The Tigard DoubleTree isn't fancy, but it doesn't need to be. It was perfect for our family though when we stayed there for a family wedding in Portland. The staff was great, the food was good, and the pool was basic, but just what the kids needed.

This was the first time staying in this hotel, would do it again, just make sure you get an account so you get the Internet instead of paying the basic or premium price, was a little slow but finally got a good connection. Again will stay again

We have stayed at this location 2 times. The full service Lloyd Center hotel is our preference but they were booked up. The price here was more expensive than it should be for this level of Accomodations. Sara at the front desk did an excellent job of compensating us for the one night the room was not cleaned so I commend her.

I have nothing but compliments for this Doubletree location. We were there for a long weekend soccer tournament. The staff was ready and willing to greet our team of 15 boys and most of their parents.! They were super helpful when we needed a quiet space for our coach to talk with the boys and they allowed us to use their breakfast area for the boys to have an early dinner that we brought in. All the staff we encountered were terrific and helpful. Our room was spacious and not too noisy. ... Read more

The location was just perfect for us, since it wasn't right in downtown Portland, yet right across the street from Washington Square Shopping Mall. The staff was friendly and of course, I loved the chocolate chip cookies. I would like to make a suggestion that towel racks be installed in the bathroom, so that airing and reusing the towels are possible. This should cut down on washing towels, especially for those who only stay for couple of nights.

Overall I had a pleasurable experience. Staff was great but sometimes you have to remind them to give you a cookie. Breakfast was good but would like more options for yogurt. Drinks after happy hour are expensive. I would give it 8 out of 10 stars. Parking is cramped. Was able to walk to a very nice bar/restaurant called Thirsty Lion which I highly recommend.

The best thing about this hotel was the cookie upon check in. As a diamond member, I was expecting better. The room was ok but it is showing age and updating required the carpet is looking old and well used. Was shocked, and was not sure if I was staying at a kennel ( a lot of dogs of all sizes) or a doubletree. Room was loud and I had kids running down the hall above us or maybe it was dog race going on not sure but kept us up. Room never seemed to get cool was warm most of the night. Gl... Read more
