We stayed in the King executive suite. Room was not bad for the price but don't expect luxury. The room was clean and the carpets newer. Area had a small private balcony that could have been a bit cleaner. Wifi available and easy parking. We would stay again if only staying one night.

I spent 7 nights in this place, everything was not bad until i found a bed bug in my bed.. i couldn't sleep all night and checking my 1 year kid's bed every moment. When we wanted to check out we found out they gave us the smaller room than we have booked. But they didn't refund the difference. But the staff were helpful and the environment was quite.

Good: mattress, breakfast coffee. Bad: breakfast over sweet, exterior paint peeling, doors need lubrication, now don't lock unless pushed, carpet corners lifting, TV remote doesn't turn TV on or off with no explanation on how to operate. Desk understaffed. General appearance is of cheap ownership wanting to spend almost nothing.

It looked nice on the web. Reality: renovation 30 years overdue. And a cleaning thing that stinks like hell. Carpets were loosely on the floor, walls damaged, outside was dirty as well. Reception staff was ok, room was clean but hardly to survive the smell. It was supposed to be a good deal when I booked it - turned out to be the worst hotel I have stayed in so far.

While HJ is near PDX, room was quiet. Bed very comfortable. Loved having a real coffee cup for my in-room coffee. Having a refrigerator to keep my left overs from the Cameo Cafe and from Park City Pub was extra treat. Micro for reheating left overs and making popcorn made for a perfect stay. thanks!

Motel was obviously under going renovation. The room I was in had a brand new very comfortable bed. The real cups and glasses were a nice touch. The mirrors on the walls were... interesting. Good WiFi, TV, Microwave and mini fridge. The hallways had a heavy musty smell and the trash from the ongoing work is not being removed in a timely manner. The breakfast was better than most. Location (surrounding) is a slight negative. But overall for the price a comfortable stay.

Mu husband and I stayed here when we visited Portland for our anniversary weekend. It was my first time flying anywhere and we decided on Portland. The hotel is very close to the airport and they provide free shuttle. The transportation in this city is amazing and we were never far from multiple pickups. We never needed a car! Anyways the hotel is a little dated and you can hear every step you take. Sometimes I thought we had a ghost in our room! But other than that, the hotel was very clean and... Read more

This Hojo has been remodeled and it was perfect for our family visiting relatives. They have a shuttle that picks you right in the airport, very convenient. They also have a breakfast every morning which was very handy for our family with small kids. By the way, the staff at the front was very helpful and gave us great tips of things to do in the area. We will come back next year!

I flew into pdx very late and stayed here while I waited for my friend arriving the next day. The shuttle was fast and clean. Check in was easy, but they tried to put me in a tiny room, down a bunch of stairs on the back of a building. It was an exterior entrance and a light was burnt out and it felt like I was heading down a dark alley to who knows where. After a short 11 day vacation, I decided to stay in Portland my final night. I was looking for a lodging that was convenient to the airport and to city's main transportation arteries. There is a shuttle service available to PDX. While HoJo PDX is a little off the arterials, it was close enough so that getting to them was okay. Walked into a building to get to our room and got a contact high from someone smoking weed. The hallway was dark and dirty. The floors in the hotel room squeak very loudly when you walk around. Room also smelled like stale cigarettes smoke. Not many outlets in the room and none by the side tables. One of the lamps did not work. A spider was in the bat... Read more

Never having been in Portland before, I had to depend on the travel company to make my reservations. The room and service was very good, but the best was that I knocked my camera, sun glasses and a flashlight off the dresser and on to the floor and forgot to retrieve them before I was picked up. I was pleasantly surprised when they responded to my call and had found them and would keep them for me until I returned to fly home a week later, I picked them up yesterday. This was a first for me... Read more

I didn't need to spend a lot of time in the room so it was sufficient to sleep in. However the TV did not work and the breakfast was mediocre and not stocked well. When I called from the airport for a pickup the gentleman who answered the phone was not helpful and I had to lead him with questions in order to know what to do and when. The bedrooms were not at all like pictured on the website. I would not stay at this location again.

I didn't realize it's been a year since we last stayed here. I booked the property again because of the price and thought the room was adequate. It seems the rooms or at least the one I got is run down. The first thing we noticed was the hanging picture on the wall was listing. There was a stain on the bed cover. Next I always like to check the cleanliness of the bathroom. The shower had mildew along the edges, the plate covering the shower pipe to the wall was off. Walking around the room I... Read more

It was late on the 13th when we arrived. I had told the front desk that I needed an easy access room as my husband is legally blind when I made the reservation. Our room was on the third floor (no elevator) and two buildings away. It was 12:45 in the morning, and we are trying to find our room with luggage in tow. The man at the desk said the hotel was full, and he did not see any special request. He did not offer any assistance. The steps were steep and the path to C building was not that... Read more

I can truly say, without any word of a lie, that this is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in all my years of traveling. My room was on the "second floor" which really isn't a second floor but rather the floor at the end of the ramp. It is a glorified motel. My room reeked of urine and each time the air conditioner was turned on it filled the room with more urine stench. There were soft spots throughout the floor and the only hong keeping your foot in the room was the carpet. T... Read more

Ok rooms and our bathroom was clean. Breakfast area was very small and needed a better flow of food line and garbage cans. The driver of the airport shuttle was very nice and knowledgeable. Headed back in December for a park & fly package.

Hard to find, does not show up on Maps on iPhone, very hard to get thru to motel by phone, old and run down, although cleaning staff does keep rooms clean. NO elevator, even though I was told there was when booking directly with motel. Breakfast very mediocre, terrible coffee. Front desk very slow to respond to any requests or problems. Beds made sloppily with wrong size sheets. Good points: quiet, close to airport but not on flight path, reasonable park and fly rate
