Travelodge is an old brand whose prime is past, but this motel has been fairly renovated. For the price I paid ($68) for each of two nights, it was adequate, compared to the triple-digit prices of other Portland, Ore.-area motels. The staff was friendly, and helpful when I could not figure out how to turn on the shower. The room appeared to be clean, including the bathroom. It's unfortunate that a bar is attached to the motel, as it seems to be a hangout for a demographic you might not want to b... Read more

I've been coming to the Travelodge for over a year. In that time they have been in the process of remodeling the motel. I believe they still have some drug activity. I smell marijuana on both the ground floor and upper floor. I do believe they are trying to do better. There just needs some kind of screening to keep drug users out. Smoking weed is still smoking in a non smoking room.

This is an older motel and it shows its age. While the beds were comfy, and the fridge and microwave nice, there were ants around the sink and mold in the bathroom.

Our stay fron4/23/16 to 4/24/16 was not as pleasant as we hoped. The front staff was very pleasant, but when we asked for our AAA discount, the price was lowered and then an extra misc. charge was added on that was $0.75 more than the AAA discount. The room had a nice t.v. to watch, but the remote didn't work. When turning on the water in the shower, the tub spout shot off of the pipe. We had to jam it on to be able to take a shower. The bathroom door had several holes in it that were repai... Read more

The website said that pets were allowed but when we arrived they stated that only applies to service animals.

I have to concur with the other poor reviews on this hotel on trip advisor. I don't want to rewrite the problems with this hotel as I experienced what others have written. I like Travelodge because it's a family friendly chain. This is a hotel / sports bar is definitely not family friendly. It should be rebranded as a Knight's Inn.

The hotels smells very bad. The carpets are too old. Although they changed the tables and chairs in the room, the hotel is very old and you don't feel comfortable. The beds are ok. The tv is also ok and have many channels. Overall, I will not come back there at all.

Better than expected for the price, and a great location if you're looking to stay overnight in the area for an Edgefield show. Less than a mile away from the venue. We will stay here again!

It was gay pride weekend and we do not support gay anything. Too much violence in that city. A women was shot at another motel and fear was all aobut the city. The bed was too hard and the shower was hard to operate. The furnishing were in poor condition and the air conditioner was very loud,

This hotel is conveniently located right off I-84. The rooms are tidy and clean, if a bit worn. The hallways are quite worn. There is an attached bar/grill that is great. While not large nor does it have atmosphere, it has great food (pastas & pizzas homemade!) with GREAT prices. We had drinks, then took food up to our room for a movie. Would stay there again.

The hotel is on a very busy road. The tile has many miss matched tiles, the stairs creak, it smells, there are shady characters watching customers park, for the price of the hotel, we were expecting much more than we paid for. I could go on, but won't...

Hotel was very nicely updated. Front desk staff (Joan) was a delight! Very clean and gad a great breakfast. Not much for gluten free options for breakfast or at the restaurant.

We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the room and the comfort of the beds for the price, room has a microwave and a refrigerator and is clean and comfortable, we needed a room that was close to the Gorge and this fit the bill the staff was very good and attentive

This is a decent place to stay. Needs to be updated though. My room had carpet pulling back and if you're not paying attention the tac strip is a little painful. Other than that it wasn't bad.

Holes in wall. Bathroom fan was destroyed and non functional. Our room's door would barely close. You have to lift 2" just to get it to latch. However, the most disturbing thing was the managements reaction to our concern that the buildings east facing exterior door would not close all the way, despite the fact that it had key card access. When told, the night manager stated "oh, well, the building just isn't secure." We will not be using Travelodge again. Sorry.

An older hotel that has been upgraded. But upgrade was not very thorough. Tile missing in bathroom, the bathroom door should have been replaced. It is filthy and stained from years of use. More exposed drywall along the floor in the bathroom. The bed was comfortable, though the older air conditioner was quite noisy. New furniture and TV. Overall, not a terrible place, as some of this brand can be. Price was wayyyy toooooo high, but it is tourist season.

We used this as a base to visit the Colombia River area. Great location, order style motel, but very clean and friendly. Would defiantly recommend it, great value. They have a little pizza restaurant/bar. When we checked in to the motel, they gave us discounts on the drinks and meals. We had a great pizza. Loved it.

Ok so we have been traveling around for a couple of weeks and have mixed experiences of budget hotels... This was one of the least pleasant. It seemed clean and the reception staff were most friendly. The walls were paper thin, at 1am we could hear and we woken by people just talking in the room next door. The air-conditioning was so noisy it just had to be turned off. The room lights were a joke, maybe thats a ploy so you don't look to close at other details in the room. Don't bother with b... Nice folks at front desk, a great NY Style pizza at the attached bar/pizza place. Great location right off hwy and across street is a WalMart. To go to Mt.Hood you simply exit hotel lot and head straight! Clean and friendly, smaller hotel had easy access and rooms with microwaves, coffee makers, hair dryer and sm. refrigerator. Newer tv's and excellent ac.

The staff was fine they told us that the rooms were remodeled and had a new tv. When we called and reserved the room we were told that if we stayed we would have complementary beverages at the bar that is just inside the hotel and also complementary breakfast. When we went to the bar we discovered it had been closed all day due to labor day so no drinks so we were disappointed. The next morning we went to have our complementary breakfast we were disappointed again there was a note on the counte... Read more
