Our flight was delayed by weather and we chose this hotel for our "extra" night. It was such a nice experience, I would consider booking my whole stay here next time, even though it was a bit pricey. The staff were all pleasant and helpful, from the reservationist on the phone to the shuttle drivers and front desk staff to the staff in the breakfast area. The room was clean and offered more amenities than we needed for just one night, including a kitchenette with a dishwasher. We also didn't... Read more

From the moment I checked in, my stay was absolutely perfect. As a person who travels a fair share for business, I stay at many hotels, but this really stood out. From the General Manager, Joshua, all the way to every employee, they made the effort or be courteous, friendly and very accommodating. The Hotel room was extremely nice, clean and well laid out. The breakfast was more than I could expect. I will stay here every time I am in Portland if they have the room. Highly recommend. Kael... Read more

We have stayed here 3 times since the new manager was hired. He is doing a good job training the staff, very friendly and accommodating. Quick pickup at the airport. The fourth floor is the quietest, third is ok away from commuter train to airport. Very convenient to get train to airport or Convention Center.

I recently reserved a room at this supposedly "pet friendly" hotel. Upon arrival at 10:30pm, I was told that there was a $100 non-refundable pet fee. Since the hotel room only cost $135/night this seemed unreasonable. I am just warning everyone that if you have a pet, this hotel is definitely, NOT PET Friendly!

The room was great, more than I expected. This is a great place to stay if you need a room close to the Portland Airport. The one complaint that I have is the location. It's difficult to find given the configuration of streets into the Portland Airport. Not all that impressed with the street layout at this Airport.

You know what to expect at a Residence Inn: a clean, modern hotel chain with bedroom suites with kitchens, free parking, and a large breakfast buffet served every day. The Residence Inn at the Airport meets all these expectations. This particular hotel is located on the Portland light-rail line about 1 mile from the terminal. If you don't want to brave the 'car hostile' environment of downtown Portland, just hop on the MAX and you'll be there is 30 minutes. We noticed a number of f... Read more

Stayed at this property for just one night in a studio King. Was totally impressed with this property. Used Marriott Mobile Check in App, room was ready when I arrived and it was as advertised. Clean, modern, comfortable. Stayed on a 4th floor room away from the elevator. Was quite and just what I was hoping for. All staff I ran into were great and easy to engage with. I have stayed at many Residence Inn's over the past 8-10 years. Everything about this property is superior to any other, including Marriott and Hilton properties. The cleanliness and upkeep is exceptional and the staff super friendly. The hotel is close to the airport and the shuttle pick-up provided fast, excellent service. The hotel is also located within an excellent up-scale shopping district. I would highly recommend this Residence Inn to anyone visiting Portland.

Nice hotel one light rail stop from the airport. We had an early morning flight so we moved from our hotel in downtown Portland to this hotel our last night in town. This is a mid-range hotel, so nothing luxurious, but was perfectly adequate for the price. One warning - the hotel name is Residence Inn Portland Airport at Cascade Station. Previously had been our favorite Residence Inn in the Portland area for location to shopping, the Max light rail, freeway access, and grass areas for dogs. We had a bad experience here in 2014 and had a avoided the property since but decided to give it another try. When we started planning our trip to Oregon, I quickly found out that hotels in Portland were surprisingly expensive, especially for our dates. This Residence Inn was a nice compromise. While the tradeoff was a 30-minute light rail trip downtown to go sightseeing, the payoff was the best lodging of the entire trip (which encompassed five different properties in a week and a half). And the MAX stop is right across the parking lot from the hotel. We had a king studio which gave us plenty of ... Read more

We flew out to Portland to see family and friends and chose Courtyard Portland because of its immediate access to the TRIMET light rail system -- the Mt. Hood Station is located across the street from the hotel. The staff was welcoming, the breakfast was good, and the suite was spacious and well equipped. What made this stay different was the service. For reasons unclear, our credit card was initially rejected, but subsequently accepted just fine. In the meantime, there were some consequences, b... Read more

I've stayed at several PDX airport hotels, including the Hampton Inn and Aloft. The Residence Inn is by far the nicest and best value. One key is the dedicated shuttle: the Sheraton, Hampton, and Aloft have a shared shuttle that can easily turn what should be a 5 minute ride down Airport Way into a 20-minute excursion with several stops.
