We recently went to Silverton to eat at The Silver Grille and decided to stay in town so we could walk to the restaurant. This place appears to be an old remodeled motel and has been beautifully redone. The manager is the best ever and made us feel quite welcome. Our room was tiny but cute. The heater in the bathroom didn't work but we didn't care. I did think that it was overpriced for such a small room, but it was lovely to be able to walk everywhere.

This place is AMAZING! From top to bottom. Chris, you are a saint - thank you for everything you and the staff did to make this trip so memorable. We stayed in the Merchant Suite and it was immaculate!! Such care was put into the details!! The food is delicious, the grounds are beautiful and the whole place is charming! We plan to be back every year!! Thank you for going above and beyond!!

If you're looking for a 5-star boutique hotel in Silverton, you're out of luck, but this place will work just fine for a short stay. As other reviewers have noted, this is a remodeled motel and each room is a little bit different, so stay flexible. What it does have going for it is a good location, i.e., it is easy to find and is within walking distance to some good eateries, and it has an outstanding manager named Chris. I read his praises in previous reviews and believe me, they are not inf... Read more

Surprising find, most of the booking sites tried to show us places in Salem. It's a remodelled motel, but they did a great job of making it charming. 3 ten water street restaurant is excellent. It's in the down town area, which is charming, offering dining or coffee on patios overhanging the creek. Antique shops, flower shops. No card locks on the doors, we had a first floor room that had open windows when we arrived. They said they've never had a room theft issue. I'd bet no motel in Sale... Read more

In addition to the quality facilities with a lovely on-site restaurant right in town, my family and I received EXTRAORDINARY care from Chris, the manager. Without requesting, he encouraged me to take the few precious moments I had to get immediately to my dying mother straight from an emergency flight from Australia then collapsing into my hotel room without an immediate registration or other hotel logistics until the next morning. With an aching jet lag heart, I cannot think of a better way for... Read more

Stayed one night here for a girls weekend ride. Staff very pleasant, rooms were very clean and very nicely decorated. As we were waiting for the restaurant to open in the morning, the chef stepped out of his kitchen and gave us all a piece of bacon. Food was great! This is not a chain and locally owned & operated. Highly recommend it!

We stayed mid-week at the Silverton Inn & Suites and were pleasantly surprised. It's been remodeled and is central to restaurants and shops in Silverton. The hotel breakfasts were huge and delicious. Chris, the manager, was extremely helpful. They are about a mile from the Oregon Gardens and a few miles from Silver Falls State Park. So, a great spot to stay while exploring this best kept secret in Oregon.

This is a very noizy hotel that is more like a cheap motel with a resturant bar that has been tarted up with flowers... Don't know where all the 5 star ratings are comming from... But my standards are higher for the price I would expect way more. The rooms were very expensive and were, small, cramped and everything smelled of Fabreze. NOT recomended.

My husband and I stayed at the Inn last Friday and were pleased with the room and its location to the town. Walked to all the shops and restaurants and the service was perfect. Our room was clean, quiet and had all the basics. We dined in the restaurant downstairs for breakfast and enjoyed a delicious meal fit for a king. I would definitely stay there again.

I picked up my brother in Salem and had not seen him for a long time. The 1st night of our trip to Colorado we stayed at the Inn. The manager Chris was such a nice and welcoming person. He upgraded us to 2 very unique rooms, each decorated differently and we both loved it. It was a great surprise.
