This hampton was recently renovated. The room was clean and comfortable and the new bathroom layout was efficient. The only negative aspect of my stay was noise levels. The walls are quite thin and I easily heard conversations in the adjoining rooms.

Our company always uses Hampton because they have the best people working for them. From the time you check in to the time you leave they are there to make sure everything is perfect. It is nice to come back to after a full day of classes or meetings.

Had an excellent experience here. Hotel recently renovated and it shows. Very clean and tidy, nice lobby, and rooms in good shape. I did find the 'storage space'(hangers, ironing board) behind a curtain in the room a little... uh... interesting. But overall good room/bathroom layout. Front desk was excellent - went above and beyond in friendliness and helpfulness. Breakfast had nice variety. Pool was above average - kids enjoyed the plentiful water toys (pool noodles, balls) and could hav... Read more

Only 15 minutes from downtown and just minutes from the Columbia Gorge, this hotel is perfect for those folks who don't want to pay downtown prices. It is also very close to PDX and, although it doesn't have a shuttle, a quick Uber ride can get to either the airport or the MAX, Portland's light rail. Recently remodeled rooms are extraordinarily clean and well designed and the salt water hot tub and pool are very relaxing after a day of sightseeing. Efficient and friendly staff. For those who like to maintain their fitness routine while travelling, the gym and pool are good options. Very clean & spacious room. Good quality brand of toiletries provided (Neutrogena shampoo, conditioner and soaps). Good warm breakfast for people on the go or even for families. Overall, very good value for money. The Hampton is about 15 minutes from Portland. But since we were really headed for the Columbia River Gorge, the location of the hotel was perfect.

Stayed for 2 nights. This is a great location for getting around sightseeing. We had a newly renovated room that was clean and comfortable. Whatâ??s up with the trend of no closets and just rods on the wall? Room 214 is right above the pool. It wasnâ??t noisy for long, but I would get a different room. The low flow shower head is a trickle. But all and all I would definitely stay here again.

I enjoyed my stay at the Hampton inn because of it's breakfast, ease of highway access and location to my necessary meetings. Staff was nice and rooms were clean. Access to PDX was easy and not far away at all which helped a lot. There wasn't anywhere to walk so exercise, even with the fitness room, wasn't always easy.

I stay at a lot of Hilton prpeprties on travel for work. I have stayed at both ends of the chain options. This was my first stay at this Hampton Inn. I ended picking this one because of the crazy busy week in Protland at this time and all the other prices were above my allotted limit. However, I must say, I have never had better customer service at any hotel- Hilton or non-Hilton property! The hotel facilities were adequate, typical of Hampton Inn level. Girls Weekend. We had a very nice room and plenty of room. Love the new renovation with the barn door bathroom door. Great location near the freeway. Very quiet. Easy to get into Portland. Staff was nice especially Kianna. Also, breakfast staff was very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel. I work for Hilton Hotels and was impressed.

It was sparkling fresh and clean-probably the cleanest hotel room we've ever had. Great hotel. Lots of unexpected extra touches, in a new fresh, clean atmosphere. Extra towels, a couch, storage space, reading lamps, lots of plugs for charging in the room. Good breakfast, variety of hot and cold food. Staff was welcoming and friendly. Some noodles and water balls in the pool for kids! Pool was CLEAN and saltwater system, rather than chlorine, a nice plus. Snacks available, convenient to the River Gorge area, airport and downtown Portland. Excellent for a family stay.

The fold out sofabed was a great bonus. I was on a business trip and my family travelled with me. Everyone had his/her own bed and it was nice. Not too far from downtown Portland by car and looks like it is in an industrial area so it is pretty quiet on the weekend. Lots of fast food places to pick up a snack. The best thing. Free parking. My stay in downtown cost $48 bucks a night.

I usually stay right up near the airport at one of the adjoining properties. While they are convenient, they are also not the most quiet. I tried this as an alternative, about 5 miles down Airport Way from the airport. Oh, so much more quiet and restful. A straight shot down Airport Way to PDX, or onto the freeway. I had meetings both in Portland and Salem, with an early flight out when finished...this really worked well.

Stayed here 3 nights (2Q room on 2nd floor, facing parking lot) for visiting the Gorge and Portland area. Room has a modern IKEA-esque look with plenty of USB charging stations although one minor quibble is that while the little white shelves for the clean towels instead of the usual metal rack/towel bar look very nice and tidy, there's no place in the bathroom other than the shower curtain rod to hang up a bath towel after you've used it.
