First time stay at this hotel. Service was great. The breakfast staff at the restaurant, some of the best I've encountered. Fast, friendly, very accomodating at your requests. Room was a good size. Clean, comfortable bed and good water pressure in the shower. Bottled water, coffee/tea, mini refrigerator available in the room. Its worth a stay if you can, Will look forward in to staying here again.

We went to this hotel for a weekend getaway for our anniversary. They let us check in early on a week day and waived the early check-in change. They sent us a free champagne and chocolate strawberries to our room. Very helpful in restaurant suggestion in Portland. Let us use an umbrella the one night it rained. This hotel is positioned in the middle of downtown Portland, which is great for sightseeing the town. I would highly recommend staying here.

The Hilton in downtown Portland is always very nice, professional, and quiet. It is a bit too expensive, but that's mainly because downtown Portland is expensive. The staff are very nice and always helpful.

My spouse and myself ended up staying here for 57 nights, yes, 57!! This was due to a fire/flood in our apartment but we actually switched from the first hotel we were given to this one due to the service here. It was absolutely fabulous from the front desk staff Ariel, Justin, Danny, Sheila, Tyson, and the absolute best Nicky (the male Nicky, there's like 5)! It was a pleasure to see them every morning. We were greeted and asked if they could do anything to make our stay more comfortable. Also ... Read more

We chose the Hilton Towers because of the location. We went there for a concert, Leon Bridges. We walked everywhere! Didn't need a car because Portland is a walking town! Public transit was available as well. The hotel room was cramped and small. The toilet was put in at an angle to accommodate the opening and closing of the bathroom door! Ingenious. However to give you an idea how small the room is, there wasn't enough counter space to fit both of our toiletries. We travel pretty light too. ... Read more

Normally, a Hilton wouldn't constitute a Big Deal, but for us it was; we were married at this hotel in 1985 and were returning to celebrate our 30th anniversary. All arrangements were carefully made through direct contact with the hotel: first-class room, "romance package" (an uptick), the best Hilton could offer. And another request was to visit what had been named the Presidential Suite to see the room where we were wed. NOTHING went according to plan; we were assigned a room in the Tower (a... Read more

We chose this hotel because it looked to be fairly central to everything and we couldn't have made a better selection. The hotel is close to many retail and dining places and a short 4-5 walk block to the waterfront park. There's a parking garage attached to the hotel for easy (but not cheap at $30) parking. The lobby was nice and cool during a 100F heatwave and the bar offered a welcome respite. The rooms are super clean and the beds are very comfortable. The views aren't great but ask for a... I stayed 3 nights at the Hilton Executive Tower because my conference was held at this location. I slept quite because the AC was not too loud, the king bed was comfortable and the noise from the street or from other guests was nonexistent. Return visit to this site as it is a prime location - within walking distance to so many attractions, shopping, bars/pubs and food! The staff is super helpful and rooms are everything you expect for the hotel chain! I'm giving the value a lower mark only due to the fee for valet parking ($43/night)... The location can't be beat. The hotel itself is nice and perfect for a conference. My room was quite small, but was absolutely acceptable for one person. It is not the fault of the hotel, if you have ever been to downtown Portland, there is a maze of oneway streets and lanes dedicated to mass transit that makes finding this hotel and extreme challenge. I would probably not have made it to my flight if it was not for the bellman Robert Smith who was responsive, responsible and ready to get the job done no questions asked. Thank's Robert, and thanks Hilton for the people like Robert that make a stressful situation seem like a minor detail. My check in... Read more

I arrived really late at night after a very long trip and was greeted warmly by the desk staff. The room was pretty large and very comfortable. The only downside was that my window faced an inner courtyard brick wall that led to the pool. If I were to stay there again I would definitely request an outer versus an inner room. There were two towers so be sure you know where your reservation is so you don't have to cross the street.

We were here for a conference and were previously told we were in the building where the conference rooms are. That was not the case. We stayed in the executive tower which is across the street, but it's only a short walk. The hotel is very nice and conviently located to many downtown sites. Our room was nice and looked over a courtyard that was decorated. Our room was clean & comfortable, although I think the house keeping staff on our floor needs to have a little retraining. We booked a three day stay at the Hilton in Portland near pioneer square. Our main reasons for choosing this hotel are location, the pool and the reputation of the name. We typically stay in boutique hotels but when on the road often use Hamptons. Upon checkin the staff was rude, non- accommodating and generally unpleasant. The lobby in the main building must have had some work done recently but had a very strong chemical odor. We are long standing Hilton honors members and asked for any ava... Read more

Our stay was very pleasant. The corner room was very nicely sized and had some nice views of the downtown area. Note (if you haven't already) that it is two completely separate buildings operating under the Hilton name - so make sure that you double check which building you are reserved under. The staff was very helpful, the in room dining was pretty good (dessert). Otherwise, the property is consistent with the Hilton brand and will treat you well. The valet and room service staff were very nic... Read more

The rooms are small. The lobby was being remodeled when we were here. The main disappointment was the gym and pool. They are both very small. The gym consists of 2 ellipticals and 3 treadmills along with one bench for lifting. This is tiny for such a huge hotel. You couldn't drown a 1 inch tall person in that pool.

I come to Portland monthly and I usually really enjoy my stay here. Being a Hilton member I always try to stay at the embassy or tower. However, this stay was extremely disappointing. I learned appon check in that they were remodeling the fitness center and pool. Ok, at least they offered access to the extremely small facilities at the other building. Honestly, I hated walking between buildings down town Portland after swimming and working out. I just decided to forgo the workouts after day one... Read more

It started with the valet not really knowing what to do. He didn't seem to know to approach the car or ask if I was checking in or not. Then when I went to get my valet the front desk said they were out and said they would take care of it... They didn't and I was Kate for my appointment. The gentlemen at the front desk was NOT apologetic but was defensive. Next Day a new valet still not knowing what to do. The room service never answered the list goes on. I would stay at the Marriott

The front desk check-in staff are fabulous! Kelsey took extra time and worked hard to find a room that was available for me so that I could extend my stay for three extra days, after I decided last-minute to stay a bit longer in Portland than I originally planned. We have stayed here the past three years when we ran the Portland Marathon, but this stay has by far been the best. Wonderful staff, especially Kelsey at the front desk, and the bar staff, are all exceptionally wonderful. Love this hot... Read more

My wife and I stayed here on the first leg of an Oregon vacation that included Portland and the Willamette Valley. The Hilton is in a prime location downtown, central to virtually everything in that area, with excellent access to public transportation. The staff was positive and friendly and went out of their way to make sure our stay was a good one. With my HHonors gold status, we were upgraded to the executive tower and given complimentary breakfast each morning. The rooms were spacious, w... Read more

No joke. They held my car hostage, and embarrassed me in front of a lobby full of people for no valid reason. Why you might ask? I asked the same thing. I booked my room and checked in through the HHonors app. Since it wouldn't let me pick my room on the app, I called at 4:30am the day of my arrival to see if they could assign me a room with a view. The gentleman at the front desk said he had a room with a lovely view picked out for me. Haha - see the picture below of the 'lovely' view he gave... Read more

It's funny how large downtown hotels force you to use their restaurant/bars. No microwave or fridge and extremely small bathroom. 4 days-for-a-grand and yet they want $3.50 for bottled water in the room! Clean and staff was excellent. $30 self parking; $42 valet per day, but found $16 right around the corner.

So, today about 4 o'clock I started trying to call the Hilton downtown Portland Oregon towers. I called 5 times and kept getting voicemail and when I got a real person twice, who was rude, I was told to call the national number, and was put on hold and then told me to directly call the hotel, isnt that what I already did??? So helpful.

Everyone was cheerful and helpful from the front desk, concierge, dining staff and especially Alex who took care of us and our room. We had a small problem with our TV not working but they replaced it quickly and compensated us more than adequately. Hotel was within easy walking distance and close to excellent light rail system. Prices were on the upper end but certainly comparable for the quality and location. We were very pleased

We stay here 3 nights, since there is not too much to do in the city, it would be nice to spend some time in Jacuzzi or SPA. Unfortunately, they don't have one. They have a small indoor swimming pool good for 2 or 3 children playing in side, without any atmosphere or view. Not comfortable to walk on the street with a lot of homeless and mental illness people hanging around.
