AC was loud, the frig was loud. Our room was the first one in the hallway so it was frequently noisy. We booked it because the Wingate was not available with points.

Nighttime staff rude, painted bath tub was peeling paint that clogged the drain and got stuck on my feet. Cigarette burns on my bedding. Asked for a 25 pet refund because the person that was bringing me dogs only brought one instead of the two I had planned on and they couldn't give me my refund because they "had no cash" bathroom door was chewed to bare wood and the whole place stunk to high heaven. The smell made me sick. GROSS

This motel was in a very convenient location for us - about 1 1/2 miles from the college we were visiting and restaurants were across the road. Room size was small, but we didn't need that much space so it was fine for us. i noticed the outdated furniture and paint chipping in the bathroom, but it didn't bother me. The dust on the furniture, on the television, and on the cooling//heating unit bothered me, as did the hair on that unit and the hair in the bathroom. Price was great, less than $60/n... Read more

Hotel is not very clean. The room smelled like bleach as if to cover up an old odor. There was mold in some areas of the bathroom. The tub needed to be replaced. It seemed old & run down by looking at the color. There was a cigarette hole on the blanket. Breakfast was ok. You get what you pay for. I didn't bother to complain since I only stayed overnight.

Disappointed in this hotel. Needs to be refurbished. Room had an unpleasant, musty odor. Bathtub was not the cleanest. Some peeling paint. Bedspreads had cigarette burn holes. This was our first time staying in a Wyndham property, and most likely the last.

Across the highway from Dorney Park, but that's not why I stayed here. Only minutes from Macungie Memorial Park.... site of several major car events. Major shopping mall nearby is now under construction. This area is growing fast. As stated above, this hotel is clean and neat. Friendly staff. Improvements in bathroom are nice.. Breakfast area is small but there is a pancake house/restaurant next door, plus several more in the area.

I'm originally from this area so I knew where the properties were located and stayed at a few competitors recently. It was a very late arrival and last minute trip, so this one looked good. What a mistake! The place is pretty close to a dump and no service. The front-desk staff would barely look up from his paperwork and was very put off when I asked for a second room key.
