This hotel looks like there is nothing special to it, your generic Holiday Inn by the airport catering to business travelers. However in the restaurant there is a hidden gem, the Ribye steak. I ordered it with frys for dinner, and was pleasantly surprised when the dish arrived. The size of it was enormous, cooked exactly to temperature i have ordered it, you can tell it is fresh and was never frozen because there is no discoloration and the meat is extremely juicy and red. The room smelled of mold/mildew. Went to the front to tell them and asked to change rooms, the hotel was full so no we could not, asked them to come check it out and was told there was no one on site to look at it. Stuck in smelly room!!!!! Went to the the hotel restaurant for dinner, stood for 5 minutes or more, with no staff in sight, took our own menus and sat down. Mind you there are other customers sitting in the restaurant. Finally a server came and helped us but she talked so low you cou... Read more

We stayed before our outbound flight the next morning and again on the late night return flight. This hotel seems to accept the most nights of parking per stay of any in the PDX area. We have used it before and were comfortable in returning. Our flight from Kauai to Seattle was delayed so we were put up in a hotel at SEATAC and booked on a morning flight to PDX. I called to cancel the return reservation at this hotel and it was no problem. The shuttle service works well although we had a prob... Read more

I was actually impressed with the room. The airport shuttle was excellent and runs 24 hours day. This was not a new Holiday Inn, but was in good shape and good repair. The housekeepers need to dust above their eye level, that is where it was dusty. The room I received was in good condition, clean, and comfortable. With it being an older building it had a bit of a wonky layout, but that is nothing too bad. I would absolutely stay at the hotel again, and have future reservations at the property ... Read more

Coming from Kohler,WI I know what 5 Diamond service is about. Trina was the best hospitality employee that I have ever met. She should be commended for her spirit and drive to promote the IHG brand. She made a point of making everyone that she served feel welcome and comfortable. I would hope that my travels bring me back to Portland sooner than later so I repeat the experience at the same hotel.

Beautiful location, nice bar and restaurant area, overall a pleasant experience. Our favorite part was the drinks and the bartender. Trina was such a character, friendly and enthusiastic, we loved being there. We will definitely stay here next time we need an overnight before the airport.

Decent price, but we really had a lot if problems. Overflowing toilet in the first flush, then the failed to clean the toilet (and presumably floor) after the fixed toilet. Yikes. I attached a pic of that toilet in its, uh, unclean state. The air conditioner is hands down the noisiest I've heard in a decade, seems to be on the edge of failure. This led to worst hotel sleep I've had in years. Everything looks beat up. The partial remodel from years ago mixing in with a beat up original... Read more

The people at this property will exceed your expectations when it comes to friendliness and customer service. The hotel and the grounds are immaculate while the rooms are clean, quiet, and well appointed. Do yourself a favor and drop by the lounge to say hello to Trina, the bartender. She will make you feel very much at home.

The bar tender Trina is a kick to watch as well as on top of customers wanting service. Like the new menu as I'm a local and eat there frequently.all the wait staff that I've come in contact with are helpful including borrowing a pair of reading glasses so I didn't have to go to my car to retrieve mine.

A year ago I wrote a scathing review on the banquet food that was served to our organization for a conference dinner. Our organization decided to roll the dice again and try this property for the annual event and I have to say no snake eyes this time. Sevens!! All I wanted was a bed, a shower, and a mini-fridge in my room, and I got two out of three. Who doesn't have microwaves and mini-fridges these days? Apparently, hotels that want their customers to purchase breakfast in their full-service restaurant. I'm glad I only stayed here one night. It was clean and spacious, but airplanes were clearly heard in the room all night long.

This hotel is disgusting. I was unable to secure a room at the Airport Sheraton, Embassy, Hyatt or A-Loft during a short-notice business trip to the Portland Airport area. Due to my late arrival, I was not willing to drive into town and I elected to pay 189.00 at this hotel. This is a very modern hotel. Room was super clean and shuttle was convenient for airport pick up in the middle of the night. We have a three year old and six year old and we had no problems with their car seats/ boosters being installed or loading up their stroller. Very kid friendly. Staff was helpful and there is a club room for IHG members (free soda and snacks). Pros: Very clean and spacious rooms Cons: No free breakfast; but there was plenty of breakfast bars etc in the club room.

I must say I was very disappointed in the quality of this hotel. I think it needs a soft update. Bathroom in room 813 had.mold growing from the ceiling. The bathroom door was coming apart at the lower left hand corner. Breakfast buffet was horrible, bacon sausages was cold the wait staff reheated for me, eggs a mix and again lukewarm. I've had much better quality at Holiday Inn Express! Being an IHG member I guess I was expecting better quality. May or may not speak with manager.

We stayed here because a fundraising dinner was being held here. The hotel was very clean, in good condition and the staff was helpful and friendly. My only complaint is that it would be helpful to know if all rooms are "pet friendly" or just some. Though the room didn't smell of dog, nor did I see any pet hair, I woke up congested with a headache from allergies. I would recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a place to stay near the Portland Airport.
